🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

A thread for all those who have suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately know as the penguin huddle.

We'll start with a roll call as there have been so many new members lately and so many success stories that I think we've all lost track.

Thank you for all of the kind wishes.

I really needed it ... BFN this morning at 10dpo but I'm pretty sure I'm out anyway (acne and sobby - the latter might just be down to work though!). Anyday88 looks like we'll be near cycle buddies next cycle.

Lovely to see so many of you trying for number three and four!

xxxxx

@Yukka thank you for the none judging!
Yes, it’s used primarily for delay but I’ve been using it for months (as recommended by gynae) to try and regulate every month without having BC. I have taken every month from day 20-30 which induced AF day 33/34. I don’t know what my “natural” cycle is because the first time I would’ve had one we conceived 😳

MMC back in February at 8 weeks
On cycle 4 but not sure how accurate that is as didn't pass any tissue until the end of April nearly 8 weeks after MC, despite AF being reasonably regular after MC Confused

Trying not to be obsessive with ovulation and baby making and glad I have this for some support, thanks@HidCat Thanks

MC at 13 weeks in April -baby passed at 9 weeks. Natural miscarriage hence reason for long delay in waiting for baby to come out x Found out baby had no heartbeat at 11 weeks x

CD12 after first AF after MC.
Flashy smiley face on digital OPK for three days now . Baby dance at CD9 & CD10. Hoping for a baby dance tonight but DH , although on board, is very worried about another MC and FIL is very ill so mind elsewhere...
Fx for all on this thread for BFP's xx

Yukka · 08/06/2018 23:07

@littleemma nothing to judge you for :) just googled that drug looks like it's supposed to delay period which I guess might not be ideal for first after mc. But, you were 5w, my first two at 5 weeks next cycle was practically unaffected both times, maybe 2 days out but not weeks. We are all different but could be worth waiting. If af arrived in two weeks you would then be jks for honeymoon?!

Depends on your cycle x

littleemma1 · 08/06/2018 22:55

@Yukka 07th July so less than a month to go!!!
Shouldve said (dont judge though, Im eager to get back on it now I know its possible) just over 2 weeks since it started (23rd May) and stopped bleeding 28th May so not long ago.

I am tempted, I think I might have to work out dates again just to be sure as I really dont want to fill my body with any more hormones, particularly Nortiserone if I can help it as I think thats what caused the miscarriage, the severe/sudden drop in progesterone.

@Pampl3m0usse sorry you had such a rough time xx
@Jessabean Im pleased your counselling already seems to be working! They offered me some at the docs but I said no for now xx

Absolutely paranoid that the surgical management of the MMC I had has damaged something - got pregnant quite quickly before!

Trying not to be a crazy person about it all so nice to join some likeminded people!

Yukka · 08/06/2018 22:43

When do you get married @littleemma? And how many weeks post mc are you?
Honestly - I'd be tempted to bring on that AF then make the absolute most of your wedding experience. You deserve to remember it as an amazing time - and to give your mind some time away enjoying something else.

However I am a control freak :)

About to get married!!! (had to get this in there, its what is getting me through)
Natural MC @ 5 weeks after finding out at 4w5days.
Severe PCOS on right ovary, diagnosed February this year with little likelihood of conceiving naturally. Been trying since May2017.

Trying not to obsess over OPK's and I'm no good at tracking CM so thats not gonna happen, BBT not possible as I'm restless and dont get the same amount of sleep every night.

Having a total conundrum over what to do RE: 1st AF post MC. They say AF is due around 4-6w (assuming you dont conceive!) after MC but this would fall right at the time of the honeymoon! :/ so I have some Nortiserone which I could start taking on Monday for 10 days which will induce first AF OR wait til day before wedding and take it to delay period over wedding/honeymoon. OH and I are kind of agreeing that I will do some OPK's and if I dont get a STRONG +ve then I will use them over wedding/honeymoon time to stop period/bring first one on! Sorry for the waffle.

@L1zz13 I didn't want you to feel alone. I am pleased you have a nice counsellor. I'm not connecting with mine and it feels awkward so that doesn't help! I'm sure she's judging me. Thank you for your words of comfort. I really hope I manage to get there. I really just want to get a BFP this month so that I don't have to keep trying to persuade my DH every month. I am just so tired of it. As mentioned above, we've been trying on and off since we got married two years ago. First cycle was June 16 and now we are in 2018! We haven't been tested but my husband was quite ill back then so I think he had poor sperm. As we managed to get pregnant this January maybe we still have a chance!

I'm sorry you feel you need to take a break. I hope your DH will change his mind as he knows how much this means to you x
