@Ask1984 Ah no I'm so sorry to hear that. I had a chemical two cycles ago and it was really tough.
Can you have the day off? If not, just look forward to getting home and putting your PJs on and chilling with Netflix. Take care, thinking of you x

Ask1984 · 08/08/2018 08:14

@TheMagicTorch
Morning, so I took another first response test this morning and it was a bfn.
Period is not due for another 4 days but think I'm out for the month.
Sad that I got a positive and then a negative...maybe it was a chemical pregnancy 😞 I didn't think I would be this disappointed, feel the need for Netflix, pj's and chocolate and definitely don't feel like going to work today 🙁
Hope you are all well ladies xxx

Ask1984 · 07/08/2018 08:33

@TheMagicTorch
Oh are they! I really hope so, I literally just ordered some more first response tests! Testing early is such a downward spiral...last night I'm was dreaming of getting a positive result 🙈

TheMagicTorch · 07/08/2018 08:28

@Ask1984 oh no sorry about that. The only thing I would say is I have heard that the blue dye clear blue are less sensitive than the FRER pink dye ones. But I don't want to get your hopes up lovely, it's still pretty early so don't count yourself out yet x

Ask1984 · 07/08/2018 08:13

@donna474 @TheMagicTorch @LucyC10
Hey ladies so I did a clear blue one this morning and it was negative, no line at all :( maybe the first response one was just a evap line. I'm really sad, oh well back to the grind 😞
How is everyone else getting along?

LucyC10 · 06/08/2018 20:21

@donna474 it’s definitely better to wait if you are able to - I never am 🙈 I’d say 12DPO is ok - especially if you’re using an FRER - but it does depend if you’d want to know if you had a chemical pregnancy too

Ask1984 · 06/08/2018 18:59

@TheMagicTorch @LucyC10 @donna474
Thanks for the advice ladies! Iv ordered another test so will test on Wednesday morning 🙈 really hoping for a positive!
@LucyC10 I feel your pain! Fingers crossed for you!

@donna474 well done for holding out!

donna474 · 06/08/2018 18:19

I've officially started symptom spotting! Had a slight cramp this morning for a while and convinced myself this must obviously be implantation pains 🤦🏼‍♀️ will be 12 dpo on Saturday. Is this too early to test?

LucyC10 · 06/08/2018 17:53

I agree with @TheMagicTorch - if you do one first thing tomorrow - it should hopefully show up stronger with FMU and an extra couple of days 🤞🏻

I am 3DPO and my insane symptom spotting is well and truly underway 🙈

TheMagicTorch · 06/08/2018 13:00

@Ask1984 I'd definitely say do one with FMU and see! (Assuming that one wasn't FMU if you were tipsy) 🙈
Should give a stronger result if it is a BFP!

Ask1984 · 06/08/2018 11:34

@TheMagicTorch @donna474 @LucyC10
Omg really? I think so too but to scared to do another test...I'm 8dpo I think
I'm going to keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Do you think I should do another test? I did this one slightly tipsy 🙈
How's everyone else getting along?

TheMagicTorch · 06/08/2018 10:28

@donna474 exactly! 😂 I'll be happy to give it up for a healthy pregnancy once I find out, but I'll be damned if I spend money on it to not be able to drink it! Or even worse watch DP drink my favourite!
🤞🏽🤞🏽 for us both this weekend!

donna474 · 06/08/2018 10:08

@Ask1984 I can see a very faint line if I tilt my screen left and right!

donna474 · 06/08/2018 10:08

@TheMagicTorch ha! That's always my reasoning behind testing before AF is due, don't want to be drinking when I shouldn't or waste money buying it!

LucyC10 · 06/08/2018 09:22

Hi @Ask1984 👋 I can definitely see a very faint line! How many days post ovulation are you?

TheMagicTorch · 06/08/2018 09:22

@donna474 Ahh lovely - hope you managed to keep cool.
🤞🏽 for Saturday, my AF is due Saturday think I'm going to test Friday as we're away for the weekend and I don't want to buy prosecco to find out I cant drink it!

TheMagicTorch · 06/08/2018 09:21

@Ask1984 I think I can see a very faint line! 🤞🏽 How many DPO are you?

Ask1984 · 06/08/2018 09:02

Hi ladies can I join please?
Got my fingers crossed for all our journeys 🤞🏽 lots and lots of baby dust for everyone!
Quick question can anyone see a faint line here or am I going nuts/cross eyed?

Anyone just starting the tww?
donna474 · 03/08/2018 19:00

@TheMagicTorch I'm loving it thanks except for the 34 degree heat and two very hot stepdaughters! Thank god they let you buy a beer as long as you buy an ice cream! Planning on testing next Saturday as will be out for drinks in the evening

TheMagicTorch · 03/08/2018 18:40

@donna474 wow! That's a great distraction! Are you enjoying it?

I'm only 6dpo 😭 this cycle seems to be dragging. Hope it's the one! I think it's our best timing wise since our chemical. Will be testing next Friday

donna474 · 03/08/2018 18:03

I'm 4 dpo and in Disneyland so very easily distracted right now!

LucyC10 · 02/08/2018 23:32

Finally got a positive on my OPK - which I guess means the big O will happen tomorrow - and so my TWW begins!
How is everyone coping?

TheMagicTorch · 31/07/2018 19:27

@donna474 I'm not an expert but i think the egg survives 12 hours after ovulation - if it hasn't already been fertilised. Can't do any harm though! 🤞🤞

donna474 · 31/07/2018 11:18

Question... I ovulated yesterday morning (felt it whilst driving to Alton Towers!) did BD last night, would it be worth BDing tonight too or would egg have bypassed any chance of fertilising as past 24 hours?
