Hi all! Scheduled a big thread catch up for later today but just wanted to wave hello, hope the back end of May is treating everyone kindly.

OPK's turning worlds upside down here; FW started early and ovulated between yesterday and this morning at least two days ahead of when the apps thought I would.

DH was out the door at 0630 in full wet weather gear destined for the Cotswolds just as the static smiley formed... had to ask permission to leave his walking boots on for three whole minutes of his finest work. If anyone can beat us for romantic TTC bonks, consider the gauntlet laid down.

RedRobin7 · 30/05/2018 12:16

@KnitKitty that's definitely a line!! 🤞🤞 If you're anything like me you're not going to be patient enough to wait until Saturday or Sunday!! 🤔

Really hope this all works out for you! It's my FW next week so I hope I'm not too far behind you!

Mistymeow · 30/05/2018 11:31

Thanks for the suggestions!

@zarala interesting that your doctor suggests the aspirin. I may look into this a bit more. Thanks for providing your list!

MrsGS76 · 30/05/2018 11:30

Thanks @zarala and @MrsLCW , just had a little panic about AF and vitamins but this has reassured me x

zarala · 30/05/2018 11:13

@KnitKitty haha don't you know you're talking to professional squinter spotters over here!

KnitKitty · 30/05/2018 10:59

Thanks all, I'm surprised any of you can see the line in those terrible pics because even I'm struggling to, but it's definitely there IRL.

I've calmed down a bit now. Trying not to count my chickens. Will test again on Saturday or Sunday I think.

MrsLCW · 30/05/2018 10:54

@MrsGS76 I take the pregnancy ones rather than pre-conception so I'm hoping that's ok? X

zarala · 30/05/2018 10:51

@MrsGS76 my 2nd AF after Mc was also only 3 days long- very strange! But seems to have been normal! I think our bodies just need a bit of time to regulate!

@KnitKitty wow! Wow! I see a line too! Try and stay calm (haha) and test again in a couple of days Fx for you!!!!

MrsGS76 · 30/05/2018 10:50

HELP!! I'm still taking Pregnacare for pregnancy ad I had bought a few boxes, are these still safe to take during TTC or should I take the conception ones? X

zarala · 30/05/2018 10:50

@Mistymeow so I have just started seeing Dr Shehata at the recurrent miscarriage clinic (I've had 3 consecutives ones since August 2017)

Anyway he puts all his clients on the following:

Pregnacare max (the omegas are very important apparently)
Vitamin D 2000iu
Aspirin 75mg (with evening meal)- apparently this can help the uterus become a much more welcoming place for implantation and helps prevent miscarriage)

I also am taking floradix for extra iron and vitamin C 1000

peachesarenom · 30/05/2018 10:42

I agree Boboelephant you're a great support. I'm sending lots of good vibes your way for this fertility week xxx

MrsGS76 · 30/05/2018 10:02

@rdm10 I agree, don't think one dose of ibuprofen will harm but I understand where you're coming from. At times like this we analyse everything!!
@KnitKitty I see a faint line so good luck xx

I'm supposed to be on CD3 but yesterday and today I've only got very light bleeding. CD1 was a moderate to heavy bleed. I hope this is normal and I'm carrying on with my cycle so fx! X

HidCat · 30/05/2018 09:56

@Mistymeow I take the Seven Seas Trying for a Baby ones. £2.99 in Savers.

DaisyMay25 · 30/05/2018 09:38

@KnitKitty I see that line! If you go to your doctor with your concerns perhaps they can do a blood test to see if it's a new pregnancy although going by what you aid I've no doubt that it is! Tentative congrats! Test again in a few days, or tomorrow, or tonight, I'm test mad though!

@Mistymeow I had some combined ones but stopped taking them because I swear they messed my cycles up. I just stick to vitamin d and folic acid now

Mistymeow · 30/05/2018 09:27

@KnitKitty I definitely see a line on the first picture. Getting excited for you!

@RedRobin7 I also have some very odd colleagues. Only a couple of them know about my miscarriage and after the initial email of "I'm so sorry" I literally had nothing. Four weeks later my boss sent me an email saying she hopes I'm ok. I work from home and they don't even know that I had surgery.

Quick question- I take folic acid but have been looking at the pregnacare conception tablets. Any recommendations?

sweetpea0318 · 30/05/2018 09:16

@knitkitty - looks like a line to me! Keep us posted! 🤞🤞🤞

@rdm10 - I've not heard of ibruprofen being an issue while ttc. I think it's just when you are preg but I may well be wromgnabout this. Either way I don't think one dose will make a big difference.

