Very strange @sunshine91 I've not used them so can't really advise, but remember that theory about twins? 😂 maybe your levels are stronger.. I don't know how accurate they are x

Sunshine91 · 14/07/2018 18:38

Does anyone know how accurate clear blue tests are that tell you how many weeks you are?

I did one on Monday that said 2-3 weeks since conception which seemed accurate as I was 4 weeks on Tuesday. Just did the other one from the pack now, for the sake of it really, and it said 3+ but surely it shouldnt have said that until at least Tues... If that makes any sense 🙈

scarlettrouge · 14/07/2018 16:24

I couldn’t wait when my little package of cheap hcg strips arrived. Unfortunately it was bfn. Will test again in am Grin

KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 14/07/2018 15:59

Thanks all, that's really reassuring.

I'm having a terrible day. Have mislaid my car/house keys. Had tickets to go to an event which we have no missed and the kids are cross! And to add insult to injury I bought myself a keyring the other day that's a bird, which you attach to your keys and it sits in a bird house which you mount on the wall......all in an attempt to stop me losing my keys- I go it that often. Said keyring and bird house are sat in the hall way staring at me......without the keys because I never got round to putting the keyring on my keys.

MissMini · 14/07/2018 14:29

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe dtd once is all it takes sometimes, like @Kee80 I didn’t get my positive until 3 days before either.

@Anyday88 how exciting about your scan! Is that an early one? I’m not due mine til start of Sept but tempted to book a private one before.

We told our parents today, making it all seem very real!

Anyday88 · 14/07/2018 14:02

Hi @Kee80 @TheMagicTorch @MissMini @KissMeLikeYouMissMe

I'm doing ok, helps to focus on my other two babies to take my mind off it! I'm trying to stay positive and the statistics say it's not that often it happens twice in a row but 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just had my letter for my scan on the 9th August so I go away on the 28th for a week and then the week I am back will be my scan so that's good!

How are you all doing?

Kee80 · 14/07/2018 13:00

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe don't give up yet. I didn't get my positive till 3 days before period was due! Also we didn't dtd much this cycle either.
Only did it 3 and 2 days before ovulation during my fertile week.
🤞🤞

Did a cheap Internet test this morning but got nothing. Think it's still too soon to tell as I'm not due on for a week. Just keeping everything crossed- not sure we dtd enough so might have to up our game next month. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for everyone!x

TheMagicTorch · 14/07/2018 10:29

@Anyday88 how are you doing today? Keeping everything crossed for a happy healthy 9m for you!

12dpo for me today and another stark white FRER so thinking this month isn't our time. Disappointed after our CP last month and using conceive plus, opks and SMEP this month. Ahhh never mind always next month.
So pleased for all the BFPs so far!!

Kee80 · 14/07/2018 10:16

Morning ladies how are you all anymore BFP?

@Anyday88 your doing amazing ❤️

OP posts:
KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 13/07/2018 23:34

keeping everything crossed for you Anyday!

Just waiting patiently to do an early test next week. I have been so tired so I really hope that's a good sign, but it could just been that I'm knackered from work- I work term time only and broke up last week so might just be my brain telling me to take it easy. I'm rediculously bloated too.

MissMini · 13/07/2018 22:38

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe that’s so nice, bet they will be great helpers!

@Anyday88 I hope everything is ok for you this time. I just feel bloated and a bit emotional! How are you today?

scarlettrouge · 13/07/2018 21:19

im so excited for you all getting BFPs!

i had my coil out on june14th, during AF so this is our first cycle for #3 but AF hasnt arrived yet this month, im waiting til monday, but feeling inspired by all these 2 line sticks im seeing!

Anyday88 · 13/07/2018 20:56

So today is the exact point in my last pregnancy that I started to misscarry, so far so good today and trying to stay positive.

How is everyone feeling?

KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 13/07/2018 19:42

Missmini kids are 10 & 11. We sat down as a family and the kids would love a little brother or sister so they're on board. It's just a bit scary that we are potentially going back to the beginning as the kids are pretty self sufficient now Grin

MissMini · 13/07/2018 19:03

@Kee80 there’s a few at my practice like that, I worked out the days of the week they’re there and try and a for another day!

Kee80 · 13/07/2018 17:21

@MissMini I know. Really didn't like that doctor at all. Also told him about water infection that keeps coming and going.
Just said mmmmmm do you want to do a urine sample!!
Well... YES obviously

OP posts:
MissMini · 13/07/2018 15:43

@Kee80 That is rubbish. Sometimes you just have to persist with them before they listen - you know yourself better than they do so follow your gut.

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe no this is my first, I spoke to my specialist before I was TTC he says it goes one of 3 ways, it gets worse, it stays the same or it gets better in some cases. Mine seems to be getting worse but it could just be a flare. I will give it a few days and if it doesn’t settle I’ll call my specialist. Everything I’ve read says being tired is one of the first symptoms you get so 🤞🏻. What age are your kids?

KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 13/07/2018 15:16

Missmini I have IBD, Have you been through a pregnancy with colitis before, I've been a bit worried about how it will effect my problems if I do get pg? Didn't have it with my last 2 pregnancies but they were over 10 years ago.

All I can do at the moment is sleep- I'm hoping that's a good sign. If I'm not then I'm going to go to the dr abd get my bloods checked because I'm exhausted.

Kee80 · 13/07/2018 14:50

Thanks ladies. The doctor I saw today was basically rubbish, looking at me like I was crazy!

Think what I'll do is see another doctor when I'm around 6weeks and ask if I can go for an early scan or see the midwife earlier!

If not then I'll have to get a private scan

OP posts:
TheMagicTorch · 13/07/2018 14:08

@kee80 @KissMeLikeYouMissMe Yeah we looked at the Babybond ones which you can get done in Mothercares around the country - they do them from 6 weeks for about £80 if it would give you peace of mind - we'll be getting one I think. Especially when you are TTC and can find out so early!

MissMini · 13/07/2018 13:55

@seastargirl sorry about AF, fingers crossed for you next month.

@Kee80 I feel a bit bloated and have been having some weird cramps, I have colitis which is playing up the last week so some of it could be that my boobs are really sore and DP thinks they already look bigger. Maybe look at an early scan to put your mind at rest? It’s natural to be worried after MC.

KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 13/07/2018 12:25

meant to say not due on till Friday.....so a week away. It's way too soon to tell but I just want to be so badly!

KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 13/07/2018 11:15

Kee80 have you thought about booking a private scan. They do them in my city from 6 weeks and they only cost £70/80 which I don't think is too bad. Used to work for a private health insurance company and the prices they charged us were often 5x's that.

Sunshine91 · 13/07/2018 11:00

@kee80 Really this is my first time trying so I have no experience but I rang the doctors on Tues and they booked me in with the midwife for 25th July when I will be 6 weeks. Then I've booked a private scan for 7th August when I will be 8 weeks. I'm sure everything will be fine for you 🤞🏻try not to worry x
