Trying for baby 😢

Hi girls, just needed to get this out and hoping (although wishing we weren't!) that someone else feels the same and it isn't just me. Anyone else finding days like today, Father's Day, really difficult? We've been trying for 6 months with no luck yet, and days like today just feel hard. Wishing it was our turn, just want to experience that kind of love like I see my friends and others posting of their partners and their little ones 😢 There's just something missing for us 😢

Hi hope this help keeps your hopes up, I have PCOS went a year without periods then irregular/missing several months at a time. I conceived my first when I didn't have a period the two months before, currently 9 weeks with my second. It does happen, really hope it does for you all soon x

toadabode · 11/12/2018 12:14

Hearing this makes me feel so fortunate as we conceived after just a few days of trying! Though 6 months isn't long to be trying I know that to me it would feel like a lifetime. I really hope you get your bfp soon

Ohrobin · 10/12/2018 21:59

Hi anon I posted previously under another name but still here too cycle 12 for me too. I've also been diagnosed with pcos and on metformin to try and help. Has your doctor suggested anything to help in the meantime. Got to go back to doctors to get referred for sperm test now I think is next. Baby dust to you all! This online support is helpful. None of my friends truly understand I don't think (I'm the first one to be trying)

As awful as it is, it's nice to know that we aren't alone ❤️ Sending lots of love and good luck xxx

Hey @anon20something looks like we are on a similar time frame, December marks my 12th cycle TTC #1, I also miscarried in this time and my due date is coming up next week which I am absolutely dreading but me and OH have booked to go out for dinner to take our minds off it. I’ve also got my first appointment with my GP on that morning to kick start some tests as we’ve been trying for pretty much a whole year now.

SIL just announced her pregnancy and is due in June. Me and OH (it’s his brothers wife) are devastated and jealous. It’s hard for us to feel happy for them right now.

Love and light, I really hope it happens for us soon x

Anon20something · 06/12/2018 20:03

You have no idea how much that message means to me ❤️ Thank you. I'll be thinking of you and hoping to hear some good news soon, wishing you lots of luck and baby dust! X

Bless you @Anon20something. We have been trying for almost a year now and it hasn't happened for us (afaik, I haven't been pregnant once). It is so very hard, particularly when family, friends and acquaintances all seem to be announcing second or third pregnancies all the time at the minute - just wanted to say you aren't alone, and I hope that things work out for you and your DP x

Anon20something · 06/12/2018 18:59

Still here, still TTC 😭 Kinda just need somewhere to rant/talk to someone who just gets it! This is so so hard 😭 My heart actually hurts at how much I long for our baby, yet it just isn't happening. I've been diagnosed with PCOS but the drs won't refer me for help until my partners sperm test is back. Why does everything just take so so long!! No periods in a year either! I just need someone to help us get the ball rolling! Sorry for the rant, I know I sound like a crazy person, and I know you are all on your own journies with TTC and so many couples are struggling (my heart is with you) but just this is so so hard 😭

I feel your pain. Been trying for a year now and I lost a baby in late December, a couple of days later a workmate announced her pregnancy (she didn't know about my mc). She has just gone on maternity leave after a lovely work baby shower and here I am, still not pregnant when I should have been giving birth in August too. Sometimes you're allowed to be a little jealous, it's only natural x

Anon20something · 21/07/2018 23:15

Thank you 😘 It's nice to have a place to talk and your message has given me a little boost and I really appreciate it xxx

I'm sorry @Anon20something ... I know that's really tough. I hope you are ok and I recommend a good cry and loads of ice cream Thanks

Anon20something · 21/07/2018 22:48

I'm not sure if the site moved my OP to conception topic, but just an update - 1 missed MC later and still trying, tonight has been hard as my best friend announced her pregnancy and although I'm over the moon I feel so guilty feeling sad at the same time! I've been thinking of you ladies a lot and hoping for some good news xxx

I know you feel it won't happen because you have been trying for what seems like a long time. But 6 months is not song time in the grand scheme of things. I have friends who had IVF twins and then 3 years later a dd naturally. I don't know how old you are but not time to give up yet. Easy to say but a lot of us have had problems and I now have 2 DC.

Jamahi · 18/06/2018 20:01

I found yesterday really tough. So many Facebook status's saying what wonderful dads their partners make. I feel guilty that I can't do that to my husband. It's my 'fault' we haven't conceived yet so I can't help but feel sad that I can't make him a daddy too. He's wanted children for as long as we've been together (14 years) I wasn't ready until around 4 years ago (finishing uni, getting married etc) and now I feel bad for making him wait before we tried. Mid way through ivf treatment so praying it works this time. Sympathy for all those who struggled yesterdayThanks

lorraddu · 18/06/2018 19:51

I can relate. Such days like this one are really sad for me and my dh. Especially seeing others with children everywhere. Seeing all those posts on facebook… It's not fair at all. Some of us here desperate for a baby. Meanwhile others don't want them or don't plan to have them. It's just happen. I don't know what to say except "LIFE'S SUCKS". The only thing we can do is try to relax. And don't put things in mind that can stress you out or even mentally disturb you. Ignore things outside and focus on you to conceive. I wish you the best. Hopefully each of us will have BFP. Take care.

Agree 100000% with everything @nonotheresnolyrics. It can be a tough old road. Better to steel yourself early.

NoNotheresnolyrics · 18/06/2018 08:02

Anon20something I don’t think you’ve upset anyone 😊 hope you conceive soon, keep us updated 😊 xxx

Anon20something · 18/06/2018 07:44

I'm sorry for posting this in the wrong area, I only joined the site yesterday to get this out and find a little support... I'm sorry to those I upset 😘 Xxx

NoNotheresnolyrics · 18/06/2018 06:24

I don’t think people are making snarky comments and trying to be mean. I think they are being realistic. If you are upset now after only 6 months how are you going to feel after a year, two years, a miscarriage, ectopic, stillbirth? You posted this originally in the infertility page, you don’t know that you are infertile yet, chances are you’ll be just fine. But you need to be a little stronger now as TTC can be a tough long road!

MyDcAreMarvel · 17/06/2018 21:58

Sorry +6 hcg on a frer.

MyDcAreMarvel · 17/06/2018 21:58

Frer - first response early result , I think you would get a positive tomorrow on a frer if you were pregnant. A frer shows positive at +hcg a clear blue digital at + 25 hcg

babyboo87 · 17/06/2018 21:55

my period is due tomorrow though so I thought it isn't early..but if implantation happened on thurs/Fri (when spotting) could it be 2 soon to test?
