Or August. 😂🙈

LumosNox · 07/08/2018 12:57

@RanchoRelaxo I've been taking them because of the NHS website as well. Thanks for mentioning vitamin C, I'll add that to my list. You've got this, girl!

@Delilah7 so glad you're feeling excited again. We're here for you, lovely. 😘

This is probably a silly question, but a few of you have mentioned preseed - what is it?

We can do it, ladies! Here's hoping September is our month!

Delilah7 · 07/08/2018 12:08

@CrystalBlaze my OH and family ( apart from my devil sister ) have been amazing.

@Delilah7 that's lovely. I'm so glad you've been able to get a bit of support Flowers

Delilah7 · 07/08/2018 09:34

@BambiOnIce80 well I wouldn't of been able to get through this miscarriage without the support of you all!

Once again @ValidUser, I am in awe of your dedication!! It's also the second time within a week that I have sprayed tea across my desk reading this thread 😂 🤣

@Delilah7, thank you so much for continuing the thread. It really is a massive help keeping me upbeat/sane in a process that can be disheartening/head wrecking💖

Delilah7 · 07/08/2018 08:49

Got so much love for this group. So glad I did another thread! couldn't of got through nearly the last week without you guys. Seems weird to say I was pregnant nearly a week ago! Very strange.
Looking forward to trying again. Hoping flo app can get it right again soon! x

Me too! I’m cycle day 5 and now really looking forward to this month. All this talk is making me excited! We’re going to try SMEP this month and already use Preseed. Fingers crossed for all of us Smile

BambiOnIce80 · 07/08/2018 08:41

@RanchoRelaxo, I'm cd10, so looks like we may be TWW buddies this time 🙂 Thanks for the vit C tip - I suspect my luteal phase could do with all the help it can get!

@Delilah7, that's the spirit lovely 😘

Delilah7 · 07/08/2018 08:25

Morning everyone, and welcome to the newbies Smile
Lumosnox that's all I have been taking up untill now, saw they were recommended on the NHS website
Right, I am making a vow now that I will get pregnant this month 😂 I am cd 9, my fertile week starts next week, I have started taking vitamin C to help my luteal phase and am using pre seed this month, wish me luck guys I am not going down without a fight this time 😂

ValidUser · 07/08/2018 08:05

In the interest of sharing, we have turkey basted me 3 times.

Probably due a positive OPK today (and I ovulate fairly soon after that) and my back has yet to improve for sexy purposes.

LumosNox · 07/08/2018 07:52

@ChaosMoon I like the idea of the DH-trap to guard the tests - I might have to try that one!

Happy birthday for the weekend ladies.

@ChaosMoon, @BabySquid and @CrystalBlaze same here. My MIL especially gets super-suspicious if I just ask for a glass of water instead of something alcoholic.

@BambiOnIce80 thanks for the info!

I drink things that look like they could have alcohol in them, like @BambiOnIce80 has suggested maybe a nice tonic?

If I'm handed a drink, I'll try to tactically ditch it. It helps that DH can be my sidekick...

CrystalBlaze · 07/08/2018 07:47

Thanks @Bambi that's really helpful. Maybe I will partake of a small glass Grin

Also good idea on fancy tonic

BambiOnIce80 · 07/08/2018 07:42

Hello lovely new ladies 👋

@CrystalBlaze, I've been reading up a lot on when it is and isn't OK to drink (as I do love a drink! 🍸). Given that an embryo wouldn't implant until 7-9 dpo, most guidance say drinking in moderation is OK before that time frame. During and after that it's best to play it safe and abstain until you know if you're pregnant or not.

@ChaosMoon, my bestie is coming to visit about 2 days before my next AF is due, so I've been giving the fake drinking some thought too 😄 If you can stomach a nice tonic (I think I'd go for fever tree Mediterranean 🤔), then I reckon that with a garnish should create the desired smoke screen 😉

CrystalBlaze · 07/08/2018 07:04

Same problem here @ChaosMoon and @BabySquid. Got a family thing this weekend. I'll be a few days dpo so too early to know anything and not sure what to do! Reading conflicting advice about whether its ok to have a glass of fizz!

What would others do?

BabySquid · 07/08/2018 06:34

@ChaosMoon oh tell me about it! M-I-L is always so suspicious when I'm not drinking, going to be worse next weekend as it's my hubs 30th!! I'm sure we can think of some excuses 👍🏻 and thank you. Xx

ChaosMoon · 07/08/2018 06:29

Thanks @LumosNox.

@BabySquid That's a really good idea. I put my tests in a really awkward place that meant I'd wake DH up if I got them out in the morning. I need the loo so badly when I wake up in the morning there's no way I'd go to all that hassle so it stopped me doing it until I thought it was sensible to!

I hope you get the birthday present you want. My birthday is this weekend too. It's a problem I'm glad I have, that I'm currently deliberating how I fake drinking!

CrystalBlaze · 06/08/2018 21:55

Welcome @Bettyhop and @BabySquid! Our gang is growing by the day!

LumosNox · 06/08/2018 21:47

@Bettyhop you sound very busy at the moment! How close are you to the big move? When do you think you'll be testing? Being a midwife must be so exciting!

Question to all of you - I'm currently taking folic acid and vitamin D as well as trying to eat a bit healthier. Is there anything else you are doing to prepare?

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 21:45

@Bettyhop fingers crossed my lovely 😍

Another one late to the party🎉 this is our third cycle the currently cd16 and 5dpo. My cycles are 21-23 days normally but for the last 2 days my breasts have been so so heavy and sore. I know it's probably far too early to have any signs but I live in hope! I've been with my fiance 6.5 years, we are in the process off selling our first home and moving to our 'family' home, oh...and I'm also a midwife! Love (just about) every moment of it too. Hello to everyone! Hope we can all do this together👭

LumosNox · 06/08/2018 21:32

Welcome @BabySquid! I've got everything crossed for you.

Delilah7 · 06/08/2018 21:26

@LumosNox thank you 😘

@BabySquid welcome! Defo try not to test to early, I know how hard it is! Keep positive. After 3 cycles it all gets more real. I feel pregnant on my 4th and unfortunately miscarried xx
