Anyone else trying for DC3?!

Can't quite believe I've just written that title...after a lot of indecision DH and I have decided to see where fate takes us. So we're not obsessively trying, but I know generally when I ovulate so we'll DTD around that time. Tbh we're still not 100% convinced we'd cope with three, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith.

I've been thinking about it constantly and our ages mean it's now or never. We adore our 2 DC's and if that's what we're meant to have we'll be very happy, but if fate has other ideas, we're up for the challenge!

About to start AF and then off we go Smile

@Megs87 I can understand not wanting to get consumed by the stress of it! All the best!

@Anyday88 I've had my most definite (still faint) line on an IC but they've been hit and miss. I find they don't darken as quickly as pregnancy progresses.

@UntilTheVeryEnd I chart temps and OPKs obsessively 😳 so I'm usually quite confident about ovulation but it could be off. Here's my chart. My LP is usually 10 days but am now 12DPO according to FF.

Anyone else trying for DC3?!

We are calling it quits for number 3. We are entering cycle 9 in about a week and nearly a year since I had coil removed. After both DC were conceived first cycle we have decided that it just isn't meant to be and I don't want to be stressing about it any longer. So I am wishing you all the very best and lots of baby dust. I will continue to check in for hopefully lots of bfps!

@NoseringGirl I'm sure lots of people have said that the lines on ic's never seem to get darker. I didn't even bother with them this month so I don't have any experience. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@LittleTipple I have my 🤞🏻 that they are pregnancy symptoms and not AF!

@NoseringGirl eeeeeeek - you maybe ovulated later in your cycle than you think so that could maybe be why the line is so light?

@LittleTipple it’s annoying when you can’t trust what you feel - sorry your feeling crap but hopefully your BFP is on the way!

Well I feel rough today! 9dpo and I'm so light-headed, bloated and pukey feeling. It could all be pre-AF but I do feel pregnant. The gurgling tummy continues and a sort of popping sensation. When I compare to last month, I def feel very different. I don't trust my body though, so no doubt AF will arrive bang on time! Not testing yet, as don't want to see a BFN. x

Good luck I'm in the same boat I really want a 3rd we've come off contraceptives a month ago. It took one try with my second baby I was so lucky. I feel like this time is going to take longer though.

Thanks! Very, very faint line on an IC this morning. Waiting for the FRER to be delivered by Amazon. Worried it should be darker now as AF was due yesterday.

Aye it does feel a bit weird, exciting but weird! The doctor didn’t say what to expect other than cramps really! We will just wait and see how soon normal service takes to resume. She did say I could get pregnant pretty much immediately- so I got myself all reved up to DTD and DH doesn’t feel like it Angry I can sense this is going to be a common occurrence in the coming weeks/ months! Give me strength

Happy coil removal day @UntilTheVeryEnd! No sign of AF for me yet. I asked DH to pick up a pregnancy test on his way home from work and he got blue dye tests! I was grasping at straws and thought maybe the IC tests weren't doing the job. I got one of those very faint greyish lines. I know that happens a lot with blue dye though when people aren't actually pregnant. Going to do the other one in the morning if AF hasn't appeared and see if it's any darker.

Coil count down offically over!!! Had the coil removed this evening and ready to join in the fun... wish me luck everyone... feeling a little nervous once the doctor reminded me I’m “no longer protected against pregnancy” Grin

How's everyone doing? I'm 8dpo and despite trying to ignore all my twinges, I'm obviously symptom spotting like crazy! Biggest thing over the last two days has been a gurgling tummy and tmi, but I'm very gassy. Have looked back at charts for previous pregnancies and this is consistent. Of course it could just be the not-so-healthy food I've been munching Grin

@LittleTipple and @NoseringGirl crossing fingers for you both! I also had a really awful dream last night about my kids falling on a train track - they fairly give you a shake, even if they are non symptom related!

We’ve been baking here in Scotland - DH has a small holding and grows veg for a little roadside stall. We’ve all been outside since he came home, digging, digging, more digging and bagging veg! Glad I don’t have to DTD til later on this week hahaha!

BFN for me today but only 9DPO so hopefully not out just yet. Temps are still up but I'm getting a lot of cramping and back pain.

Oh @Wingingit3211 I'm sorry it's a BFN. So disheartening, but try to keep the faith. How long did your DC take to conceive? As you've said, at least you've got youth on your side.

I'm 6dpo and not feeling much symptom wise. Had a horrible vivid dream last night and woke up crying. The last time I was pregnant I had similar, so have a little hope that last nights dream could be a good sign! Seem to have increased CM and gurgle tummy, but that's it ( the tummy could easily be the large amount of food I ate yesterday)!

Mine were awful sleepers too. Made some progress with ds2 who is 3 by bribing him with chocolate to stay in his own bed. Works 3-4 nights a week I’d say. It’s exhausting. I’m cd26. Spotting didn’t turn into anything. Not sure if I’ve ovulated yet or not! We’re just continuing to have sex.
It’ll happen... eventually!

Thanks @Megs87. Honestly feel awful. Even my go too food that helps when I've got a bug and feel sick is making me heave and deff not got any bugs so keeping everything crossed. Will test again Friday/Saturday if no AF!

As for kods and sleep I've always been quite lucky DS is 6 and sleeps roughly 12hrs a night and DD is 3 and usually sleeps quite well too now but she used to be a nightmare used to have to sleep on her bedroom floor if we wanted any sleep! Xx

I have 2 terrible sleepers who are getting marginally better. DS1 has got better recently but still not great sleeps through some nights now but still not all, he's not long 4. Then DS2 who is 3 this month was a better sleeper but more recently he wants you there to sleep, so tends to wake 2-4 times a night and typically ends up in bed with us. Figured whilst I am suffering from lack of sleep I may aswell have another one :)

@rampantrose welcome and hope AF doesn't arrive. Fingers crossed you just tested early .

I'm CD8 due to ov this weekend and hubby is away on a stag do but we said we weren't trying this month so not too fussed xx

We are also trying for dc3. Due on in 2 days had spotting and pink discharge. Feel violently sick and exhausted but negative test results. Hoping I've just tested too early and results change to a BFP soon xx
