I'm testing Saturday at 11 dpo purely because I've got an evening out so need to know if I can drink or not!

Charlotte1x · 12/07/2018 20:46

Let us know how you get on ladies! X

TheMagicTorch · 12/07/2018 20:25

I'm testing tomorrow and Saturday 😂

FSlater · 12/07/2018 19:05

@bas27 we are nearly the same - I’m 8dpo tomorrow!! Trying to hold off until 12dpo so Tuesday. But might squeeze a little one on Sunday hah can’t resist. AF due 20/21/22 so FRER should work from 14/15/16th!

Bas27 · 12/07/2018 19:04

I will wait to test until Saturday.
I will wait to test until Saturday.
I will wait to test tomorrow on Saturday.
It's better if we can do it together!

@Baz27 we are on the same timeline, here's to Saturday testing!

Charlotte1x · 12/07/2018 18:52

@Bas27 eeeeek it’s so tempting for me to go out and buy tests but really trying to resist. Getting a few more pains and pressure sensations in my front now though so could be AF on her way :( x

TheMagicTorch · 12/07/2018 18:13

@bas27 thank you very true!!

Bas27 · 12/07/2018 18:04

@TheMagicTorch you're still in until the red witch.

@Charlotte1x I am trying to resist the urge to test tomorrow at 9dpo!!! I've said Saturday as the tests are 20% more likely to be accurate.

Pain for me feels like it’s in the kidney too - wouldn’t describe it as pain, more like a dull ache. Have also had massive munchies, felt a bit nauseous and hot, and god my skin has exploded ha. But I’m only 7dpo so not getting carried away!! How’s everyone doing?

Charlotte1x · 12/07/2018 16:21

@TheMagicTorch ahh I’ve just let my cat inside, unfortunately she isn’t following me and is just being as much of an evil little madam as usual 😂 x

TheMagicTorch · 12/07/2018 14:41

@MrsT1983 I've got two cats and one is really cuddly, the other quite stand-offish and she's the one who's been jumping up for cuddles the last two days!

BFN on a FRER this morning, but hopefully it's just a bit too early 🤞🤞

@Charlotte1x last month when I got a BFP (but sadly had a chemical) I had similar pains in my lower back! 🤞 For you and well done waiting to test!!

Charlotte1x · 12/07/2018 14:10

@TrevorJ I find that I manage to restrain myself if I give myself set dates in my head. If I started POAS now I’d never stop lol. I get way too obsessed with ovulation sticks.

TrevorJ · 12/07/2018 13:46

@Charlotte1x very impressed at your willpower! I wouldn't be able to hold off testing!

I'm getting a little bit of cramping but also super obsessing over everything!

Charlotte1x · 12/07/2018 07:58

Morning all. Thanks for your comments. The pain is very low down in my back, at the very top of my bum cheeks too. It’s mostly in the middle and to the right.
It just wouldn’t let up yesterday! I’d had twinges in the morning but by the afternoon there was no break in the little stabbing pains.
Could be AF as I always get cramps for quite a while before she’s due but it’s usually in my front, not my back.
How is everyone feeling? Anyone close to testing soon? I’m gonna try and wait till Monday unless AF arrives before. I’ll be 14DPO so hoping I’ll get a definite answer. Xx

Angelmiracle · 12/07/2018 00:10

@Charlotte1x Ditto what @Mumplanner said about the kidneys- its the only symptom I remember with DS thought Id kidney infection was drinking loads if cranberry juice! Really hope its a good sign for you 🤞🤞🤞

Mumplanner · 11/07/2018 23:50

@Charlotte1x - where abouts in your back is the pain? I’ve found my kidneys have been sore at the back and then my cramping has been predominantly very low on my left hand side at the front - not really like normal cramping - it feels like a slightly sharper feeling but not really painful. I don’t know if that helps? X

MrsT1983 · 11/07/2018 23:50

@Charlotte1x I had some weird pulling type pains in my stomach first time round but didn’t realise they were probably implantation until afterwards, so hopefully that’s what you’re feeling! I’m also 9dpo today (I think), I’ve been having some cramps in my back, which I don’t normally get with af, nipples are quite sensitive since this morning and my husband has commented on me being really forgetful last few days, which I had early on last time. Also, my cats have been following me round like shadows which was also one of the reasons I tested with DS 😂 keeping my fingers crossed but not holding out too much hope since it’s only our first month of trying! @Mumplanner they’re the tests I’m using- just had to order another batch as I’ve nearly used the first lot up this week 🙈

Bas27 · 11/07/2018 21:59

@Charlotte1x I have never been pregnant so I can't tell you first hand what implantation pain feels like.
However, I know that it is common to feel this in your back as well. It shouldn't be painful enough to take paracetamol though. From everything I have read it should feel like pinching or a lighter version of your af cramps. 9dpo is the most common day of implantation.

Sorry your struggling at the moment!
I'm finding it easier today than I have for the last few. I think it's because it's nearly time to test.

Hi all! I’m really obsessing at the moment :(

I’m 9 DPO and I’ve been getting cramps for a while. This is completely normal for me in the lead up to AF. BUT the majority of the pain, especially today, is in my back. Short stabbing pains, bad to the point that I’ve had to take paracetamol.

I also keep going hot every now and then and a bit light headed, but this could just be a PMS symptom.

Does anyone know what implantation pain feels like and if I could be felt mostly in the back than the front? The pain is mostly to the right side and the middle. X

Mumplanner · 11/07/2018 17:58

@tollie00 I ordered these from Amazon as a way to satisfy my need to test:
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00379DV16/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8
They haven't actually arrived yet so I can't vouch for them, but pretty cheap AND they react to 10mlU!

Mumplanner · 11/07/2018 14:09

@donna474 yes to the insomnia! I was up all night last night - by about 3am, I decided I would go to Tesco when is opened at 6 to get a test (I had run out!) but I fell asleep at about 5:30 after all that 🤦🏻‍♀️ People can tell you that you just need to relax and not worry about it all they want, but as much as I’d like to be that person - I know I just won’t be.

@FSlater those all sound like good signs to me - I’ve been cramping for the last week or so and it’s looking like it’s not AF related. I started testing crazy early too - I just couldn’t wait - I got my first tentative positive on an FRER when all the others were still showing negative.

@DanniFlowers - what type of test did you use? Maybe you could try a more sensitive one?

TheMagicTorch · 11/07/2018 10:51

@TrevorJ The time just goes so slowly doesn't it! I know, thank you - waiting for some FRERs to arrive from Amazon today. Oh yeah I don't blame you, hope you get answers at the weekend

TrevorJ · 11/07/2018 10:37

@TheMagicTorch not long to wait for you now!

TrevorJ · 11/07/2018 10:33

No I'm only 6 or 7 probably 6. Seems to be taking forever. I'm also meant to be diving next week for work so really want to know one way of the other this weekend.
