Symptom spotting - weird taste in my mouth. Not metallic, more bitter? Weird. I don’t know if I am 8,9 or 10 dpo as I don’t do opk.

@TheOneWithTheBaby congratulations!! When you said you had a feeling what did that mean?

Fairly certain I'm out as pre af cramps started this morning. Af not due for a week though. We shall see

So now at 10dpo - coming up crunch time. I swing between being absolutely SURE that something is going on - to being certain that AF is about to start.

I've had some really extreme and painful cramping, felt like my insides might fall out. I can't imagine that implantation feels like that - more like my body gearing up for a heavy AF (but then honestly I never really get cramping before my period) - I suppose that it's possible that it's like this every month, but I'm just hyper super on alert and blowing every little twinge up this month. hmmmm. Had sharp stabbing bb pains today and tender to touch. Kind of like I normally get PMS but 20 x the intensity.

I've did an IC this morning - not even a squinty shadow of a line - but not giving up yet. Don't trust those little strips of wee-covered insanity.....not till AF arrives.

Trying REALLY hard to resist going and getting a proper test from the chemist.

@Cammy30 I’ve not great with charts but if it helps I don’t think that having a glass or two of champagne at this stage will do any harm as AFAIK there is no shared blood supply at this stage

Hi everyone, I've been quiet on here for a few months to try and relax but I need some advice from you wonderful ladies!!

It's my best friends wedding tomorrow (a Monday I know..) and need advice on if I should avoid alcohol or not. Here's a quick intro:

Cycle 8

This is the first month my BBT chart has went really weird, I've had lots of random symptoms like needing naps (I never nap as I'm a very active person), I've thrown up a couple of mornings and BBs are super sore today at 10DPO.

Did a FRER with FMU today at 10DPO And it's a BFN. Can someone look at my graph and see what they think? Really need support / advice!

It a driving me mad not knowing when I'm ovulating. Had no EWCM yet so I'm thinking it's still to come.
Cd13 today so more than half way through my cycle.

9DPO for me today, BFN with cramping and a lot of irritability. Temp is really high though so giving me a little hope.

Think I’m 14dpo today, no AF yet, couldn’t get a FRER yesterday but got a Waitrose own brand (25mol rather than the 10mol I think a FRER is?) and can sort of see a shadow have a weird taste in my mouth that I’ve had for a few days but it isn’t metallic as such. Essentially fuck knows!

6/7 DPO had an odd pain in my lower abdomen this morning whilst having brekkie but probably nothing so no symptoms here. Returning home from airport so will be back to the daily grind ...fx for a BFP next weekend.

7dpo no signs no symptoms 😩 Really can't tell what next week will bring!🤷🏼‍♀️

@Laurenita I also have short cycles around 23-25 days but I think I ovulate earlier so I would still be 14dpo by time af is due...

Congrats @TheOneWithTheBaby!! And you don't legally have to tell your work until you're like 24 weeks, so waiting until September would be being very generously early anyway. I'd say most at least wait until they're 12 weeks, unless you're like @Wishful30, and there are work adjustments that need to be made. What a lovely time to get a BFP, just before the long summer! Hopefully means if you get morning sickness, it can be nearly done by the time you go back?

@Laurenita I think if you tested with a FRER, you should get a clear result on the day you miss AF, even if it's only 11dpo. Worth a shot!

Congratulations @theonewiththebaby! I’m secretly positive this month. Although I ate something bad a few dpo, and spent 24 hours running to the bathroom every 20 seconds, i’m Now 10 dpo and has cramping and sore breasts the past 2 days and noticed a tiny bit of spotting last night. I’m due AF tomorrow. I’ve never had spotting before that I can think of sndbusually get cramping the moment AF comes so I’m taking it as a sign. I’ll test tomorrow morning if AF doesn’t show, although I’m worried that even though AF is due (my cycles are 24/25 days) it still might be too early to tell (11 dpo)?

I work in a school so unless some disgusting disease is starting to go around this week there's no real issue really. And then I'm off for a few weeks.

Wishful, I'm sorry about your husband's nan. I totally get why you wouldn't tell him!

If being pregnant this early doesn't In any way affect your work, I wouldn't tell mine.

I am a Veterinary nurse, so deal with X-rays and anaesthetic gasses, so I have to, for my own safety tell mine. 🙄

As for DH. If I actually somehow am pregnant this time, I may even lie to DH and tell him we're not. As we are attending his nans funeral the day before af is due. Whom he was very close to. So it's a sad time, and I want to surprise him and it be remembered as a happy time.
We've had a chat about how it's not likely this time due to all the stress, my health at the moment. So I don't think he'd care if he realised I kept it from him for a few days.
