@RedRobin7 really it seems to help mine

RedRobin7 · 15/07/2018 17:53

@Boboelephant @Mistymeow Keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞

@Lilimum4 Ouch! Burnt bum sounds painful. I have horrendous acne which is even harder to deal with whilst I'm hating my body for letting me down. My facialist would kill me if I went on a sunbed lol!

KnitKitty · 15/07/2018 17:44

Boboelephant, Cakelaur Looking again there is something that keeps catching my eye too, but don't know if it's just where the line is supposed to show when positive, can't tell if there's any colour there or not.

Lilimum4 · 15/07/2018 17:34

*Thong not thing this new phone is doing my head in

KnitKitty · 15/07/2018 17:34

Definitely something there Mistymeow

Yeah, Boboelephant not anything to write home about yet. Still feeling hopeful for you. xxx

Lilimum4 · 15/07/2018 17:29

OK so you ladies have to promise not to laugh.
I suffer from acne and I use the sun beds to help my skin, so I though it might be a bit cute to have a thing mark ( you know a little bit sexy cute) for when DH gets back next week. So I doubled up ony time because I'm working all week and can't go again this week but I burnt my bum lol I really am an airhead Blush

sweetpea0318 · 15/07/2018 16:48

@boboelephant @mistymeow good luck ladies! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Boboelephant · 15/07/2018 16:30

Thanks @Cakelaur and @YellowDaffodils86. I know it's a long shot as the test is pretty white! I know what you mean though @cake every time I am 100% convinced there's nothing something catches my eye. I think it's probably me hallucinating from the intense concentration of staring at it! Anyhow I've gone and bought some cheaper Morrisons tests and if no AF in the morning I'll use them so I don't waste my last frer. Keep everything crossed for me ladies!!

Cakelaur · 15/07/2018 15:50

@Mistymeow there defo something on that test. Eek!!! Can't wait to see what the next couple of days bring.

@Boboelephant I want to agree with you but then something keeps catching my eye. So for now to save false hopes, we'll say it's negative. But I'm hopeful that I'm wrong. Eek 🤞🏻🤞🏻

YellowDaffodils86 · 15/07/2018 15:19

@Mistymeow i will be interested to see what you get in a day or two, im pretty sure there is something there! 🤞
@Boboelephant Iv just scrutinised your test hoping i found something, but your right. Its pretty white! Not over yet, and you have had some pretty positive symptoms this month!! Still hoping and 🤞for you...not out till af and all that!

Boboelephant · 15/07/2018 14:42

@Mistymeow I will stay quietly confident for you whilst you are cautious. I think for an IC before af is due that's a definite line but I understand not wanting to get your hopes up. My test looks even whiter now!
@Lilimum4 haha no worries hun, I knew what you meant!

OP posts:
Lilimum4 · 15/07/2018 13:58

@Boboelephant lol I just reread my comment and hope you realised I ment bfp not bfn I should really check before I hit post

Mistymeow · 15/07/2018 13:47

Haha well ok ive fished it from the bin as requested. It's a bit bent and I can see it's developed an evap line directly below the control line, and my squinter below that looks like its little grey friend! I'm fairly confident this isn't my month. For me that's an evap on my test.

Boboelephant · 15/07/2018 13:37

Haha you all made me laugh out loud!
Ok I will put up picture just so you can see how white it is. Although I totally admit to inverting it on FF several times and at one point was convinced I saw something. DH disagreed! 😂
@Cakelaur hahahaha I guarantee you it is not because I am a cheap date, don't forget I'm an Aussie!
@Lilimum4 and @hayleyfx ah thankyou! God I hope so!!!!!
@KnitKitty 'Sickness is very suspicious Bobo....' 😂😂😂😂 I'm crying over this! 🤣

Fingers tightly crossed for you Boboelephant and Mistymeow, I would also like to see these tests. Sickness is very suspicious Bobo....

hayleyfx · 15/07/2018 13:10

@Mistymeow you should definitely go grab the test from the bin!

