Thanks HidCat, RedRobin7, Boboelephant and Jessabean. Yes, I mustn't get annoyed with myself for being optimistic. It's better to be positive than negative. But it's such a roller coaster, isn't it!?

What are people's opinions on TTW symptoms?
I know technically there's no scientific evidence for symptoms to occur before implantation and the official line is that it's just progesterone symptoms no different to pre-period ones, but there do seem to be a whole bunch of women who swear they've had symptoms before implantation. So, what are people's opinions? Do you reckon it's possible or not?

Thank you all ladies!! I’m still feeling so nervous. I told my OH but also told him not to get too excited incase, he got very excited though haha. He had tears in his eyes and wouldn’t stop hugging me, just made me want this bean to stick even more!!

Hayleyfx that's a nice line. Mine aren't nearly that dark. Tbh I'm not hopeful for me. I did another tonight and it was negative. I know that my wee wasn't as strong and I know I shouldn't test do frequently but I also know, deep down that this isn't a sticky bean. Crap bank holidays I've been having

Okay I just found another cheapie test (I seem to have them randomly stashed around the house 🤣) and decided if this one has another faint line then I’m telling my OH tonight. I did the test on about a 2 hour hold so it wasn’t very strong but there’s a line! I’m gonna tell him when he’s home so I’m sitting here shaking like a leaf desperate for him to get home haha!! I’ll post the pics, I think it’s a tiny bit darker? Only a tiny bit though. Retesting in the morning & feeling more nervous than ever 🤞

@DaisyMay25 ooh that’s definitely promising! I’m so nervous to test again incase the line isn’t any darker but fingers crossed we both get darker lines tomorrow! 🤞

@Wellthisisunexpexted I’m feeling the same way, I’m just so nervous as I don’t feel like I can handle another loss! I’ve got everything crossed that everyone with BFP’s/faint lines have very sticky beans 🤞

I really want to tell my OH tonight when he gets home from work but I’m also so scared to tell him and then it end up being another chemical. He just wants this so much and I’m scared to tell him unless I get a nice dark line... don’t know what to do! Wish I could stop worrying so much 🙄

@ek78 do you have to hold your wee for four hours with cheapie opks? I haven't been! Not that it really matters at the mo with the bleeding and what not...but still!

@Jessabean I wish we were twins but I have a feeling you are 8dpo. I wish I was there but I'm only cycle day 8. Waiting for fertile week to start which is still 4 days away at least. 😫 Next week testing for me will just be opks. When is af due for you? If I was you I'd be testing Tuesday so Thursday is good will power!

@Boboelephant you're the same as me- I'm CD8 too! Considering when to test next week... Thinking Thursday as will be pretty busy Friday. Knowing me will probably cave and test before though

@ek78 I always test first thing in the morning but have also found I've had an equal line on the cheap sticks in the evening. I drink about 8 pints of water a day and always going to the loo but still managed to detect.

I read on a post earlier to avoid doing it first thing but I'm not really sure why! It's worked for me though 😊

Hello ladies well I'm totally fed up AF finished, fw seams forever away and I'm dwelling on what the scan on my ovaries will say. How do I keep my mind off this.

Thanks @redrobin - i’ll keep testing. I haven’t had much luck with the cheap ones before as I can never hold my wee for 4 hrs but might check in with one as I do have a couple in the cupboard of sticks...

@ek78 I've had a whole week of flashing before getting my solid smiley so you might not have missed it. Keep testing. I also use the cheap ones alongside those so I have two types to rely on.

@KnitKitty I totally get what you mean with the optimism - I keep symptom spotting and feeling like I'm setting myself up for disappointment. I think it's one of the worst things about TTC after mc - the whole mind game- do you just ignore what's happening- do you try and be pessimistic or optimistic. You start thinking if I can do this different this time or think that way this time all will be well but ultimately it's just whatever you feel you need to think and do to get though this process I think in the end just don't put be hard on yourself to think or feel a particular way as this sh!t is hard. I'm currently in the optimism for getting pregnant but definite pessimism for staying pregnant at the mo I think!

@RedRobin7 sorry for your situation with family. It is just rubbish. You feel like you want to say something but don't want them to feel like they can't talk about what's happening with them. Maybe you could open up about how your feeling about things generally at the mo with them if there's an opportunity & then they might think a bit more before constant baby talk? Is tricky though and depends how much you want to share with them too.

I’m on day 5 of the blimmin flashey smiley opks. I usually only get 2 before the fixed smiley. Maybe I missed the surge or maybe no ovulation for me this month? 🙁 Trying not to obsess and JKS... cocktails for me tonight anyway.
