@YellowDaffodils86 hopefully getting it off your chest helped. We all have those times so best to let it out on here. 🤞you get your BFPs soon. I'm assuming my cycles have gone back to the old length roughly (30 - 35 days and ewcm was around the right time for that but no positive opks so God knows. It is annoying being so uncertain, especially when you're used to having regular cycles!

KeefBurtain · 26/05/2018 18:53

Hi all. I’m unfortunate enough to be in a similar position to you all so I hope you don’t mind me joining.

On the 21st April I started spotting which turned into a full natural miscarriage on the 24/25th. I should have been 11+3 but my sac was measuring 3/4 weeks behind. I’d seen the h/b at a scan when I should have been 8+4 but it was only measuring 6+6 so I knew deep down what was going to happen.

Haven’t had a period yet - I stopped bleeding from the m/c on the 2nd of May and had a bfn on the 6th.

Yesterday I had really bad cramps and brown stringy discharge which I thought was going to be the start of AF, but had nothing since.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your period after a m/c? Or is it just wait and see. We want to ttc asap but was advised to wait until I’d had a period before we do.

Thank you

weasledee · 26/05/2018 18:48

Hi all, think ovulation did happen yesterday as I had a temp drop, managed to DTD yesterday and going to try again tonight, tricky as on holiday now with the family! ConfusedSmile

YellowDaffodils86 · 26/05/2018 18:22

Im really struggling with keeping on bfps, I know we had a few, but still early days!
Good luck still to you all.
@Wellthisunexpected thats a gooood line!!

@Yukka so sorry. Hope being part of this group helps you through it all

@Cakelaur so pleased scan was good. Did you get a piccy? I personally enjoy when you post and dont feel any salt in any wounds.
You deserve your little sticky bean.

@DaisyMay25 Implantation bleeding????

@KnitKitty Calm your tits, dont meet many that use that expression, it makes me laugh.
We cant help you, we are all as crazy and obsessive!!
Fingers crossed though.

@MrsGS76 Glad you have found comfort here, welcome. Sorry for your loss.

I still have no AF🙄just brown spotting/discharge since she should have arrived.
Another bfn this morning which i expected, so can rule pregnancy out. I had changes in boobs a little so hoping she may arrive soon.

Im feeling a bit fed up at the moment and a bit sad and pissed off all in one. Bit of a grumpy bitch.
Fed up with no bfp, no af, no idea where in cycle i really am now. Potentially fw is even further away now.
Fed up with the all consuming efforts of ttc. Fed up that i should be 16w pregnant and im not. Back to feeling a bit alone, like i did around time of mc. DH doesn't seem to understand.
I have no control over any of it and i hate that!!

MrsGS76 · 26/05/2018 15:48

Thank you so much for your kind words. They really mean a lot!! I look forward to reading more posts and keeping you updated! Xx

HidCat · 26/05/2018 15:47

@MrsGS76 I'm so sorry for your loss but pleased you were able to give Baby the send off you wanted. Good luck TTC again.

Lilimum4 · 26/05/2018 13:56

@MrsGS76 welcome and I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your story with us. This is a wonderful group of supportive ladies. Its safe because we all understand the loss and the need to conceive. You can be as open as you like. Fx and baby dust to you x

zarala · 26/05/2018 13:03

@Cakelaur yay! So happy to hear about your scan! I literally just popped in here to check on you- was that the 10 week scan?? 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 are you doing the harmony / serenity test or anything?

I'm finding it quite hard to keep up with everyone..

There's a lot of new people, I am sorry you find yourselves here but everything will be ok in the end- and you've found a wonderful supportive group here

@Boboelephant hey Girl- where you up to now (in new cycle?) fx for you that this is your month

@KnitKitty you've been asking about symptom spotting- I haven't fully read the thread but I have been noticing so many symptoms this month even tho we are ACTIVELY Preventing conception until I get all my results from blood tests. I am only dpo8 and I have been noticing so many things in the past week- gas, retching when I brush my teeth, feeling bloated and nauseous- but I definitely am NOT pregnant, there is no way- but just imagine if I was TTC I would be convinced that a BFP was around the corner
Just goes to show that these early symptom spottings are just a recipe for disappointment! I'm hoping I can remember this so I don't drive myself nuts when I am on the TTC bus!

I see some bfps! Yay! Fx for all of you and hope they get darker and stick!!!

Hugs to all!

