Anyone just starting the tww?

@flapjackered when are you due on AF? I’m around Saturday I think. I wonder if we are the same?. But my LP is longer so I’m already 12DPO even though I’m 5 days from AF! All negative tests so far though, and have on and off AF cramping so I’m 99% sure I’m out for this month.

Lots of CM is a promising symptom!
I am 9dpo now and time is going so slowlyyyy. I don't know how I am going to hold out until Sunday. No symptoms for me except the usual AF ones, so not looking great. 👎🏻

@FSlater I totally get the seemingly over the top amount of CM! I've had that recently too despite a BFN and no symptoms. Not sure if this is just a new symptom before period. Seem to be getting all the fun symptoms recently

As it stands I am pretty sure I am out anyway as I’ve had bad period pain. And also pain in my cervix? Sorry if TMI.

What I have noticed though and I’ve not noticed before, is (TMI TMI TMIIII) that I’ve had a LOT of CM over the past few days in my underwear and also when I wipe. Is this normal just before a period? I can’t say I’ve noticed it before! X

Thank you @trevorj ! I O’d on CD 17 of a 31 day cycle. I’m now CD 28 so AF should be due the day after CD31 (so 32 for the sake of ease but I know it’s CD1) - meaning it’s 5 days TODAY until my ‘missed period’. So now I feel silly for testing with FRER up until now when really it would only start showing now. I was just panicking because everyone was saying they knew at 10/11DPO etc. but FRER wouldn’t have a chance of picking this up for me yet.

I think everyone should just use me as an example - don’t panic if you read that others have had a BFP by the same DPO as you already. DPO isn’t the only factor here! Your days UNTIL your period are just as important. After all if FRER says it can only pick it up 6 days before tour missed period, then that all it can do. Irrelevant to your DPO.

@Fslater you are 100% right women's lutenal phase (O to AF) tends to remain pretty much the same for each woman cycle to cycle but will vary from 10-16 days between women. The time from AF to O varies both cycle to cycle and woman to woman. 14/14 = 28 is very much an average. I dont O until CD 18/19 of a 30/31 day cycle. Didn't get a faint + until dpo 10.

I’ve just had a thought and I’m hoping you can all help me as you are far more Pro than I am 😂. So today I’m around 11DPO/12dpo - I know by this time lots of people get a faint +ve so I’ve been a bit down that I didn’t get mine this month.

BUT isn’t the dpo individual to all our cycles? I have a 30/31 day cycle. So although I’m 12DPO I’m still not due AF until Saturday. So today would actually be the first day that FRER could even detect for me. Whereas someone with a shorter cycle perhaps would expect it to be picked up at 11DPO because it may only be 4 days before AF?

Is that right? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick and I’m just clinging on to hope 😂.

Did the frer and got my bfp! So happy but worried its a bit faint for 10-11 dpo. Whole new world of worries now!

@tollie00 I would bring him in to what your thinking and worrying. I think its really hard for them to understand but its impossible for them to get it if we don't open up.

@tollie00 - I'd say definitely include DP if you're feeling that way - it's such a hard thing to be going through without that support and there's no reason you should!

Haven't been able to get online much. So happy to see some BFPs! I've had 3 BFNs - 9dpo, 11dpo, and today at 15dpo - AF is late for the first time since I stopped the pill 6 months ago (usually comes like clockwork first thing in the morning on CD25 but nothing still today at CD26 and no cramps). I didn't test with FMU today, had only been about 2 hours (my tests were at work and I couldn't wait this morning to get to work and I couldn't wait to test) so there is a part of me like maaaybe?? but at this point I'm really scraping for any explanation other than my body is having a laugh with me and the witch will show any minute now. It's usually like clockwork and now our first month TTC and she plays tricks!

If anyone can offer advice, I'm wondering if I should include DP in all this. I haven't told him I've been testing, but I'm toying with the idea of saying well my period is late, let's test together in the morning? I just know it will be negative, but I kind of want him to feel the disappointment/confusion/stress as well. Maybe it'll make him more engaged with the trying and I'll feel less anxious?

@FSlater It is gutting when you realise it's another month but I did as @TrevorJ said, and it didn't seem as bad this month - my AF came and although I'm disappointed I'm looking at CD1 as a fresh start, and last month seemed to go quicker as I was a bit more 'in control'

This morning was super faint again. DH wants to do the proper one together so going to do it when he gets home from work. 11 dpo so hoping the frer will show a line or nothing (obviously hoping for a lone if I'm honest) but fed up with squinting at the ICs.

@FSlater I was gutted last month but decided to take more control of it from that point, bought some OPK and decided to follow SMEP, I feel like even if it hasn't worked this morning at least I have learnt stuff. Like I ovulate way later than I thought.

12DPO for me today (I think - cycles are a bit messed up). AF due Thursday so hoping to wait until Saturday to test if AF not shown her face by then... this is going to take some willpower!
I started with sore boobs yesterday and tingly nipples a bit this morning. But I don't know what my 'usual' AF signs are at the moment as this is only my second cycle off the pill. Hope everyone's got their positivity hat on today 😃

Think I’m out this month 😔. 11DPO and such a clear negative on FRER. AF due on Friday. That moment you realise you’re out for a whole month is gutting isn’t it? At least I can stop symptom spotting now haha xx

I caved and took a test at 11DPO- BFN!

I know it's early and I'm not definitely out yet, but I had been hoping for even the faintest of lines to give me hope!

DH says he can see a line too. Really can't get it to photograph at all. I'll test again in the morning and then I'll hopefully confirm later with an frer fx.
