@hayleyfx oh my darling I'm so sorry. I haven't logged in today and have just seen this. I don't know why these things happen because I do know that you and your OH deserve a lovely healthy baby. I am so sure that it will happen for you but for now have a holiday, enjoy your special partnership and stay here for all the support and penguin cuddles that you need. Sending lots of love xxxxx

zarala · 27/07/2018 19:55

@hayleyfx I can only echo what the other wonderful ladies here have said,
My heart breaks for you and your partner but you are blessed to have each other. You are so strong and you will get through this together. And we are all here for you
Sending lots of love and hugs your way
💐

Funkyemzie · 27/07/2018 19:54

Oh @hayleyfx that's so terrible but amazing that you have such a supportive partner! I remember when you got your bfp.

Big hugs and hand holds for you lovely, I thought about you today. Xxx

@hayleyfx I'm so so sorry to hear your sad news, sending you virtual hugs! There's nothing I can say that will make you feel better about this but glad you're being looked after, your DH sounds lovely. Definitely go on holiday, you deserve a good break away x

Maydot · 27/07/2018 19:31

@hayleyfx i am so sorry to hear your news. I can't imagine how hard things must be for you but please of course stay in the huddle and post whenever you feel you need a little extra support. I'm so glad your DH is being so good to you and I hope you both take the time to grieve and heal together - a holiday sounds like a wonderful idea. So much love and hugs to you both xxx

Hi ladies, sorry for being AWOL but had a hectic couple days. Our baby has been diagnosed with Encephalocele, which is similar to spina bifida but happens on the brain. The skull hasn’t properly developed and some of the brain tissue is growing outside of the head. The chance of survival is 1 in 5 - however they think I would miscarry before the birth anyway. Sadly I have to have a termination, I feel devastated and heartbroken but it’s not fair to bring this baby into the world (if it even made it). We were told that if, by some miracle, the baby survived then it would be severely mentally and physically disabled from the neck down. It’s the worst case scenario. It will be a week or two before I can have the termination but after it, I get to hold the baby and say goodbye. Which makes me feel a bit better. We’ve decided that my body needs a break after this and we also need a bloody holiday! Feeling so rubbish but beyond thankful for my amazing partner. I just love him so much, he’s told me that tonight he’s buying me all my favourite chocolates and sweets then we’re coming home and I’m getting a hot bath and a massage haha. We’ll be okay, as long as we have each other. Just want to say a huge thank you for all the support you ladies have given me, it means so much and really does help ❤️

Also - is it alright for me to stick around here? My body needs at least a 3 month break from TTC and pregnancy but I definitely need all your support to get through the next few weeks/months 💕

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 27/07/2018 18:15

Congratulations @Jessabean!

My thoughts are with you all ladies. I'm so grateful to be part of this huddle. I've struggled to keep up with the feed but I'm trying to catch up with everybody's news.

I'm 6DPO today, still no real symptoms to speak of. I had lots of early symptoms with my MMC so still not feeling all that optimistic but hoping for the best. AF is due next Sunday/ Monday. Wishing you all lots of baby dust x

Bobzybaby · 27/07/2018 17:46

Thanks @Mistymeow I guess the conclusion is that we can DTD either every other day or every day depending how we feel! A daily sesh seems like a bit of a chore to be honest 😂

Mistymeow · 27/07/2018 17:35

@Jessabean congratulations!! It's so good to see good news on this thread. Got everything crossed for you.

@Funkyemzie I think I see something on both those tests but I find the FRER lines tricky as they seem to have a little indent. I really hope you have a stronger line in the next few days.

@Bobzybaby we DTD every other day from cd8 over my FW but DH has a low sperm count and I have been advised that every other day is much better for building up the army haha. If your partner has a normal count you should be fine every day if you wish!

Sorry to hear of those having a tough time right now. I've been up and down but feeling much better. We saw my husband's consultant today and they are going to put him back on his fertility treatment- they said they are confident his results will vastly improve. So that's good :)

robin78 · 27/07/2018 14:43

@laney79 Thank you! It’s a funny old business. I spent 39 very upset (still bleeding then from Mc 1) and banned anyone from singing happy birthday or giving me anything. So I’m pleased I somehow feel good today. I need to make up for last year. You will have to go doubly overboard for 40... x

Laney79 · 27/07/2018 13:58

@robin78 happy birthday fellow Leo! I really struggled with mine this week-wish I could've been more like you. Hope you have a fabulous day.

@hayleyfx I have everything crossed for you. If hope and positivity can make a difference then you have it in shed loads from this thread alone. Xxx

robin78 · 27/07/2018 13:48

Thank you @crazyhorseylady @Funkemzie & @Blondcat!

Blondcat · 27/07/2018 13:42

@robin78 happy birthday 🎁🎂🎈

Funkyemzie · 27/07/2018 13:29

@robin78 many happy returns! Hope you enjoy the rest of your day, love the positive vibes. 🎂🥂

crazyhorseylady · 27/07/2018 12:50

@robin78 happy 40th! Have a great party!!

crazyhorseylady · 27/07/2018 12:49

Hugs @sweetpea0318 that sounds really tough. Do your friends and sister know about your history? If so I'm sure they will be understanding if you are feeling a bit wobbly and upset about it all. Do come and vent on here if you need to.

@hayleyfx good luck today, I hope it goes well.

robin78 · 27/07/2018 09:29

@bobotheelephant ow ow ow!! Hope it goes down soon. Oh well, too late for the grapefruit juice this time - will add it into the mix next time- but I also ate half a pineapple yesterday.

@doddlebobs Ah well done! That is a loooong fw. Yes we are just about the same. AF due for me around aug 3rd according to my app, although I expect it might be a couple of days after that. Good luck! FX for you.

@hayleyfx I'll be thinking of you today. x

@sweetpea0318 Sorry you are having a rough time sweetheart. That is a hard run of baby-related events. hugs.

A little positive note. Today is my 40th party and I've been approaching this birthday with trepidation. I normally love my birthday and have no problem with getting older but obviously the mcs put a shadow on this. Since my first mc there are so many occasions that I have just had to get through without enjoying but a few days ago I started to actually get excited about my birthday. I woke up this morning went to an early morning yoga class and now I have to say I am feeling really happy. I hope this doesn't sound unbearably smug but I wanted to share this to let people earlier in the process know that things can still be fun and joy can be had. I carry my losses and have been changed for ever by them but gradually I am finding a way to live with them.

strawberrye · 27/07/2018 08:57

@TedLife sorry for AF but hope you have a nice time away

@funkyemzie sorry for the limbo you're in, I think you're right only time will tell, sending hugs

@hayleyfx thinking of you today and really hoping you get good news

TedLife · 27/07/2018 08:52

@Knitkitty and @Yellowdaffodils86 well i'm officially out! Woke up this morning to horrendous period cramps so she's in full flow now and a day early to boot. This month was easier to take I think because I didn't test, from that first spotting I knew it was over and seeing AF is definitely easier than seeing the stark white of a pg test.

Off for my romantic hotel night away tomorrow so trying to feel good about that (despite AF!) and since i'm back to cd1 now can start looking forward and being positive again. I'm starting to really dread the TWW now, at least with FW you feel like you have some control and you're doing something. So onwards and upwards to sexy week!

Congrats to @Jessabean again, delighted we have some good news in the group Smile
