implantation bleeds and stuff

You do know me, it's just that I don't feel ready to talk about any pg issues openly yet - this soon after my mc I feel uncharacteristically reticent!

Since my last period we suddenly got broody, after having said we'd wait some time. So we did the tests, worked out my dates and did the deed last Saturday.

Now, I am not sure exactly when my last period started, but I would expect my next one to be 14 days after ovulation - surely whatever the length of your cycle, it is always 14 days after ovulation? So a bit of bleeding (stringy brown bits) yesterday - is that an implantation bleed? Is an implantation bleed usually accompanied by lower back period type pains? Or is all this in my head?

Hi nutcracker! I have never caught anyone on line before... Why are you still up at this hour. My eyes are burning and I feel exhausted but I needed my MN fix. What did I ever do with my time before?

Hi Scared stupid, I have emailed Charlie but she hasn't replied. I am a bit worried about her. She has been showing as off line on MSN all day too.

I'm sure she's o.k just me being silly.

Dinner plates...HMMM. Mine are sore today and I thought that was exciting enough but perhaps I should stand in front of the mirror to try to find something odd about the way they look as well.
TLTW/CP3 Are you still there? How are you feeling after the scan yesterday? Did the bath help? How many more sleeps until you do the test?

I have an appt at the hospital re. my miscarriage on Tuesday so I will likely test that morning so as to avoid embarrassing myself when I sound paranoid...

By the time I'm 40 weeks their the size of dinner plates too so I really do have weird ones.

Oooooh really emmatmg. I seem to vaguley remember the same thing happening with Dd2 too.

Well at east I now know i don't have weird nipples. Well either that or emmatmg does too

Those tests can't come soon enough.

Hello all, am back to feeling panicked today. Don't really have any symptoms, just feel a bit weird and dizzy. Oh and my boobs look werid

I am still here but generally I can only post in the evening as DH has the laptop all day. Sorry to hear that they couldn't tell if you were pg at the scan, CP3 and sorry that you appear to have pg brain as well.
Maybe we should consider 'outing yourself' by accident proof-positive itself? My fingers are crossed for you.

MummyD welcome to the club. Fingers crossed for you. Many babies follow on the heals of early negative tests--including our ds2. Are you on the TTC thread?

OH MY! I very nearly hit 'Post Message' with my usual nickname and password in place... I am soon to out myself as well. Sore boobs today. Could be AF on the way though. Too soon for me to feel unwell.

I've just got back from Asda and i was very good and didn't buy a test. My friend was dying for me to get one as if i'm pregnant she'll be going to college on her own, but i resisted.

Wish i'd brought one now.

... bliss - I will miss the excitement of collecting in 540 pieces of coursework from squirmy teenagers and overworked colleagues, marking, moderating, sampling and sending off. Hadn't thought of that. Thanks for cheering me up!
