Sorry to hear of your mmc @edinbeezer I also had a mmc 6 weeks ago and got af on friday. It was a painful one but was glad to see my body back on track. Also 34 and ttc #1 are you sure you're not me? :p

edinbeezer · 31/05/2018 17:26

Hello. May I join? I had surgery for a mmc 6 weeks ago today and AF arrived this afternoon. I never thought I would be glad to get my period! I'm 34 and ttc #1.

Tefiti2 · 31/05/2018 17:07

Hi everyone! Have had a few weeks break after my wedding and honeymoon, it was lovely. So happy to see all the BFPs and everyone else soldiering (or shagging) on Grin! Recap - have had two early MCs trying for number 2, back to it next week with FW.....

RedRobin7 · 31/05/2018 17:02

@SerenaOverjoyed So sorry, thinking of you. Take another test in a few days just in case xx

@MrsGS76 It's so hard with all the guess work but my suitcase is full of clearblue digitals, internet cheapies, his and hers pre-conception vitamins and a persil washing cup to wee in each day 😂😂 My husband thinks I'm nuts! I've not actually packed anything else yet!!

@Maydot I agree, it's great to have the support of all these lovely ladies. It's not all doom and gloom either - often find myself laughing too! My husbands favourite phrase this year has been "are you on mumsnet again?"... been glued to it through pregnancy, miscarriage and now TTC! I didn't join MN until I was pregnant in Jan - didn't know there were TTC boards but thank god I found this one for the support!

Anyday88 · 31/05/2018 16:56

Hi all!

Lots of bfps on here now, lots of good news!
So sorry @SerenaOverjoyed, this happened to me last month and is truly shit!!

I am just back from holiday and managed to dtd a couple of times but I am now driving myself crazy in the tww. I think I am now 3dpo so still ages to wait!

Where is everyone at in their cycles? Anyone else in the tww?

MrsGS76 · 31/05/2018 16:42

He'll @RedRobin7 , think I'm ovulating sometime end of next week. Ovia app says 8-13th and Fertility friend app says from 7--1th?? So I've just been to boots and bought the Clearblue digital advanced ovulation test where it shows 4 x days . And also purchased the fertility check fertility gel! Never used these two before but I'm all ready for next week - just hope DH knows what he's in for! I've taken being pregnant for granted before this had happened and it's really hit us hard! Normally my cycles are between 25-30 days so fx everything is back to normal! Hope you get your BFP in June , just keep baby dancing any chance you get!!! Xx

@SerenaOverjoyed oh no I’m so sorry hun!! I hope you’re okay. Sending you hugs ❤️

Maydot · 31/05/2018 15:31

Oh, lots of love to you @Martydog, definitely sounds like it could be ovulation pains to me!.. I had the same last week.
@MrsGS76 I’m sure I’ll be feeling much better when AF arrives, I just need to know everything’s back to normal.
@Pancakes7 look after yourself and don’t rush back to work before you’re ready. I really hope you get back to normal cycles quickly!!
You girls are fantastic!!... i’m So glad I tagged on to this thread!!! xx

SerenaOverjoyed · 31/05/2018 15:25

True to form, I just started bleeding Sad

HidCat · 31/05/2018 15:11

Hope everyone is feeling a bit more positive this afternoon, we seem to have a few people struggling. Straight the middle of the huddle for you 🐧🐧

@Pancakes7 Im so sorry to hear of your MMC. I hope you're doing ok?

@Maydot milestones are always the hardest. I've found it easier since getting past the 20 week mark but I know that my due date is going to be tough to deal with.

