Can't quite believe I've just written that title...after a lot of indecision DH and I have decided to see where fate takes us. So we're not obsessively trying, but I know generally when I ovulate so we'll DTD around that time. Tbh we're still not 100% convinced we'd cope with three, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith.

I've been thinking about it constantly and our ages mean it's now or never. We adore our 2 DC's and if that's what we're meant to have we'll be very happy, but if fate has other ideas, we're up for the challenge!

About to start AF and then off we go Smile

Congratulations LittleTipple! Exciting news.

I am hoping we dtd tonight. Its frustrating, as my dh doesn't have a high s drive, so I can't be sure. We were supposed to try a few times this month, but so far haven't. I have not really made any efforts for this and neither has my dh. Also, I have not really been checking every day those ovulation strips like I was supposed to. I get distracted and busy with other things so hoping we didn't miss ovulation...

BTW have any of you thought if third time around gets extra lucky and you end up with twins :) My best friend went for a third and now she is pregnant with twins! We have another friend who was in her late 30s when she began her family so had her kids back to back and went for a 3rd at 39....she got twins! So 4 boys 3 and under! :) Apparently if you already have kids and are over 35 your chances of twins increase. I know this chance is still so very small. But interesting as we know 4 couples who got twins the third time around.

Wingingit3211 · 07/09/2018 12:22

Congrats little tipple!
So I thought my period was coming, still not properly here. Tinged discharge atm (sorry tmi!) I’m in pain and emotionally , just want to come. Going to go to the drs this month, something isn’t right, my cycles are all over the place :(

Bubblemumma1 · 06/09/2018 20:54

Congratulations @LittleTipple!

Get cracking @LatteLover12 Grin

Your battleplan sounds pretty good to me! @Taylor22

I’m 3DPO and can’t wait to start symptom spotting because it will speed things up, at least.

RandomUsernameHere · 06/09/2018 20:42

Congratulations @LittleTipple !xx

LatteLover12 · 06/09/2018 19:13

Great news @ LittleTipple!

Congratulations 😊

I’m CD10 today & DP is finally back tomorrow. It’s highly unlikely I’ll ovulate for another week or so at least but we might as well try! Blush

BlackRibboner · 06/09/2018 18:47

Congratulations @LittleTipple! Sounds like a new pregnancy to me - I don't think it's uncommon to catch the first cycle after a pregnancy. I would ring the GP, even though it's early days, as they may want to do an early dating scan just to check. Sending lots of positive vibes your way xx

Taylor22, sorry to hear about AF, but glad you have plans for this cycle! I'm CD3 now and already keen to get going, but have to wait for AF to stop and then begin the (long?) wait for ovulation . . . Fingers crossed for us all this cycle Smile

Taylor22 · 06/09/2018 16:44

OMG @LittleTipple congratulations!!!
I would call the GP now and explain your situation. See what they say and maybe request a referral to EPU?

This is amazing!

LittleTipple · 06/09/2018 16:35

Ladies I'm in absolute shock...just tested and BFP! I got an urge to test but thought being the afternoon it would be too weak. Instead it came up 2-3 weeks. I didn't even think I'd ovulated. Cried when I saw it, but now I'm just a bit numb. I def got a negative test after the miscarriage, so assume this is a new pregnancy, but there's a part of me that thinks it can't be true. Don't know if worth going to gp, as they couldn't see anything this early anyway. Please send positive thoughts into the universe. Baby dust to all xx

AF arrived today. Which is fine because it was a day late me and DH made the most of an extra free night. So that's put me in a positive mood.
Plus we're both home for my fertile days this month which hasn't happened in ages so we have a battle plan....

Which involves Netflix, Guinness, wine and a takeaway.

Mamabear12 · 05/09/2018 11:08

Good luck everyone who is waiting to test. I realised I was counting my days wrong, as I tend to spot before my periods 2-3 days and apparently you do not count the days you spot. This explains why my ovulation day was a lot later then I thought (I was counting 3 spotting days). When I take those days away, ovulation is spot on! Lets see what happens this month.

LittleTipple · 05/09/2018 10:08

Sorry to hear it was BFN @Taylor22. Enjoy ALL the chocolate!

