@Llondbol welcome back Smile I know what you mean, I feel like so many of the original people I joined with have moved on now with BFPs so although I'm obviously happy for them as it gives me hope, it also stings a bit and I feel like I'm being left behind. Hugs and hope you're feeling a bit better in yourself Flowers

Boboelephant · 03/07/2018 09:11

@Llondbol welcome back. It can be hard I know! Often feel like the old cheese here as so many people come and go and I seem to stay! Hopefully it's our turn soon.
@HidCat can you post your chart??
@fnej01 hope work goes ok.
@Funkyemzie sorry af arrived.
@PurpleFushia go get some tests!
Who else is testing this week???

hellotoyellow · 03/07/2018 09:11

@Hindcat congrats!

@Llondbol hello! I keep on dropping off for similar reasons - trying one more month than you and all I have to show for it is one more MC. It's hard to keep cheery. Fingers crossed and baby dust Flowers

strawberrye · 03/07/2018 09:11

@HidCat congratulations, I'm glad one of us cycle twins got lucky this month. I just wish both of us could be lucky! I had another huge temp drop this morning so I think I'm not going to be as lucky as you. If AF doesn't show up by tomorrow I'll test again though, she's due today and my temps are pretty consistent with previous cycles so I think I know how this is going to pan out.

Funkyemzie · 03/07/2018 08:51

Yes @PurpleFushia go get some tests! Be good to test before you go then u know either way. Fingers crossed for you babe. X

I'm officially out this month, 14dpo, I never get to this point, normally 12dpo is the latest and temp still up, however, af has arrived in her full force this morning...my back is in pieces!!! Maybe just the weather with the high temps?

Going to start with the OPK's as soon as AF finishes this cycle so we don't miss ovulation this month. @Llondbol it will be our time soon, my MC was feb/mar, it will happen, sending positive hugs.

@Hidcat how often did u dtd in fw? Going to try SMEP this time, just need to catch ovulation. 😂

fnej01 · 03/07/2018 08:48

Congratulations to all of those with BFPs. Fills me with hope.

I am back to work today, 1 week post miscarriage. Looking forward to get back into a routine, but hoping I can hold my sh&t down, as still a bit emotional.

Wishing you all a good day and baby dust

X

PurpleFushia · 03/07/2018 08:29

Congratulations @HidCat fantastic news!

Good luck at the clinic today @TinyPaws !

8dpo today and not sure anything is happening really - some cramps the last couple of days but nothing else, and feel a bit better today. Trying to decide whether to buy tests - used all mine up after MC. Probably should get some today or tomorrow if I'm going to though, as after that I won't get a chance around work and then we're off on holiday! A part of me would like to just wait and see if AF comes... I think a few of us are in the 7-8-9dpo time, is anyone planning to test early?

Laney79 · 03/07/2018 08:28

Amazing news @HidCat congratulations!!! X

Blondcat · 03/07/2018 08:26

@hidcat woo hoo congratulations fx for a sticky bean.

@funkyemzie that is a bit low for your friend to use the name without asking.

@tinypaws good luck today

Welcome newbies and sorry you find yourselves here.

Think I am due to ov today and not yet managed to dtd this fw so bit frustrated. Oh well at least I can relax in the tww and look forward to next cycle hopefully less stressed and healthier.

Fx for all testing soon.

Funkyemzie · 03/07/2018 08:24

Just checking in ladies!

@HidCat amazing, massive congrats. Everything crossed for you that it’s a sticky bean 🤞

@Lovemysparkle so nice to see that you got your BFP. Come join us on the other thread whenever you feel ready, I hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy 😊

Fingers crossed there’s lots more good news this month. Good luck to everyone in FW and TWW!

HidCat · 03/07/2018 07:44

@weasledee 11dpo. Had a few symptoms that were unusual for me but almost didn't test as I had a massive temp drop this morning! As in back to pre-ovulation temps. It was at a different time and I'd woken up an hour earlier though so I talked myself into testing as the feeling sick at thought of chocolate last night was very strange for me (but of a chocoholic lol). Just got to hope this one sticks. 🤞

TinyPaws · 03/07/2018 07:41

@Pampl3m0usse I hope you're feeling better, that is a LOT to have to deal with.