@Martydog lots of penguin hugs for you. Hopefully ovulation will be a reasonably positive time for you. xxx

Mistymeow · 31/05/2018 14:35

@Pancakes7 so sorry to hear that. You sound exactly like me. The only thing I'm clinging on to is the hope that I can get pregnant again. I don't think it will happen for myself straight away (DH has existing fertility issue) but judging that it didn't take you long to fall pregnant, I have a lot of hope for you :) Give yourself time to grieve, it does get easier. It's been 6 weeks now and I still get very sad, but I'm focusing on the future which is helping me x

@Martydog sorry to hear today is your due date. Have you been using opks? I didn't use opks after my miscarriage because I wasn't sure if they would be reliable so we dtd every other day once the bleeding had stopped. I honestly don't think I ovulated that month but I've had af and am starting again this month.

Wellthisunexpected · 31/05/2018 14:32

Oh @martydog dates can be hard can't they.

Sounds positive for ovulation pain. Can happen that quickly.

Martydog · 31/05/2018 14:23

Today was my due date for my first miscarriage so feeling rather melancholy. But trying to think positively last night I had what I thought were period pains but no af yet. I had a mmc 2 and a half weeks ago is there any chance they were ovulation pains. 🤞

LilacIris · 31/05/2018 13:56

Trying to catch up with everyone again. I’m sorry to those still struggling and congratulations on the BFPs.

@Pancakes7 I was still getting BFPs for more than five weeks after my mmc but I did go on to conceive DD1 after three cycles. After my last miscarriage, I conceived again in the cycle immediately following.

Pancakes7 · 31/05/2018 13:21

A bit of my history. I stopped pill at the beginning of Feb. Had one period then feel pregnant with lmp 8th March. Then mmc last week. So I don't really know my cycles tbh. I am hoping my body will kick back into cycle quickly again and I get a bfp quickly.

Pancakes7 · 31/05/2018 13:18

@Maydot I know how you feel. It would have been my 12 week scan today. Find it so hard to accept what's happened.

RedRobin7 · 31/05/2018 13:17

Welcome @Pancakes7 so sorry for your loss. I had a MMC in March at 12 week scan, I bled for 3 weeks and have since had two periods. We are going to start TTC next week. I'm so scared of it all happening again but so desperate for a baby I just want to get on with it now. The positive stories on here at helping. @KnitKitty had her surgical management at the same time as me so for her to have a positive now it's giving me hope that maybe that'll be me in a few weeks time! You're also lucky to have the support of your SIL... mine is the only sibling from both sides not to contact me. She hasn't said a single word to me since I told her we'd seen the baby and heard the heartbeat at the 8 week scan 🙄 My husband told her the day we found out about the MMC but not a word from her!

@Maydot Don't feel silly! We all have bad days. I feel guilty for going on about it to people who don't understand but on this group you're free to say what you feel 😊

@MrsGS76 What date are you expecting to ovulate? Do you have regular cycles? Before I got pregnant my cycles were anywhere between 23-34 days (mostly around 25-30 but the odd early or late one occasionally!) I've had two periods since my miscarriage but only one cycle I can count which was 28 days. My app reckons I'll ovulate a week today but will start the OPKs tomorrow morning so I don't miss it.

I think I'm going to be distraught if we don't conceive in June on our first post MMC cycle but I know it doesn't always happen that easily.

Pancakes7 · 31/05/2018 13:13

@maxiflump1 @Maydot @MrsGS76 & @PassTheAfterEights thank you for your support. I go back to work on Monday as I struggled when I tried to go in yesterday. GP signed me off for the rest of this week. The only thing keeping me going is the hope of a future baby. My husband has been amazing. So supportive. Also my SIL who is my best friend has been there for me. She went through this last year but now has a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations @maxiflump1 I am so happy for you.

MrsGS76 · 31/05/2018 13:11

@Maydot , so sorry you're feeling sad. I was feeling that way last week until my AF arrived on Monday 33ish days after MC , feeling positive now for the future. As I said to @Pancakes7 time is definitely a healer and there are good and bad days! Sending hugs to you xx

PassTheAfterEights · 31/05/2018 12:37

Hopefully your DH will feel in good virtual company @MrsGS76!!
