@Wishful30 I’m not 100% on dpo but I think I ov’d on the 1st which makes me 9dpo? AF due 13th I think.

DH is after a vasectomy I think but hasn’t booked a doctors appt yet. Sadly his contraception of choice is abstinence! I mean it’s affective but not my preferred option 😄

If DH has changed his mind and you still would like another, you should discuss contraception with him, and tell him if he really doesn't, then it's all down to him to get and use the protection... men hate that 😂

I’ve been trying to avoid the TWW this month as it is my last chance I think - DH has changed his mind about DC3 so if I’m not pregnant this month I won’t get the chance again - in any case I caved yesterday and bought some Lloyd’s cheapies but I’m fairly certain they’re evaps although I’m trying to convince myself that this mornings (bottom) is darker than yesterday afternoon (top)!

Well, isn't this just a tad annoying/confusing 🤔

So I mentioned the other day, that I'm using the clear blue monitor, and that that I can only test once a day.

The pink one is the digital which I got my smiley face Sunday night.
The test I the picture is actually Sunday morning, which is what made me test Sunday night.

The purple one is the clear blue monitor which I just used.. which told me yesterday was peak, and today is peak, but today's looks about the same as yesterday's. These lines are nowhere near matching in colour 🤷🏻‍♀️
I rarely have 2 peak days in a row, but going by the colour and the smiley face I'm thinking I started surging Sunday sometime.

Anyone had any issues with this nice expensive monitor?

Hello all! I’m 37 and hoping for baby number three. This is my first cycle and we only managed to have sex once - my husband was away for work - but it was 11 days into my 25 day cycle so I’m still hopeful. My oldest child (7) was an accident and I conceived my second (3) first cycle. Would be incredible if it happened again but trying my best not to get my hopes up. I’ve been reading all the boards, feels like I have so much to learn, despite already having two kids. Good luck everyone.

@MidwifeMummy161 I'm 3DPO (or in fact 4DPO now it's past midnight ) I'm expecting to slip into full symptom spotting obsession very soon. It's my favourite part of the cycle!

Definitely @TheMagicTorch I am going to try and wait now but will blatantly test every other day until I see a line or AF 😂 #noselfcontrol

Im getting pissed of now whats the point end of month 13 now was getting excited as im on cycle day 29 only usually have a 28 day cycle and have a couple of days of spotting before hand. Had nothing at all so thought yes might actually be pregnant so bought a test on my break at work and guess what light bit of blood when i wipe and a tiny amount on pad new it was too good to be true. Going to drs tomorrow and there not fobbing me off with oh wait till sept before testing it fucking stupid now x

@MidwifeMummy161 Thank you lovely. It definitely changes your outlook. If you'd asked me before I would never have guess I'd have moved on so quickly but as you say lifes too short and my DP is bloody amazing and understanding. I'm trying my best to wait until AF is due but I might test around the end of this week.

It would be amazing to get our BFP at the same time. I never thought I'd find love again but I've bee so lucky, I never normally think of myself as strong but when I look back I have been strong. I love the support on these boards it's fab

@MidwifeMummy161 just seen your reply from yesterday. Tested this morning and still BFN and still no AF. Wish I was sure on what dpo I was as not sure whether I'm testing early or if AF is just round the corner.

Very sorry to hear of your and @TheMagicTorch losses but lovely to see you've both found your second chances who have similar feelings of just going for ttc and not wasting time

Ahhh @TheMagicTorch I’m so sorry for your loss too, but so lovely to hear you’ve found love again, I think going through something like we have makes you realise life is too short and if you get the chance to be happy you have to grab it with both hands! Both 8dpo too fingers crossed this month is our month, when will you test do you think x

@MidwifeMummy161 Sorry to hear about your husband Keeping my fingers crossed for a quick conception for you, it must be tough working in that environment.
My partner passed away 2 years ago as well, I'm 29 & we didn't have any children together - we put other things first like careers and holidays. My current partner is amazing and we said the same - life's too short, we both want our first baby together and I'm not putting it on hold for anything this time.
I'm 8dpo too so hopefully we'll be seeing BFPs soon. x

I’m 28 and have a 7yo boy and 6yo girl from my first husband who passed away 2.5 years ago! I am marrying my second chance at love next month and we decided life’s too short and we both always said we’d like to have a child together so we decided to try. This is my first cycle trying and I’m currently 8dpo. I got pregnant very quickly with my first two but as this is a different partner, he doesn’t have any children and I’m a bit older than when I conceived my older two, I’m quite apprehensive! I’m also a midwife so it is super tough being surrounded by pregnant mums and babies all day at work when I’m desperate for that myself, fingers crossed for a quick conception xx

@MidwifeMummy161 - I’m nearly too embarrassed to admit that I tested at 5DPO 🤭 no idea why, I just suddenly got the urge! It was of course negative, was never going to be anything else!

I tested today on 8dpo I don’t know why I can’t control myself, it was negative obviously

Hope everyone's well? Thought I'd update you guys. So I'm on my 3rd cycle and I know they say it can take 3 months before your pill is out so I'm HOPING this month can do something. I noticed in my knickers some white ish discharge last night so we DTD yesterday, hoping I get ( TMI) that slimy clear stuff soon so I know I'm defo near ovulation. Says it should be Wednesday so I'll just try do it most days this week! Really hoping we fall pregnant soon. X

@marthamay it's amazing what your brain can start doing during the TWW, especially if it has experience of being pregnant before! I think that we get all sorts of symptoms every TWW but the ones from cycles where we end up pregnant stick in our minds. It's exhausting!

@Wishful30 my clomid baby has a settling in session at school today. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was taking the clomid! 🤞🏻 for you!

I got FF crosshairs today, 3DPO and fully into the TWW! Will probably start testing at 9DPO because I'm ridiculous 🙈

My clear blue said peak this morning. Even tho the lines are most definitely not the same colour. So I ovulate anytime from yesterday to tomorrow I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️
Just hope I peak and ovulate close together.

Here's to Clomid babies. Lots of healthcare professionals I've met alone the way have said 'I have a Clomid baby'

Hey all - I'll say good morning because I'm in Australia.

So today I either 5dpo (based on my ov pain) or 7dpo based on my fitbit estimate.

Either way, today I just feel nothing at all....which I guess is to be expected, but yesterday and the day before I felt really different!

Yesterday had a surge of nausea in the evening, which subsided after half an hour. I also had a wave of that kind of debilitating, heavy tiredness that feels like someone has put a really heavy blanket on top of you - I only remember that kind of sensation from my two previous pregnancies. I was kind of hoping I'd wake up with it again - but no - feeling grand this morning and full of beans. I think my imagination is having a field day :-).
