Hi ladies. We reached the max posts!! @BambiOnIce80 I'm feeling ok, just feel abit silly. My flo app says I'm due tomorrow but I am always 28 days and always have cramps which I don't have yet. How about you xx

Cake Delilah. You shouldn't feel you have to stop posting unless you think you would feel better for being away - if that makes sense! I'm more of a lurker but you seem like such a lovely and supportive person and I'm really sorry you're going through a thought time. Un-Mumsnetty hugs your way.

AF just came for me... end of cycle 6. Sad Stupid but it feels like a milestone and not a good one. I really wish there wasn't the whole 1-year minimum thing on getting a referral if under 30 -- it just feels really dispiriting going on for another 6 months if, e.g., DH's sperm count is low or my luteal phase isn't long enough etc. Confused

Anyway, there you go -- I have far less excuse than you do, Delilah, but I'm being negative too!! BlushSad

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 11:11

@Penny04 Hi welcome :) sometimes having no symptoms is the best symptom. Keep positive but also think it's only cycle 2 so it might just be your body changing! never know though. Fingers crossed xx

Hi all!

I hope you don't me joining in, im currently on cycle #2 and 6dpo - the ttw struggle is real!!
Its my husband's 30th birthday this weekend and have a family get together planned. So even though it will be early im hoping to test on Friday or Saturday so I know if I can have a glass or two, as well as also being the best birthday present!
Felt we timed things well this month and so are in with a good shot but not feeling any different so have convinced myself this isn't my month. Will anyone else be testing around the same time?

starkid · 13/08/2018 10:55

Hi @Delilah7 thank you!
Yes we've always used them even when I used to be on the pill. No splits that I've noticed...

Ok I'll get some at lunch, might as well if I'm going to be joining you all next month anyway! I've already been warned I may struggle due to previous surgery near that area and therefore scar tissue, but you never know.

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 10:46

@starkid welcome lovely. worth a test I'd say, have you used condoms every time? any splits? Xx

starkid · 13/08/2018 10:37

Hi everyone, I'm not actively trying for my first yet until next month (in fact still using condoms!), however I'm usually on a 28-29 day cycle, and it's now 32 days and no period. Do you think I should do a test, or wait a few more days just in case? Was going to go get a pack of the £1 for 2 Freedom tests in Asda.

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 10:23

@BambiOnIce80 thanks lovely. My doctor has said that she thinks I should try it natural for a few months before OPKS and lube etc... which is like to. But I know I'm going to get really impatient 😂 I'm hoping I'm ovulating when Flo says as I'm doing good if so! X

@Delilah7, I totally understand. The BFP's are fabulous news, but there will be a few of us on here for a good while yet no doubt. My frame of mind keeps yo-yoing between really positive ("you're doing everything that you can, so you stand a chance") to totally negative ("you're unexplained primary infertility has followed you into this relationship, so what's the point"). Total head f🤬k.

I cope with stuff by being a bit of a planner, so if conception support vitamins, fertility lubricant, OPK's and DTD every day this fertile window doesn't end up with a BFP at the end of this month, I have a cunning plan for next cycle... 😉 Helps keep me positive 🙂

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 09:51

@BambiOnIce80 thank you... I'm not trying to dampen the post or distract us from the amazing BFPS. I'm just feeling abit low. And the fact I have no idea what's gonna happen this month. We have DTD twice in 3 day's and apparently I'm near my ovulation even after I put my miscarriage ( put these in as a period ) dates in Flo. Just feel there's no point trying this month xx

@Delilah7, after all that you've been through recently it's no surprise that you're feeling the way you are 😔 We're here if you need us.x

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 09:38

@BambiOnIce80 @ValidUser thank you. I guess I'm just feeling abit down and don't wanna drag others with me. Means a lot you guys would miss me! I dont want to go anywhere I guess I'm just worrying xx

OP posts:
ValidUser · 13/08/2018 09:32

No dig perceived! Just we'd miss you. But you need to do whatever is right for you. X

BambiOnIce80 · 13/08/2018 09:30

You're integral to this thread @Delilah7! Not everyone has a magical TTC journey filled with rainbows, unicorns and kittens - mine has most certainly sucked so far! Whilst I appreciate it's important to try and stay positive, we're only human so there's no way we can manage it the whole time. The whole reason I'm on this thread is to be able to seek a bit of support when I need it and I really want to return that to everyone else on here.

You do what you need to do lovely, but please don't stay away just because you don't want to bring people down. You won't.x

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 09:16

@ValidUser please don't think this is a dig at ANYONE. I guess I just find it hard to be involved in conversations as I'm always so bloody negative. I get why people wouldn't wanna respond 😂 just having a down day xx

OP posts:
ValidUser · 13/08/2018 09:14

Don't leave us @Delilah7! Obviously you're free to take a break, but you're so, so welcome.

Plus, I'm always on here whinging about my back and telling you all about my jizz syringes. I don't plan on going anywhere. ❤️

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 08:55

Morning ladies.

I might have to come off here for abit, unsure of how I feel. I feel you guys are having such positive experiences and normally post positive things and every time I post it's just negative and not ignored but hard to respond to. 😔 xx

Ahhhhh @Glitzy!!!! Congratulations! So exciting and great timing with your new house.

In answer to your question - I am really tired but boobs seem okay at the moment. But...and sorry for tmi...DP and I DTD last night and the only way I can describe it is I felt a sort of discomfort in my lower abdomen. Had light twinges on one side all day yesterday too and they were different to usual AF type cramps. I'm going to hold off testing till the weekend though.

@laura1405 completely understand your frustration! You just want to know either way! But fingers crossed x

CookieWaffle · 13/08/2018 07:44

Oh congratulations @Glitzy07!! How exciting :)

purplestar9 · 13/08/2018 07:08

@laura1405 I hope what you're experiencing is a BFP! My first cycle off the pill was an interesting one also, I had so many pregnancy symptoms it's unreal. But I did later read that it's common when first coming off the pill. I had convinced myself I was pregnant - and I was late for AF!

purplestar9 · 13/08/2018 07:04

@CookieWaffle thank you! I guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow!

@Glitzy07 congratulations! So exciting!

Delilah7 · 12/08/2018 18:19

@Glitzy07 no problem. Looking forward to getting another BFP sometime and hoping it sticks this time! xx

@delilah7 thanks by the way 😘😘

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 18:08

@bambiOnIce80 thank you! Hopefully the lottery next 😊🤞 they say come in 3s... Lol. Still early days but hopefully will all be fine. Xx

Glitzy07 · 12/08/2018 18:04

@delilah7 I'm no expert lol it was my 1st go at it, feel very blessed. I guess for us neither of us stressed about it, we had just came back from holiday so we we're relaxed and had the house to look forward to. I read before hand online after you BD to jeep your legs up abit for 20mins or so to keep all the special stuff in lol... sorry tmi. Yep definitely keep on top of CM as soon as it's thin and stretchy that was the best time to BD. I used CoQ10 which I heard is suppose to enhance fertility and conceive plus lubricant... We don't usually use lubricant but I read super excellent reviews that people conceived 1st time using it and it seems to have worked for us. Worth trying. Really wish you all the best for a successful BFP xxx