@BlackRibboner gosh it must be so frustrating to have such irregular cycles. Happy CD1 - onwards and upwards.

I'm 12DPO if I did indeed ovulate this cycle. I am having some symptoms, mainly being stitch/pinchy feeling alternating between left and right side for the last few days, plus tingly boobs. I've also had a few vivid dreams involving water and baby animals, which is my number one pregnancy sign. However, I still don't feel overly confident and think what I'm feeling is my body adjusting post miscarriage. Anyway, planning to test at weekend if no AF before then.

Hey @BlackRibboner good luck on this cycle!

Today was test day and it's a BFN so onto next month Smile
I'm just waiting for AF today and the excuse to eat a lot of chocolate.

BlackRibboner · 04/09/2018 21:57

Hi all

CD1 for me today, after ovulating CD30 (if I count the first miscarriage bleed as CD1). I have PCOS too, so I feel your pain wingingit - my cycles can be anything from 24 to 80 days, tracking is a nightmare Sad

But, back on track now and with this as my first proper period since we conceived our eldest, hopeful everything's in working order and we'll get lucky with a sticky bean. Baby dust to all!

Taylor22 · 03/09/2018 21:40

Sorry to hear about AF @Wingingit3211 Thanks

Everything crossed for next month

RandomUsernameHere · 03/09/2018 20:51

Yes I think it's around 36 weeks you can fly until if there are no complications.
Sorry to hear AF got you x

Wingingit3211 · 03/09/2018 20:46

Period is here.. explains the bloat and why I’ve been eating like a pig today. Onto next month. This months silver linings.. cycle was 33 days, more normal .. didn’t have to wait on for ages to be disappointment.
I maybe able to book us a holiday abroad for Easter.. you can travel at like 7 months pregnant right?!

LittleTipple · 03/09/2018 08:27

@Taylor22 you never know, maybe a squinter that will progress- fingers crossed.

We are very lucky to be in the position to try for DC3, but sometimes we still need to vent. Feel free to do so on here!

Taylor22 · 02/09/2018 22:32

@LittleTipple thank you :)
I'm so glad I found this thread. It's been hard to find others in a similar position.
When I tried to vent before I was told to be grateful that I had two. As though I'm not :/

I did test today. There may have been a ghost of a line. Or dust. My husband said no.

LittleTipple · 02/09/2018 13:48

Hi @Taylor22 I know what you mean about holding out to test. I'm planning the same but it's not easy to wait!

Taylor22 · 01/09/2018 20:55

Hi. Just found this thread.

Me and DH are TTC #3 since February.

We had a chemical pregnancy last month so I'm trying so hard to not test till after my missed period.

Bit fed up with it now. AF due on the 5th but I was away with work on my most fertile days so we've pretty much written this month off.

RandomUsernameHere · 01/09/2018 20:44

Haha @LittleTipple that's a good point about not kissing!

@UntilTheVeryEnd sorry to hear about your DD's arm, it's so so horrible when they hurt themselves. DS broke his earlier this year and it healed so quickly and he was back to normal in no time, hopefully your DD will be the same.

@LatteLover12 it would be so lovely to be pg by Christmas! Fingers crossed for everyone x

LittleTipple · 01/09/2018 20:21

@RandomUsernameHere we didn't let a cold get in our way Grin DH was full of one on my fertile week, so a couple of times I told him no kissing, just get on with it! We had a bit of a giggle and it was horrible not kissing, but we got the job done! I'm 8DPO so still don't know if it worked....

@UntilTheVeryEnd lovely to hear from you. How exciting to have your first midwife appointment. What a nightmare having to deal with your DC - getting you prepared for life with three!

Wingingit3211 · 01/09/2018 20:17

UntilTheVeryEnd · 01/09/2018 19:44

Hello to all the new ladies!
Congratulations on those with BFP and hugs to those leaving the thread.
Just wanted to pop back and say Hi and thinking of you all! I miss being a regular on this thread but have now taken residence on an ante natal one eeek!
I’ve got my first midwife app on Wednesday so that’s exciting!
My DD fell off her trampoline last night and has broken her arm Sad managing that, tiredness and Nausea had had me on the edge but hey ho, these things are sent to try us!
