@trevorj I have talked myself into testing on Saturday too. Will be 10dpo and using frer. What about you?

@maisypops - everything crossed for you!

Got my fingers crossed for everyone! X

MaisyPops · 09/07/2018 19:55

I'm on cycle 23 now or something like that. Keeping everything crossed ladies.

I've got 4 days left of tww

TrevorJ · 09/07/2018 19:53

@Baz27 I've just ordered myself a lovely case of wine as a consultation prize. Really trying not to test till Saturday!

Bas27 · 09/07/2018 19:48

Wow! Tentative congrats @mumplanner!
How many dpo are you @2018isanewyear? You're not out until the red witch arrives.

I'm on a mere 5dpo and already arguing with myself about when to test.
If this month doesn't pan out then I'm taking a month off next month. Going to a festival and it would be a nice consolation prize to able to let loose. A BFP would be way better though...

Pretty sure this isn't my month.... spots, cramps and just generally don't feel pregnant 🙄 although I don't remember feeling pregnant last time I felt tired and sick and at the moment I feel completely normal!

Never thought I would be desperate to feel so unwell 😂

Charlotte1x · 09/07/2018 19:13

@Mumplanner haha I don’t get it either, people getting pregnant from one night stands, how?! Lol.

Ahh right I bet you’re just fairly early on, do a digital in a few days and I bet you’ll get a positive test. So happy for you, bet it’s such a great feeling!

I’ve got very bad back pain tonight! Could well be AF on her way but my pain is usually in my front and not my back. Really trying not to get my hopes up.

I have 2 FRERs in the cupboard but trying to hold out until my period due date (a week today) but I bet I’ll cave in sooner! Xx

Mumplanner · 09/07/2018 17:50

@Charlotte1x - it’s so hard - I’ve no idea how people just ‘casually’ try and don’t even realise they’re pregnant for a few weeks! I’ve been telling myself not to get my hopes up, but secretly my hopes have been very much up - every twinge and thing that happens seems like it could be a symptom.
The line did show up straight away. I know you said you’d bought a few different tests - this one was a FRER (I’ve done 2 now and both are showing up faint lines). The clearblue ones are still coming up negative

Charlotte1x · 09/07/2018 17:15

@Mumplanner how amazing, my fingers are crossed for you! Did the line come up straight away? It’s not a squinter, definitely there!
I’ve been getting cramps but for some reason mine have been in my lower back which I don’t usually get...definitely period pain type cramps though! So because mine are slightly different too I’m keeping my fingers crossed but trying not to get too hopeful xx

Mumplanner · 09/07/2018 16:45

Thank you Charlotte 😊
This is my first cycle too - so if this is positive then I’m incredibly lucky.
I’ve been experiencing some cramping too but for me it’s felt slightly different than my usual AF cramps - slightly more generalised around my whole lower torso and also aching kidneys - normally for me it is much more localised in my lower tummy.
I’ve done about 15 tests before that have all come up negative (a combination of ClearBlue early tests and Sainsbury’s ones) but I still felt like I could be so I went out and got a First Response one today as they are meant to be the best.
I will be keeping everything crossed that this will be the month for both of us 🤞🏻 Xx

Charlotte1x · 09/07/2018 16:29

Well I definitely see a line there, I bet if you do another in a few days it will have gotten darker! Congrats to you! 💐

I’m ok thanks, only around 7-8DPO. It’s all that’s on my mind at the moment with it being first cycle! I have some cramping pains but I always get period type pains quite a while before I’m due anyway.

How many cycles have you been trying if you don’t mind me asking? Xx

Mumplanner · 09/07/2018 16:21

@charlotte1x I’m not 100% sure as I don’t actually know how long my cycle is. This one started on 14th June, so if I presume that I have a 28 day cycle then I’m on day 25 and about 13DPO? How are you feeling today? Xx

TrevorJ · 09/07/2018 16:09

@Mumplanner yep I see a line. Was that first thing in the morning? Its meant to be stronger then.
Time is absolutely going at a snail pace! And the urge to test is high but nonsensical. So glad I did ovulation testing so I can't trick myself that it might have been early so I could test now ect.