@Funkyemzie I can't believe she used them name! At best that's really insensitive!

@Hidcat Congratulations!

I'm off to the clinic this morning for a scan to see if I've managed to grow some follicles. Fingers crossed for a good follicle or two (but not more than three or cycle will be cancelled!)

weasledee · 03/07/2018 07:36

Hidcat that's great news!!! How many DPO are you??? Congratulations Smile

Anyday88 · 03/07/2018 07:29

Amazing @HidCat!! Fantastic news!!

HidCat · 03/07/2018 07:20

@Boboelephant I had a huge temp drop this morning and sat there with a pot of pee debating whether or not to bother. So glad I did!

HidCat · 03/07/2018 06:21

@Funkyemzie I'm so sorry, it's very inconsiderate of her. I think when you've not had to try or go through Loss you don't understand the magnitude of things like that. Hope you're ok this morning.

Boboelephant · 03/07/2018 06:20

@Lovemysparkle haha Nun Sparkle. 😂 I can't even imagine but it will all be worth it for baby sparkle!
@HidCat are you awake?? Any news??? 🤞🤞
@Laney79 I hope you do ovulate early and enjoy your posh bonk! Although as @zarala says do it anyway as jks is a way of life- not just for fw! 😂 not to be a Debbie downer but are you sure it was ewcm and not sperm? They look remarkably the same. Although fx it was ewcm and fw is starting! You may not get a positive opk for a few days, I get EWCM for 6 days before a positive- but it does mean you're fertile! 👍
@Funkyemzie oh I'm so sorry. This is tricky as I don't want to say anything bad about your friend but stealing your name was bang out of order! I would be furious. Especially as she didn't tell you or ask if you minded- of course you will go on to need a baby name! I hope you got some sleep and feel better this morning but you're definitely not being silly.

So I've been talking to my best friend tonight. She knows what's happened earlier this year because we talk about everything. She's just given birth to a beautiful little girl and has called her the name that me and DP were going to chose had we not lost the baby. She knew the names we chose as I was discussing them with her.

She told me that it was such a lovely name not to use it. Almost as if she was saying "well you're never going to need it". Anyway we kept chatting and we got talking about ttc,. I asked her what she did, temping, OPK's etc, thinking it took her ages because we were talking about it this time last year and assumed it must have taken her a while.

Her reply was that she talked to her other half about it a couple of months later, got very drunk and they conceived that night. Wtf!!!!!

I'm so pleased for her that she hasn't had to go through anything like this but equally I want to punch her square in the face for everything she's told me about tonight. Especially the name.

Sorry, I'm being silly about the name but I feel like she's stolen it from me even though we lost the baby. I'm just having a vent and feeling so useless and sad. 😢

dreaminofholidays · 03/07/2018 00:19

@laney79 sending baby dust for your posh bonk. Have a lovely time x

@hidcat sending positive thoughts for your test tomorrow. Keep us posted and I have no idea how you have managed to hold off until now, serious will power!

@@lovemysparkle what lovely news, very happy for you and your family.

@pampl3m0use sorry to hear you've had such a horrendous time. I hope things are on the up xx

Laney79 · 02/07/2018 23:42

Sorry for being a bit behind-off on jollies with my fella seeing friends in Brighton before our posh hotel stay win in Richmond. Depending on when I take AF as starting (initial gush, or full on flow day) then I'm either cd8 or cd10...last month had positive Opk cd13 and 14...my opk today was negative but I've had lots of ewcm (and I mean loads!) admittedly we've bd'd twice today as were on hols and in the mood but that wouldn't affect things would it? Wondering if I might ovulate really early perhaps? Will do an opk tomorrow morn and see what it shows. Would be great if I did o early as we have the fab hotel tomorrow and my fella is looking forward to his "posh bonk"!!!
