Starting 2ww once again! Who's with me?

@tinypaws I'm not overly superstitious but i was once told that when you see a single magpie you say aloud "good morning Mr Magpie, how's your mate?" Three times and that undoes any bad luck... maybe one for future reference just in case you come across some magpies flying solo in the future then you can stay feeling positive. However, I think somethings that might suggest bad luck for one mean good luck for someone else. For instance my Dad, Gran and Auntie were all born on Friday 13th so it was a lucky date for my family! Fear not!

I’m feeling a little more positive this cycle than previous as we’ve managed to dtd more this fertile period than ever before! Cd 8,9,12,14,15 so I’m hoping we have it covered!

I've seen three single magpies this weekend so not too optimistic!

I never used to be superstitious but since my miscarriage I've developed a bit of a thing about magpies!

@TinyPaws I thought it might of been my mind playing tricks the first day but because it has carried on since I wasn’t too sure. I’m not normally one to get stomach bugs (can’t ever remember having one) I really did think it was too soon to be m/s but now you say 9dpo 😱 I’m trying not to get myself to excited. Fx I can wait till the end of next week for testing

@MissNena Morning sickness (well, all day sickness really) kicked in at 9dpo in my last pregnancy so I suppose it's possible! Or it could be a tummy bug?!

I’ll add to your symptom spotting..... currently approx 8dpo and have felt super nauseous for the past 3 days with some slight lower abdomen cramping. i wake up fine but by early afternoon I feel dreadful then fine again in the evening. Can’t possibly be m/s can it? Anyway I was going to do a test but it’s still a bit early. I will (try) to wait till thurs/fri to test as AF is due on Sunday.

Then definitely worthwhile using opks etc @FlapJackered!

My cycles are still settling down after stopping breastfeeding but have been between 27-32 days so I can still time it near the middle without wearing myself out BDing all the time.

Though, I must say, I was pretty chilled out over fertile week but now that I'm in the 2ww the chill is disappearing 😬 hate this bit!

@TakingtheLeap really, that's interesting. Now I have put the temps into Fertility friend it has found my ovulation, but Natural cycles still hasn't. I emailed NC and they said apparently because my last cycle was 56days, the app doesn't believe I can ovulate so early. 🤦🏼‍♀️ they even sent me a message on the app saying 'Sorry you're not ovulating...'!

@8DaysAWeek - that is great you're feeling more chilled. I think once my cycles are less erratic I will do the same. The last few cycles have just been so crazy my fertile days have been between cd18-46 days so the opks etc do help to narrow down the fertile time. They do also make me into a crazy poas lady 😂

I am not getting any symptoms really. Just the very occasional twinge in my boobs. I think I am a bit early for symptoms yet though.

FlapJackered I've recently switched from Natural Cycles to Fertility Friend. I found it was overestimating my coverline and not recognising ovulation whereas FF does pick it up.

Currently 9dpo but starting to get typical pre-period cramps. TTC no.1, cycle no.5.

Yeah I recognised you too from last month @alicepol ! We must have very similar cycles, af due on the 25th for me too. I conceived DS with no tracking (wouldn't have had a clue what all the acronyms even mean) and on the very first occasion we had unprotected sex since being together, so it really does only take
one time!! Fingers crossed we timed it ok.

@FlapJackered it's so easy to get carried away with it all. I think the deflation from the last few months of testing and BFNs made me just give up all the tracking. I feel so much more at ease because I don't know exactly when I O'd, so hopefully I won't be tempted to test at 8-9dpo!!

@alicepol i think you did pretty well Dtd twice in the fertile week. I think some research does say it is better not to go everyday.

@8DaysAWeek - It's so easy to get over obsessed with it all. That is definitely me this month. Definitely need to find a way to chill out about it more next cycle.

I have had the 5th day of temp rise but for some reason Natural cycles app still hasn't pin pointed ovulation. It's really frustrating!

I say cycle 0 as only came off mini pill on 20th June and haven’t even had so much as a withdrawal bleed let alone a period.

HOWEVER DS was conceived in similar circumstances (pregnancy was dated from day after my last pill) so I started doing OPKs on Monday and got a positive one, and another Tuesday morning so I could have ovulated Tuesday or Wednesday.

I’m not getting my hopes up as I know it’s more likely that it’s just my body sorting itself out and probably not even ovulation, and we’d be incredibly lucky to get pregnant so quickly twice, but who knows!

AF was possibly due a couple of days ago but as ive got zero symptoms i am trying to convince myself not to test. im busy all weekend, so will test monday if no af by then

Only tracked ovulation via an ovulation calculator so no accuracy whatsoever but dtd pretty much daily over the relevant period as we're on holiday so not having to deal with life stresses! Hoping that the happy holiday mood will lead to a BFP next week. I will test on 22/7 if AF no show but not before (she says! I blatantly crack by Thursday!)

Got a positive opk on CD 11 and 12 (usually CD 14). Already driving myself mad as took a test this morning and got an evap....why am I even testing so early!?
Tried using preseed and a mooncup this month.

Totally obsessed last month and tested both opks and PTs like a crazy lady. 🙄 tried to be a bit more chilled out this time around for my own sanity. 😂 Going to try and not test until AF due 😳 #needwillpower

I think that's me in the 2ww. The last 3 months I've used opks, temped and tracked cm religiously. Not done any of that this month as I was getting too obsessed. I have been ill most of this month so sex has been down on the agenda. I reckon either I've completely missed O or I've caught it in the nick of time, purely going by previous O dates. Not feeling confident this month, but then last month we BD all over fertile week and BFN so who knows!!
