@PassTheAfterEights seriously haven't giggled like that for ages-Thankyou for brightening my day!

@Boboelephant I've been prescribed provera by the GP -it's the meds you take when you want to delay your period for hols etc but apparently can also help reset the cycles. Downside is it's not a contraceptive but it's a bad idea to get pregnant whilst taking them as it can lead to miscarriage so we'd have to use condoms anyway.

That said I'm bleeding properly again and have been for the past day and a half-feels more like a period, so I'm hoping that it is AF and if so I'll ride it out. Nurse and GP both said tampons are ok if just using for a couple of hours. So not ideal but better than it might have been for hols.

GP also said my bloods were clear-no infection, no anaemia, no thyroid issues...so that was good.

Just hoping this is AF and I stop bleeding naturally without the need for the pills...then hopefully I'll ovulate on holiday and we can make up for more than three months of no bonking with a marathon sesh, maybe even conceive our rainbow in Greece (bean was conceived in Berlin in January!)

Thankyou all for your kindness. I'll keep an eye on the thread when I can whilst I'm away.

Baby dust and hugs to all xxx

Boboelephant · 30/05/2018 17:32

Only have a minute so sorry to those I miss!!

@KnitKitty oh my gosh!!!! You do have super powers! As does your DH!! 🤣🤣 Congratulations!!
@Lilimum4 get on it!! That'll be positive overnight I reckon so ov will prob be tomorrow or Friday.
@PassTheAfterEights 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that is brilliant. Also @zarala 👏👏 for the bootie comment!!

RedRobin7 · 30/05/2018 17:07

@Lilimum4 Haha brilliant! My husband and I managed to both get home at lunch time when we conceived in Jan 😂 He works around the country so we were lucky he was in the area that day!!

Lilimum4 · 30/05/2018 15:32

@RedRobin7 lol I've just told DH to pull a Sicky so he can come home as he's away in the lorry. I'm so bad

RedRobin7 · 30/05/2018 15:28

@Lilimum4 For me I'd say nearly there and very close so get going! Could be equal later on or in the morning. Sometimes I find I don't get much darker than that though so definitely get on with it! 🤞😊

hellotoyellow · 30/05/2018 15:25

Taking a break from lurking to say thank you to @PassTheAfterEights for that gem!

First proper cycle post MC and ERPC back in mid April. DH abroad but miraculously my (booked when PG) visit coincided with flashing smiley and then running out of smiley sticks. In America where a new kit is $60. Cue total meltdown on my part when DH pointed out we could have sex anyway and see - wouldn't actually change when my flight back was, after all - and was told 'what's the sodding point then?' He was not impressed.

Lilimum4 · 30/05/2018 15:23

OK is this opk a nearly there or is it positive

@MrsGS76 it's fine to take the pregnancy ones.

@knitkitty definitely a line! So excited for you.

Murderino · 30/05/2018 15:00

@KnitKitty I'm not crazy - it was on the June thread!

Murderino · 30/05/2018 14:57

@KnitKitty I was certain I posted earlier that I couldn't see a line - I've looked back and done some zooming and I can see a faint line after all ... universe must've deleted my post because I was wrong! Congrats and fx

@PassTheAfterEights this is too funny, if ever JKS is going to run through your head it's at times like that!

KnitKitty · 30/05/2018 14:23

PassTheAfterEights That's hilarious! And love zarala's suggestion for a new meaning of getting some bootie!!! Haha! Can this be a new thing? GSB!

MrsGS76 · 30/05/2018 13:55

@YellowDaffodils86 thanks, glad others are using the pregnancy ones. They were 3 for 2 at boots so I bought a few! NHS offer the free ones but they only contain folic acid, Vit A and vit C .

@PassTheAfterEights Hilarious story , definitely one to share with my DH when he thinks he's got it bad having to perform on cue! X

Lilimum4 · 30/05/2018 13:39

@zarala thanks I've never noticed it before. But then I'm experiencing a lot of things I never had before my mc

zarala · 30/05/2018 13:32

@Lilimum4 mine is all day! So don't think there's a certain time
The pink maybe ovulation bleeding ah uh is quite common after mc

Lilimum4 · 30/05/2018 13:12

I have a TMI question.

What time of the day should I be checking my cm for ewmc and I understand it should be clear and stretchy like eggs but mine seems to have a slight pink look to it is this bad?

sweetpea0318 · 30/05/2018 13:11

Hahaha brilliant! @passtheaftereights

zarala · 30/05/2018 13:05

@PassTheAfterEights hahaha gives another meaning to getting some bootie ! 😂
Sounds quite hot haha

RedRobin7 · 30/05/2018 12:59

@PassTheAfterEights I have also just smiled for the first time today!! Had to show my DH your comment to prove that this is the TTC life and not just us who are unromantic 😂😂 Thanks for the lols 😁

Lilimum4 · 30/05/2018 12:56

@PassTheAfterEights omg that post has made my day lol was feeling proper down as fw starts today and hubby is away but I'm smiling ( didn't think that would happen today) so thank you.

To all you lovely ladies sending magic baby dust and sticky bean glue your way

YellowDaffodils86 · 30/05/2018 12:43

@PassTheAfterEights thats ttc dedication.
That story is one of the best!😂

YellowDaffodils86 · 30/05/2018 12:41

@KnitKitty i see a line. Try to stay calm, you cant change the outcome at this point, so breathe and re test at 12/13dpo. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🎉

@rdm10 i think the ibuprofen will be ok.

@sweetpea0318 i know what you mean. Pregnant ladies and newborns everywhere!

@zarala that's interesting thanks

@MrsGS76 i carried in taking my pregnancy ones, even my midwife said i could. I do plan to switch to conception ones after they are done. But im not sure if i really need to.

DaisyMay25 · 30/05/2018 12:33

@PassTheAfterEights hahaha omg that killed me! Who said romance was dead?!
