Starting 2ww once again! Who's with me?

Looks like another 2ww for me, anyone else just Starting? I'm only 2DPO so still 12 days to get through!

Age - 25
TTC #2
Cycle 5
CD 16 on a 27 day cycle (usually)
Only 2 DPO
AF due 25th July

Forgot to OPK this morning and I’m at work all day so won’t be able to test until tonight. Hopefully it’s too early for a surge anyway.

I’m considering not ‘trying’ this month now for a few reasons. 1. Timing wise I know MIL is going to be around and we won’t DTD whilst she is sleeping beneath us so if we are going to miss fertile days then what is the point in worrying about it? 2. We have a lot going on in August and ideally I will be able to have a few G&Ts Grin and 3. It’s too bloody hot!

But I will still try to catch my surge so I know for next month.

Still negative here, CD13.

No DTD tonight. DS was up at 5am and I am knackered! Will do it tomorrow to stay on EOD.

My apps always say anywhere from CD14 to 16 so will see what OPKs say this month to see if it lines up. I'm still only CD7 - this cycle is going so slow!

@8DaysAWeek yeah I think ovulation is around CD19/20 for me at the moment. Hanging in there!

Temps alone look like you O on CD19, but with opks and cm you could have just as easily Od in CD21. There's a nice increase in BBT today, and not everyone gets that preO dip. Either way you dtd on CD18 and 20 so you're covered :)

@purplestar9 my cycles used to be 33 days long and I didn't ovulate until CD19 so know the feeling! Thankfully down to 29 days but still need to wait until CD17 or so. Jealous of people that O on CD12!

@llanali did you take your temp today? Although the past couple of days have been a smidge higher than the previous, I wonder if you ovulated yesterday, and in the next three days will see a significant rise in BBT? Your cm and opks would be more suggestive of that.

I can see how most people go quiet when they're in the first two weeks of their cycle!
I'm currently on CD 10 and have an approx 33 day cycle so I have about 9/10 days till ovulation! The first two weeks end up being almost 3 weeks for me so it feels even longer than the 2ww sometimes!

That’s the million dollar question.

My last ovulation I had negative at 8am, positive at 2pm and negative at 7pm.

The one before I had 3 days of positives.

So it’s not the same for everyone, or even for yourself! Bloody annoying.

There’s a bracelet called the Ava bracelet that’s supposed to be really good in helping pinpointing ovulation. Wish I could justify the price Sad

Ah, hadn’t thought of that: how long does the surge last? There was no surge on Monday morning on either the cheapie or clear blue :/

If you got a peak on the Monday night you could have been catching the surge on its way down?

Weird how my opks didn’t show positive or peak until the 31st/ very late on the 30th. I see how my temps suggest the 30th though.

I though opks went positive 12/24 hours before ovulation? I’m so confused lol

Looks like ovulation was on the 30th - one more raised temp will confirm this

Thanks ladies, so we DTd on Sunday, got a peak static smile on Tuesday morning at 6am (but think the cheapie opk on Monday night was positive too) and DTd on Tuesday night..... 18 hours after I got the peak smile.

Peak smile lasted until Wednesday night/this morning. OPK cheapies not positive any more either.

It’s the first time I’ve used opks or done temping so I don’t know when you ovulate after they go positive etc!!

Yeah it will be interesting to see @8daysaweek we aren't ones to dtd every day all the time tbh so will definitely help to narrow down ovulation better.
Convincing DH we need to up our BD game! 😂

MIL will be staying here on either CD 16 or 17, typical! Grin she sleeps in the room below ours which isn’t ideal for TTC.

It'll be interesting to see if you've been ovulating when you think you have @alicepol! I guess if you dtd often it shouldn't really matter. We don't have the busiest of sex lives so it's important to us to make sure we are doing it at the right time haha.
