@ValidUser the syringing makes a lot of sense now - you're no stranger to them! 😂🤣

Good luck with the 4WW @CookieWaffle! 🤞

ValidUser · 13/08/2018 21:25

@CookieWaffle I'm a doctor. If I agree you're pregnant does that count? Grin

CookieWaffle · 13/08/2018 21:20

Welcome new ladies!

If it's any help for all those about to symptom spot, I only had symptoms in the second week of the tww and most of those I could find some alternative reason for. I think the going to the loo alot from about 12 dpo was the first thing that got me thinking. And then the tiredness from about 13dpo. Got a tiny brown implantation drop on 11dpo, I suspect it happened arond 9dpo. Otherwise was a pretty normal couple weeks!

Called docs today, didn't realise I don't go and see anyone til 8 weeks, it's like I still can't confirm it for another month. It's like the 2ww became the 4ww!

BambiOnIce80 · 13/08/2018 20:20

@Hopefull37 you're better to wait until first thing in the morning straight after you wake up. If the HCG is there it'll be at a higher concentration then, so less likely to get a false BFN that way.

I'm 1dpo @ValidUser, so I'll be joining you very soon with the psychological shenanigans 😄

ValidUser · 13/08/2018 19:49

@BambiOnIce80 I'm somewhere between 2 and 4, so very unlikely! Theoretically possible very early on but apparently rare before day 6.

Psychological pregnancy, methinks!

Hopefull37 · 13/08/2018 19:44

Thank you. I got the boots one in the way home I really want to POAS now, is it best to wait until the morning? I’ll check if it has sensitivity you mention.

BambiOnIce80 · 13/08/2018 19:40

Absolutely 🤞🍀 for us both @TakingtheLeap 🙂 And don't be a stranger, you lurker you! 😉

BambiOnIce80 · 13/08/2018 19:35

Remind me how many dpo you are @ValidUser? I've read implantation can occur between 7-9dpo (one source said 6-10 too).

@Hopefull37 welcome 👋 If it's the early preg tests you're after, I bought the onesteps off amazon which are sensitive down to 10IU/ml. Anything that gets down to that level should be good for an early test 👍

And welcome @Buttons28 🙂 I had the minerva taken out rather than being on the pill, but one of my friends came off her pill in April and still hasn't had AF yet. She went to the doctors and they said to not worry because it can take as long as 6 months 🙄 Hopefully yours will get here sooner rather than later 🤞

TakingtheLeap · 13/08/2018 19:27

Thanks @Delilah7. From what little I know I think you can ovulate fairly promptly again after a miscarriage -- so you could well be.

@RanchoRelaxo yes, it definitely feels like it should have happened by now! It makes the years of anxiously taking birth control, occasional MAP and terrified pregnancy tests seem very ironic. EnvyGrin

@BambiOnIce80, thanks, that's good (well, useful) to know! You're right that there's still plenty of time, so fingers crossed -- for us both!

Buttons28 · 13/08/2018 18:52

Hi, hope you don't mind if I join?
TTC #1 waiting to start my first proper cycle. Stopped the pill end of June and had my withdrawal bleed and nothing since then! I've had no twinges or anything to speak of and no sign of AF. Has anyone else had experience stopping the pill and had to wait so long? Just want my body to kick in and get going so that we can start trying.

Hopefull37 · 13/08/2018 18:50

Hi all, can I join you all. I have been reading through the posts. TTC almost a year, 11DPO. Can anyone recommend the best test to use? Thanks

ValidUser · 13/08/2018 18:35

Spotting today, but probably too early for implantation and definitely too early for AF.

CrystalBlaze · 13/08/2018 14:28

Too right @MrsO!

MrsO10D · 13/08/2018 14:19

Ahh ladies, this will make you laugh. I just went on LinkedIn and one of my connections posted a report their business just released. It actually refers to being a woman as a 'diversity status'! Well if that hasn't put us back 100 years, I don't know what has. I think being a woman is bloody awesome!

Being awesome if definitely something to remember while TTC, especially through the highs and lows. Smile

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 14:06

@CrystalBlaze ahhhhh it defo feels like it!!

Sounds positive to me @Delilah7. Bear in mind it was an early MC so more chance of your cycles getting back to normal more quickly. Go for it!

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 12:48

@BambiOnIce80 can't actually quite believe it if it is... didn't know ovulation would happen that quick! 😂

OP posts:
BambiOnIce80 · 13/08/2018 12:48

Sounds pretty hopeful to me @Delilah7 🙂 Can't hurt to DTD to cover your bases 😉

BambiOnIce80 · 13/08/2018 12:45

Welcome new ladies 👋

Fab news @RanchoRelaxo that the whizzy OPK's are looking good 🙂

I hear you @TakingtheLeap - it's very frustrating 😔 I'm on cycle 4, but I did 39 cycles with my ex 5 years ago. I've being reading up on what has changed since the last time I went through the NHS process and it turns out there's quite a lot! Turns out whether your under or over 36 years old, you've still got to have been trying for 2 years before you're entitled to IVF... I guess that gives them a year/and a half to get all the testing done and investigate what's going on 🙄 This is purely for "just in case you were wondering" purposes - you've still got plenty of time to be one of the 84% that get their BFP in the first year 🤞🍀

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 12:29

Here's a question for you ladies.
So nearly two weeks ago I miscarried as you well know. My flo app tells me my ovulation day is tomorrow based on me putting in my miscarriage bleed as a period. Now, we DTD Friday and yesterday and since Saturday I've had the mucus in my pants and on tissue again. I now have pain which I would class as how my old ovulation pain felt like. Could I really be ovulating again this soon???

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 12:18

@RanchoRelaxo I know just wanting the negativity to go away now. 😔

RanchoRelaxo · 13/08/2018 12:12

Happy Monday everyone 👎
Delilah7 god knows I do my fair share of moaning haha don't feel like you have to leave just because of that! That's the point of this thread 🙂
Sorry for AF TakingtheLeap 6 months for me too, I know what you mean, I keep thinking that statistically it should have happened by now!
I got a flashing smiley this morning, so fingers crossed my ov date might be a bit earlier this month!

CrystalBlaze · 13/08/2018 12:00

Also ladies I keep leaping between here and the other TTC first baby thread! Not sure which one is best to use

CrystalBlaze · 13/08/2018 11:59

Welcome @Penny! I'll be testing this weekend too if AF doesn't arrive. Don't feel like I have any symptoms to speak of either, just a bit tired.

Delilah7 · 13/08/2018 11:51

@TakingtheLeap thank you lovely. You guys keep me going so no I wouldn't like to leave. Just feel abit meh. Oh hun :( I understand how you feel. Every cycle seems to get longer and longer. It'll come, when you least expect it ❤️