MrsGS76 · 26/05/2018 12:59

Hello all, hope you don’t mind me joining in but I’ve found these posts comforting since my mc. I went for a scan at 11 weeks due to very minor bleeding (more like spotting) on the 9th April, found out baby had no heartbeat and had more than likely passed about 9 weeks. We decided not to take medication or have D&C and to let baby come out naturally. In hindsight this was the best thing we did as on the 25th April baby came out fully formed in sac. It started as labour lasting 5 hours and as I had done a lot of research, I knew I wanted to ‘collect baby’ so we placed a bowl in toilet and collected the full sac. Baby was then wrapped in a muslin cloth and a few days later we laid it to rest at a special place. It was heartbreaking but I was so pleased it came out safely in the sac. We are now day 32 past MC and I’ve started to spot so I’m sure it is AF starting. Well I hope so as we are going TTC using the ‘sperm meets egg method!’ I have been using a ovulation kit during this past month but I don’t think I’ve ovulated? I am so sorry for all your losses, I have three children already but this MC was totally unexpected and heartbreaking. Looking forward to this month ahead of BD with DH. Xx

KnitKitty · 26/05/2018 12:26

Very interesting that a lot of you have had a lack of symptoms before your BFPs.

The month of my BFP I had a noticeable increase in burping and trapped burps from CD24. I'm currently on CD22 and noticing an increase in burping (and a sensation in uterus, not quite pain or cramping, just a feeling). Maybe this just happens to me when AF is coming too and I've never noticed before. I mentioned to OH that I was feeling a bit insane and trying to calm my tits RE symptom spotting as I think we missed the fertile window this month. He said if it turns out I am pregnant we should probably sell our stuff cos it's so effective! Grin lol

Yes, so someone slap me and tell me to go to the naughty corner until I've stopped obsessing, please.

DaisyMay25 · 26/05/2018 12:08

Looks like AF is starting (little bit of brown blood) plus cramps. Four days early! She's evil!

ek78 · 26/05/2018 11:20

Hi @Yukka and welcome! Really sorry to hear about your losses. I am also 39 (2 mcs in the last year) so understand how you feel about the time! This thread is a really supportive place.
@knitknitty I am always convinced I have symptoms but for me both times I had BFP the main symptom was feeling like I was about to get my period any minute for a few days around the time it was due. Tender boobs and super sense of smell followed but after I tested.

DaisyMay25 · 26/05/2018 10:34

@Wellthisunexpected lovely line, congrats!

@Cakelaur I'm not hopeful, I really want to be but I'm just not. I keep thinking it'll never happen now. I really don't wanna got the year mark and have to go for investigations. I'm glad all is well with you! When's your next scan? Soon isn't it?

@hayleyfx I'm testing with frer tomorrow too, hopefully it'll let you upload a photo by then!

hayleyfx · 26/05/2018 09:38

@HidCat thank you! That does help. My test today was a bit fainter than that but not too far off it so hopefully that’s a good sign!

@Cakelaur thanks hun, going to test with a frer tomorrow morning but so nervous. Will be gutted if it’s another chemical!! Trying to stay positive 🤞

DBoo · 26/05/2018 09:08

@LilacIris here you go.

Cakelaur · 26/05/2018 08:35

@Wellthisunexpected omg very clear line!!! Massive congrats!!! 🤞🏻it's a sticky one!!!

@KnitKitty each time I've been pregnant I've got a cold. This is the only thing different I've noticed until after my bfp. Your immune system lowers to allow for implantation. First time I got a sore throat and a nasty cough. Second time I got a full blown cold. Oh and I had implantation bleed with both two... I also get spotting but the implantation bleed was more "snot like" (tmi)

Oh @DaisyMay25 I wish it was clearer for you. These horrible kind of there lines!! Hopefully it's just bub settling in and you'll get a nice strong line soon.

@hayleyfx you'll defo get a darker line on frer. I didn't get my bfp until 15dpo and didn't get a line on an IC until about 18dpo. I have everything crossed this is your month and just hope it's not another chemical for you 🤞🏻

Thanks for the well wishes. I didn't know whether to post or not because I don't wanna rub salt in the wounds. But I want you all to see that there are rainbows after the storm. 🌈

Yukka · 26/05/2018 08:18

Hi ladies, I'll add myself to this thread:)
I'm a week past the completion of my 3rd mc, this one at 10w so I'm officially in the 'recurrent' category. Waiting to ovulate, waiting for tests, but at 39 there isn't a lot if waiting time available! We've decided to jks and see what happens.

Haven't done test yet to see if hcg gone prob aim for next week. Didn't need d&c was all natural so hopeful to be back to normal soon.

