The Good, The Bad and The Yams!

Hi everyone.. sorry for being absent.. things have been awful.. truly awful over here. :( Im so thankful for my "talking sessions" with my counsellor.. otherwise im sure i would have had an emotional breakdown.

I'v had to take myself out of a load of groups on Facebook because my time line just seems to be FULL of positive pregnancy tests... and Im not sure I can face seeing them anymore. (Sounds silly i know.. but im so fed up of this all.)

Also.. we think someone in the family is "accidentally" pregnant which is also peeing me off..

saying that @BGDino Im genuinely happy for you. its a bit different when a yammer gets their positive.

Maybe I should have continued with the radio silence because im not a happy bunny. LOL sorry for bringing the mood of this thread down again.

Thanks @Booksandbaths1. Yesterday was thoroughly miserable as usual. Seemed a bit worse as it was last chance I had to be a Mum before I'm 38. Not sure why these stupid deadlines appear in my head- not helpful 😂. Had a good sleep and feel a bit better this morning. I always sleep better after FP arrives - think hormones must settle a bit? Wishing you strength for your visit! 💪

Gah @Chooklass I'm sorry about FP! I remember trying to console myself last month that I'd managed a 28 day cycle for once but it was a crap consolation for getting FP. I've started spotting already at cd20 thos cycle and I'm off to stay with preggers friend's for 2 nights tomorrow. Eek I'm kinda dreading it... want to be a good friend and ask how she's feeling but also not sure I can cope with hearing it all. Must channel self focus!!

OH and I had our appointment today and we are getting a referral for IVF, so the ball is officially rolling 😊 Just got to wait for a letter from the clinic

@chooklass nothing except mild nausea, which I knew I wasn't imagining because I always got similar nausea when my psychiatrist started me on new medications so I was like "hmmm...feels familiar... but I've been on the same meds for months... HMMMM..."

Hoping to ask the fertility nurse approximately how many weeks I actually am when she calls with follow up bloods tomorrow - not sure how you calculate it with ovulation induction and Dr Google and a reproductive endocrinology e-textbook didn't help!

We may have a new Prime Minister in Australia by the next time you guys read this... another leadership spill.

FP arrived. Bang on time, which I suppose is good. I'm so pissed off!

Hi Ladies, I came across this thread, and after following it over the months with each new thread link, wondered if I could join? We've been ttc for years, had one mc back in 2014.. Back actively 'trying' this year after giving it a break as its been too painfully disappointing to try.. I'm loaded with prenatal vits, oh is on zinc, but still nothing.. I'm on CD26, feeling so bloated but wonder if I'm just making myself crazy symptom spotting.. Feeling frustrated, any advice appreciated xx

Hello everyone. I have happy news :) I had my blood test this morning - a couple of days early as I might have used a couple more FRERs since I last posted - I’m pregnant!

Sending hugs to everyone and also big thank yous for keeping me sane through all this.

Hubby and I decided that we’re going to try not to worry about whether it will stick for the next 8 weeks but will enjoy the feeling instead :)

And I got to tell my dying grandfather over FaceTime too... sort of feels like we were meant to find out now, as he wouldn’t be likely to survive until Friday which was my original test date.

Well @chook I’m trying not to bawl my eyes out cause all of a sudden I have massive spots. Defo what I normally get 5-7 days before FP 😫

Oh God, me too @LexieJean !!! My boobs are really sore today. They have been like this before (& always BFN), but my mind can't help tormenting me 😭. I'm in a foul mood today too! 12dpo-ish here.

HELP! I need talking down ladies- my mind is going overtime because my boobs are sore. I KNOW they are often sore before FP but still my stupid stupid brain is thinking maybe we nailed it this fw?! Argh! I’m only 8dpo so it’s ridiculously daft.

Yeah been so grumpy and hungry. Going to a party on Saturday so at least I don't have to make excuses for not drinking