Charlotte1x · 09/07/2018 15:15

Hi @Mumplanner - definitely a line there! Faint, but it’s there. How many DPO are you? Xx

Charlotte1x · 09/07/2018 15:14

Oh my gosh I know exactly what you mean @Bas27 - time is standing still! Trying to plan things to occupy my mind. And it’s funny now little pains etc we don’t really notice but then when we’re TTC we over analyse everything :( it’s a draining process lol x

Mumplanner · 09/07/2018 15:01

Hello ladies. At the risk of being totally self involved - I feel this is the only place I can ask - would you say this is a positive test? Xx

Anyone just starting the tww?
Bas27 · 08/07/2018 18:43

@TrevorJ let's hope karma gives you something back! 🌈🤞

@Charlotte1x I have the same thing but with my boobs! They hurt right from ovulation until af. Only been off the implant for 2 cycles though so I just think my body hasn't quite adjusted yet.
If it doesn't sort itself out soon I will go to the doctors. People say that's why they can't get pregnant but they don't know why. They are just attributing it to something!

I am 4dpo today and I feel like I am on an episode of Bernard's Watch. Time is standing still. Trying to come up with as many distractions as possible. It will be better when I go back to work tomorrow because I don't have time to think when I'm there!!

Thanks @TrevorJ ! Fingers crossed for you x

TrevorJ · 07/07/2018 23:37

@Charlotte1x don't worry its normal to stress, until implantation your body is going through the cycle as normal. Until then it doesn't know if you're pregnant or not. The tww is awful for everyone, you keep second guessing your body. My milestones are protesting Trump's visit on Friday and then I get to test. FX for a bfp.

Charlotte1x · 07/07/2018 21:45

Hi everyone 👋🏼 thought I’d just check in for the day. I’ve been a bit anxious to be honest.

During every cycle I always get mild AF type cramps right after ovulation up until AF arrives. That’s just the norm for me. I’m 6DPO at the moment and I’ve been getting the cramps, more in my back which I don’t usually get.
When I googled this symptom I was reading that having cramps right after ovulation up until AF isn’t entirely normal, and people were seeing Drs about it because they can’t get pregnant etc etc.
Basically I’ve been reading too much into everything and got myself in a right panic. I was thinking, what if there is something wrong with me and I’ve never done anything about it?
Anyway, it seems that it might be more common than I first thought and hopefully nothing to be worried about. I’m not hopeful that my cramps are a pregnancy symptom or implantation pain because I get this every month anyway, so it might actually mean that I’m definitely not pregnant because my body is preparing for AF. I don’t usually get twinges in my back like I have been doing for a couple of days though, so who knows!

Sorry for the rant. I’ve just been a bit anxious and panicky today. TTC can be quite draining can’t it?! And I’m only on cycle 1 🤭 I hate this TWW xx

Mumplanner · 07/07/2018 21:05

@purplestar I’d love a storm too!

Mumplanner · 07/07/2018 21:04

So glad to see that everyone else seems to be going through similar things to me - the constant symptom spotting and obsessing. I’m dreading getting AF now that i’ve Had a few BFNs on early tests - I think it’s going to be a little bit heartbreaking. I agree with @TrevorJ, so frustrating that a lot of PMS symptoms are the same as early pregnancy symptoms. At least after I track this AF I will have more of an idea of the length of my cycle which should help 😊

purplestar9 · 07/07/2018 12:47

Shouldn't complain that meant to say!

purplestar9 · 07/07/2018 12:47

Just checking in for today, how's everyone feeling?
I think I'm 3 DPO but I'm not completely sure because I didn't have any obvious 'signs' of ovulation and I only use my app to track it and as I'm only in cycle 2 off the pill, I'm not convinced I have regulated yet. I think I'll keep in mind that I may still ovulate late so as not to miss our opportunity!
Is anyone else struggling to sleep with the heat we are having at the moment? I know it's summer and I should complain but we could do with a storm to cool off a bit! Haha.