Good luck to you all, Pma and baby dust xx

HidCat · 26/05/2018 07:55

@hayleyfx if it's any consolation here's my FRER when blood was measured at 50 to give you an idea of colour.

Tested again this morning, it’s about the same darkness as last nights one maybe a tiny bit darker. The line has definitely gotten darker over the last 2 days but I’m still so nervous, they’re still faint. I just feel like I should have a dark line now. Wish I could be optimistic. Testing tomorrow with a frer so I’m desperately hoping for a darker line 🤞

@Wellthisisunexpected good line!! That’s brilliant. Congrats 😊

@KnitKitty I’m not sure, everyone is different but for me personally, when I get a bfp I generally have less symptoms. I’ve been having a little bit of nausea this time but apart from that, I feel no different. I didn’t with my pregnancy last year either, no symptoms until 6 weeks. Some people are extra sensitive to HCG though & feel symptoms earlier so I guess it’s possible. Just giving you my experience, I have no idea about the actual facts haha!

@RedRobin7 oh hope you’re feeling okay. The first couple af’s after a MC can be really rough. Wine & chocolate may help a little though! 😉

@sweetpea0318 thank you! Good luck coming up to FW, fingers crossed this is your month 🤞

sweetpea0318 · 26/05/2018 07:39

Congratulations @wellthisisunexpected and @hayleyfx - really hope these stick for you!

@knitkitty - I don't think I really had any significant symptoms. Each month I would try and spot things and get lost on google trying to convince myself something was happening but I think it was all in my head.

I'm feeling cautiously positive at the moment. currently on cd9 so really hoping that my cycle is back to normal and fw is coming up in a few days. Keeping everything crossed that I don't have to wait another 7 months for bfp though. I'm seeing a gynae next month about my polycystic ovary so hopefully they'll have some words of wisdom for helping things along!

HidCat · 26/05/2018 07:36

@Wellthisunexpected I hope it's just diluted for you. This morning's test looks to be getting stronger at least. So hard when testing early not to assume the worst isn't it? 🤞

@KnitKitty I think it's just that symptoms at that point in the cycle can go either way tbh. Not that people don't experience symptoms or whatever but it may have happened regardless, I think what @Boboelephant said about it being what's normal for each individual is the relevance. And yes to the rollercoaster. I know I'll be gutted if no bfp this month but can't help getting my hopes up lol 🤦🏼‍♀️

RedRobin7 · 26/05/2018 06:47

@KnitKitty The only two things I can think of is that usually I get sore boobs the week leading up to AF but in Jan when I was pregnant I didn't get sore boobs until about 5 weeks. Since the MMC though I've not had sore boobs at all so can't use that any more as an indicator for me! Also the day before I tested I had really sharp pains in my pubic bone that I'd never had before so I think for me that was a symptom. Other than that, I felt normal and didn't think I'd get a positive test!

@Wellthisunexpected That is a very clear line! Congratulations 😁

I got woken up this morning by ridiculous clots. My second period since the MMC seems to be just as heavy as the first! 😩

Boboelephant · 26/05/2018 06:43

@Cakelaur so glad things are all well. You're so close to 12 weeks now!!
Good luck for testing @Hayleyfx and @DaisyMay25. Hope the lines get darker.
@Wellthisisunexpected I hope it was just too diluted and you get a darker line again today.
@KnitKitty I'm not sure. Every month I get very strong symptoms such as sore breasts, backache, tingly legs, nausea etc and every month it is clearly progesterone related. Part of me thinks that you can get the same symptoms and if you get af you say it's progesterone and if you get your bfp you swear they are are preg symptoms! I'm no expert and I get stupidly hopeful every month but one thing I've noticed over the past 6 months on here is that the majority of people who get their bfps seem to have less symptoms than usual. I think there is also something about it not being the strength of your symptoms but if they are different from normal for you.

Wellthisunexpected · 26/05/2018 06:38

Fingers crossed for you DaisyMay.

KnitKitty afraid I can't help you. Apart from being tired I get no symptoms in the tww that don't get before AF. Though on the day AF is due I got back ache with, a distintively different backache, so distinctive it was what made me test with DS and with my MC! I also got implantation bleeding with both those pregnancies, but not with this one.

I did a frer this morning and it had a very clear line within 60 seconds, which I think is good.

DaisyMay25 · 26/05/2018 03:58

@Cakelaur think I'm haunted by indents again, just the same shadow really, doing a frer tomorrow if that's not conclusive then I give up and I'll just wait for AF
