Hi everyone! Ttc my first! Haven’t had a period since 9th of June, so it’s been over a month since I’ve had one! Took a test on Monday and it said negative, but still having signs like nausea and sensitive nipples and this morning I’ve got a white mucus discharge (sorry tmi) which I’ve never had before! Anyone think I should take another test or wait longer? Thanks x

Don't know which tests its based on but I find the numbers really helpful to dissuade me from testing and detail the likelihood of a false negative.

Anyone else having issues with insomnia. My brain can't seem to switch off and I can't get comfortable. I'm not even thinking about ttc when I'm lying awake, it's just like my body will not allow me to switch off despite being shattered. I've had three nights of this now!

Also, having intermittent really sharp pain in my abdomen. Horrible and quite sharp! Not taking this as a good sign but no idea what’s going on.

So pleased to have found this group. In my first proper TWW and driving myself mad.

26, TTC #1, cycle 2 but really 1

Due on 20/21/22nd.

Think I’m about 6/ 7dpo - had my +ve OPK on Wednesday so that would suggest I o’d On Thursday right? And on Thursday I had ovulation pain, so I’m assuming that was my day?

Anyway I stupidly took a test today, and of COURSE it was BFN. Because I’m 7dpo crazy woman 😂.

Got such bad menstrual cramps though, some of them are reallly low down so I think AF is coming crazy early? Because I’m not due for 10 more days. So I think I’m already out. Have noticed lots more white creamy CM than usual though! (Sorry TMI)

When can I start testing (for reals 😂)? I’m thinking Sunday for FR - as that’ll be around 6 days prior to AF.

Anyone else on a similar timescale to me? Always good to keep each other sane 😂.

@Charlotte1 I know what you mean- no idea if it’s just normal pre-menstrual symptoms that I wouldn’t normally notice if we weren’t TTC! It’s so stressful! Roll on tomorrow morning so I can do another test.....

@MrsT1983 I am also 8DPO and I have the exact same symptoms as you! Very crampy :( My boobs feel a bit heavy but aren’t too sore, but my nipples are! Constantly aware of them against my bra etc, just feel very sensitive. As soon as I tell myself they could be pregnancy symptoms I remember that they could well be AF symptoms :( if we hadn’t been trying for a baby I wouldn’t have even thought twice about it and would just think AF is on her way.

It’s so draining isn’t it! X

I think I'm out had cramps all day and now blood when I wipe will be expecting AF to be in full force tomorrow.

Congratulations @Mumplanner! That’s a very clear line you've got there!
I’m now about 8dpo, got a really faint line yesterday on an IC but think it was probably an evap as I noticed it a while after and this morning’s test was negative. It is still pretty early though so not counting myself out yet! I’ve also been having some stomach and back cramps, sore boobs, weeing a lot and i’m really exhausted last few days, but that could just be down to af being due and the heat, who knows!

This is my second test from yesterday

@TheMagicTorch - I did two FRER's yesterday which is what I had - managed to not go and get any today but I imagine I probably will get another two tomorrow to test again and see if the line is getting stronger.
I downloaded a few new apps yesterday to amuse myself with (pregnancy ones). There's a fun one called Baby Names which is sort of like tinder for names and it tells you if you and your partner match on one x

Agree with @mumplanner -these days are so slow.
I've ordered some FRER from Amazon so probably test Thursday morning (11dpo). Have you done any more tests @mumplanner?x

It’s so hard to know if you’re feeling different things or it’s just you’re more aware of every little thing and you just haven’t noticed it happening before. I’ve seen a few times that implantation cramps feel like a pulling sensation of that helps at all?
I can confirm that coffee after toothpaste is a bit gross though.
I’m now on day 27 of my cycle - I wish I knew how many DPO! Now I wish I’d left the testing longer because I’m only convincing myself that it’s a chemical pregnancy - I can’t win! 😂 x

Hi all - thought I’d check in for the day. I’m now around 8 DPO. Got lots of cramps and boobs are starting to feel a bit heavy. I haven’t got my hopes up at all because I’d usually get these symptoms around this time anyway as AF starts to approach.

Only thing different is that a lot of the cramps are in my lower back/top of my bum, particularly on the right hand side, and the pain is quite sharp sometimes. Maybe I do get these type of pains and just haven’t noticed before?! Who knows. So hard not to symptom spot.

I convinced myself this morning that my coffee tasted weird but I think that was because I had brushed my teeth not long prior 🤣 x

@Bas27 Think I'm going to test Friday, I'll be around 12dpo - I wasn't going to test early this month, but I've decided I'll want to know if we have another chemical.

@Mumplanner congrats!!

I caved today (9dpo) and did a test and got the biggest of fattest of BFNs but it was really just so that I could get some bloody work done today instead of symptom spotting/googling! I think at 9dpo it's 50/50 accurate so I'm feeling pretty neutral. Also is our first month ttc and DP is overly confident of his fertility skills (he's 43, he has a son from a previous relationship whom he conceived first month but that was 10 years ago) so at least a BFN would give him a reality check!

@Bas27 not 100% sure as I don't use OPK yet but have 4 different apps running, since the MC the app I was using went crazy with dates as I couldn't put in that I had been pregnant so it's took it a while to get back to a normal cycle hence the crazy number of apps. According to them tomorrow-Saturday my period should arrive.

I think I will test Friday as if it is positive I have a hotel that needs to be cancelled and that's the last day to do it 😂

@TrevorJ I am also going a FRER on Monday. If AF hasn’t already arrived, I’m getting some pains so feels like she isn’t far away 😟

I'm just going to use the internet cheapies until AF is due, just to satisfy my need tbh. Will use a FRER come Monday or Tuesday. I'll be 9 or 10 too. 10 since positive OPK but probs 9 dpo.