@Boboelephant that sounds so promising! I’m keeping everything crossed for you. Definitely still in with a chance 🤞

Lilimum4 · 15/07/2018 13:00

@Boboelephant omg it sounds like a bfn might be in your very near future everything you said today sounds like pregnancy. I'm keeping my fx for you lovely

Cakelaur · 15/07/2018 13:00

@Mistymeow defo fish it out the bin!!!
@Boboelephant I feel like we should double check your test too! Fresh eyes and all that. I don't remember feeling too rubbish after drinking (but I was quite a big drinker) OH and I would often polish of a bottle of wine with dinner (every night) 🙈 I tried to cut down, but ttc made me NEED wine! I did however wake up several morning after my bfp feeling hungover in general (obviously no alcohol consumed). Most mornings in the first trimester I was mega groggy. So this could be it @Boboelephant eek! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Boboelephant · 15/07/2018 11:49

@Mistymeow oh my gosh! Go and fish it out of the bin!

OP posts:
Boboelephant · 15/07/2018 11:48

@fnej01 glad you're feeling more positive and got your negative test. Spa night sounds lovely. You're right, it's really important to be kind to yourself and DH- not just treat them like a sex robot! 😂 also to do nice things and enjoy other aspects of life.
@Cakelaur thanks hun. Fx! Random question for you. I know you drunk though the tww and had a few the night before you got your bfp when you thought you were out. Do you remember feeling worse after drinking than usual? I had a couple of wines last night, nothing excessive and not late to bed, but today I feel like I had a massive party! I have already been sick, feel like I could be again and feel all hot and dizzy. It's very weird!

OP posts:
Mistymeow · 15/07/2018 11:24

I actually caved and took an ic test (first time I've used one if those, the Amazon ones). It was a bit weird. I thought it might be a squinter but I convinced myself it was a crease in the test and didn't bother with a picture. Hmm. I think I better wait until Tuesday as planned!

Hugs to those of you recovering from your miscarriages, you are all in my thoughts xx

Cakelaur · 15/07/2018 11:16

@Boboelephant I tested at 12dpo and then didn't test 13 or 14. But 15dpo was mega mega faint. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

fnej01 · 15/07/2018 10:52

Hi all, I can't keep up with all of the messages, but sending love and hugs to all those that need it.
I am just 3 weeks since miscarriage, and am feeling a lot more positive today. OH and I have been for a cheeky spa night away. Which apart from me needing a little cry at one point has been great, it was a nice cathartic cry. Finally got a negative pregnancy test which feels like a key milestone. And great to be back dtd. Finally starting to feel more like me again and reconnected. I'm sure there will be plenty of ups and downs ahead. Next milestone AF.
I just wanted to share how important it is to look after yourself and be kind to yourself and OH. Sending hugs to all.
Wishing you all a nice weekend xx

Boboelephant · 15/07/2018 10:25

@Lilimum4 thanks hun. Sorting the house out for parents arriving this week and running through the sprinkler with DS are my plans!
@Mistymeow thanks cycle buddy! Hope you have good news on Tuesday! I'm usually good at holding off but terrible this month.
@InDreamland you're definitely not a useless failure and we have all felt like you are feeling now. It will get better. It sounds like your body is starting to let go so things are heading in the right direction. Just be kind to yourself, allow it to happen and don't pressure yourself to do anything that you don't feel ready for. Church will be there for you when you're ready to go back. For now just take care of yourself.
@ KnitKitty awww thanks ❤❤ Woohoo for morning JKS! Now you can go forward with your day feeling accomplished! 😂 I have EVERYTHING crossed for you.
@Cakelaur thanks love. As much as I am telling myself it's over I am desperately hoping it's just a late implanter! I do keep reminding myself you got yours at 15dpo, although you didn't actually test the few days before that did you? Fx it's my miracle!!! I'll be so gutted if it's just a random long LP though and then af comes.
@Blondcat well done on holding off too. Good luck for Tuesday!

@indreamland I've been meaning to say to you that me and dh also have been trying for years. We have watched all of our friends have babies pretty much on their first attempt. When we fell pregnant this year we were absolutely overjoyed. I felt at peace, complete. The mmc found at 9weeks 4 days absolutely devastated us. It felt particularly cruel and I found the whole post miscarriage experience lonely. Three months on and I can honestly say I feel much better. I think what is keeping me going is the fact that we actually did it. Which means we can do it again. There is no evidence to suggest that a second pregnancy will end in miscarriage so I'm just focusing on moving forwards with complete faith that it can happen for us. I hope this reassures you a little, give yourself time to grieve xx