@boboelephant - sending lots of hugs. Hang in there! I keep telling myself a little mantra which helps calm me down when anxiety grabs hold 'you're on your own journey and your baby will come when he or she is meant to come'. It does help me particularly when I walk past the 10th preg lady of the day! (I can't seem to get away from them at the moment!!)

I'm cd 14 today - still negative opk but going to jks anyway! Thinking will try SMEP if we can (although it's always a challenge to not burn out too early!)

hayleyfx · 30/05/2018 08:58

@KnitKitty I definitely see a faint line!! Retest in a couple days and hopefully it’ll be darker 😀 Fingers crossed 🤞

Cakelaur · 30/05/2018 08:57

@KnitKitty that's a line that's a line!!! Omg!! How exciting!!! 🤞🏻

HidCat · 30/05/2018 08:47

@KnitKitty I can see a faint line in the first pic. Keep calm (if you can) and try again in a couple of days! 🤞🤞🤞. Eek!

KnitKitty · 30/05/2018 08:43

Ladies I'm massively freaking out.

I couldn't keep myself from POAS this morning. I think I'm 9 or 10 days PO. Last night I woke up as I rolled over in bed and felt a "stretching" feeling in my uterus, and I started with dry-mouth yesterday. Was taking it to make me feel more sane than anything because I have serious (what I thought were) deluded ideas of being pregnant again (and also because I had my last Pregnacare for Conception tablet last night and wondered if it would be worth getting another pack or the one for pregnancy. haha). I just wanted to be able to spend my day off work calmly without obsessing. That'll teach me!

Well, I took the test and a line came up within the time. It's vague, but unmistakably a line IRL. I can't seem to get a good picture of it though.

Could it be an evap? Could it be left over hormones from MC? It was 27th March and hospital confirmed not pregnant 4 weeks later but I never saw that negative test and I just can't believe my eyes - I have had a normal period since as well... just... WHAT?

I have attached pics, but I doubt anyone is going to be able to see anything on them.

Runs around like a headless chicken.

There's a chance also that this could be a chemical so trying not to get my hopes up. Gargh! Someone talk sense in to me!!!!

I’ve just taken ibuprofen for toothache without thinking!! Tried to sick it out but no luck. Cd15 think I’m about to ov. Hope I haven’t totally ruined my chances this month 😩

YellowDaffodils86 · 29/05/2018 22:31

@RedRobin7
I know exactly how you feel!
For a long time i wasn't ready to start a family, when we decided to ttc i didn't let on to anyone that was the case. So when we fell pregnant and told close family and friends it was a nice surprise.
Now after the mc some people now just see it as a given i will be pregnant soon and its dropped into conversation. I kind of feel iv lost my privacy in that area a little, if that makes sense.
I think piss off is a good start in your response though 😂

Ells0204 · 29/05/2018 22:12

Hi everyone just checking in! I’ve been quite busy and haven’t posted on here as much as I’d like to (I only posted once a couple of days ago but didn’t want to be a ghost!) pleased see some more BFPs. And FYI I would also love to hear success stories as they do give me hope. If anything it’s a numbers game and the more ladies in this thread that get their BFPs the sooner it could be you!

I’ll try and post a bit more over the next few days 😄

I would have been 12 weeks today so feeling a bit shitty all day. And @RedRobin4 the same thing happened to me! I called to cancel my MW appt and somehow the message didn’t get through. Cancelling it is stressful enough, it’s gutting when they ask “do you need to reschedule?” And all I could day was “no” before I got a lump in my throat and had to hang up pretty quickly 😢 hope you’re feeling ok xxx

Laney79 · 29/05/2018 22:11

Evening lovelies.

Quick update from me as you were all so kind the other day.

So I'm still bleeding and getting pains/discomfort...now 4 and a half weeks on from main physical miscarriage following Mife/miso med management. Spoke to my EPAU nurse.,.shes not sure if the heavy bleed last Tuesday was my period beginning or not...she says it could be or could be irregular bleeding. She's told me to speak to GP tomorrow, and I'm going to the unit tomorrow anyway (was meant to be a quick chat so I didn't always associate the place with horrible things due to my medical phobia) so she said discuss then.

Since that convo I've had more heavier bleeding-tmi but blobs dropping into loo and blood dripping, like day 1/2 of a period again.

It feels like it'll never end. Ugh. So desperate to be part of the TTC gang. My evil body won't let me. Xxx

Boboelephant · 29/05/2018 22:04

@Cakelaur haha!! 🤣🤣 Fw started today so dancing time for me. C'mon baby vibes!
@DaisyMay25 so sorry af arrived hun. Enjoy that bath and camembert!!
@KnitKitty thanks lovely!! x
@RedRobin7 I wouldn't even know what to say. Your colleagues are much more forward than mine! I think 'we'll see' is a perfectly acceptable response. And don't feel guilty! Enjoy your holiday!
