Nice to see you both here! How have you both been doing?

Yup waited for the first AF post mc and started trying again. Feeling ok about it I think. Still have up & down days but & know going through it again will be hell but you don't win if your not in the game ultimately I guess so have to keep at it! Physically things seem back to normal now at least - think I ovulated about last Thursday/Friday ish according to EWCM & temp increase but not sure if all will be successful this time. Didn't DTD that many times this time as was keen not to get cystitis as I have both other times in case no antibiotics makes the difference!

@KnitKitty not sure about the EWCM but would have thought that though you may stop producing it once you ovulate you may have a day or so for it to work it's way out/change below I would have thought.
The being more fertile thing - I don't think there's anything physical cause identified scientifically as to why but there was research published recently- last year I think which showed that there were better outcomes - getting & staying pregnant plus for more healthy pregnancy in those who conceive in first 6 months and especially first 3 months post mc. So must be something to it hopefully!

@RedRobin7 hope your holiday has been relaxing & helped. I wouldn't worry about the alcohol- I really don't think it makes any difference to this early on if you were successful this cycle.

TTC really does make you crazy. Despite having a temperature drop and slight dark brown discharged today - I’m still googling and thinking I might be pregnant. Clearly not! I just wish I could switch my brain off to it all....!

@Mistymeow try to keep feeling positive. Miracles can and do happen and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before you get yours xxx

@Sictransitgloria so sorry for all you've been through. I hope you can find a good care provider next time around.

@RedRobin7 don't worry yourself, the alcohol won't transfer for the first few weeks of pregnancy apparently so you're good to go!

@YellowDaffodils86 do you have any other symptoms either way?

We aren't TTC yet, we will in two weeks time. My period is due in two days based on very painful ovulation pains on a Thursday and period is usually exactly 2 weeks later.

Now being paranoid though... we had sex 6 days before the ovulation pain so shouldn't be in the FW but as I'm on holiday drinking and now started feeling bloated with slight pains in one side I'm really worried in case I am pregnant and have been drinking lots 🙈 I am sure I'm not but still going to worry about it until AF turns up!

Very sorry to hear of all your losses.

Finally feeling ready to have another crack at this TTC malark. Had a mc in Nov, had a haemorrhage and had a stay in hospital. The whole experience was horrific and I will not be using that hospital ever again. Never thought I’d want to try again but here I am.

Fingers crossed for u all. Let’s hope we get some luck our way!

@Pampl3m0usse I realised I didn't answer! We have been ttc between surgery and what I suppose is now the 2ww. I waited until bleeding had stopped but I don't know how fertile I was. With your faint positive I'm not sure because mine was negative 2 weeks post surgery. I would call the doctors for reassurance.

Feel very sad this evening. I've been chatting to two of my best friends who are both about to give birth. We never thought we would ever conceive naturally and all I can think of is why is it so hard for us? Sorry for the self pity but none of my friends really understand what I'm going through x

Two questions for you all:

1. Can I assume if I have EWCM that ovulation hasn't occurred yet? (She says hopefully). Does your CM change immediately when you're no longer in your fertile period?

1. Why exactly do they say you're more fertile soon after MC? What is it that makes you more fertile?/How are you more fertile, supposedly?

After my freak out yesterday I have been pleased to see that I still have EWCM (which I think started on Sunday), but I don't know if I'm just clutching at straws? How accurate is tracking your CM?

Of course @Pampl3m0usse I found out on 30th April at my 12 week scan and started spotting the next day, passed the pregnancy on 5th May then ovulated around the 20th.
Sorry you’re having a rubbish time, How long since your MMC?

@MrsLCW the appearance of cm means you are fertile and leading up to ovulation. Once you've ovulated your cm quickly changes. Usually from EWCM to sticky or creamy. I get EWCM for 5 days before ovulation so it's basically announcing fw starting. So you are defi still in with a shot and DH may come home bang on time!

@L1zz13 we're just off Goldington Road. I'm a northern (Mancunian) girl but my DH went to School here and we got stuck (!) I actually think Bedford is underrated! G&Ts definitely the way forward.... I'm giving myself a hard time today as since MMC I've been trying to eat really healthily (we are brutal to ourselves aren't we.... as if that was what made the difference last time) but all I want to do is stuff my face, not helped by the fact I've just weaned nearly 2yo DD and so she's decided that 3am is a suitable time to wake up!
@DaisyMay25 and @dulwichdays all is not quite lost yet though?
@Maydot do you mind me asking how long you had between your MMC and ovulating? I'm really struggling to work out what is going on since my MMC (still a faint positive test though) and am desperate to start trying again.

I’ve here too!!!... Lurking in the background quietly awaiting my first AF since MMC then I can join in!!! Had a positive opk this week so fx AF isn’t far away!!
