I have a Wedding tomorrow which I am dreading a bit. Just anxious to see people.

Pancakes7 · 01/06/2018 12:03

@PassTheAfterEights Thank you. I am on my own this morning but am ok so far. Got up and dressed. Went into town to keep busy. A friend from works coming to see me after work and my Mum after. So that will be nice. I am just doing my best to keep positive for our future.

MrsGS76 · 01/06/2018 11:34

@Laney79 gosh, you're really having a hard time with the bleeding. When I had my mc , I waited for baby and sac to come out naturally and when it all started it was, as you describe, like a tap being switched on! After that , only slight bleeding for a few days. It seems if you take the medical route, it takes longer to recover and the bleeding is erratic? Hope your body recovers and all back to normality soon so you can start baby dancing!
@Boboelephant - I'm trying the gel next week, so fx it does the job! Did you have to leave it for a while to 'settle in there' before BD? Romance is officially dead when you're on a schedule!! Xx

PassTheAfterEights · 01/06/2018 11:27

@SerenaOverjoyed fuckssake, so so sorry to read - I know exactly what you mean about the GP; I actually chickened out and said I'd ring in a couple more cycles if no luck, I felt so nervous about actually embracing that we might have a prob. Just massive hugs to you and good luck with the appt, well done for grasping the nettle hello dad phrase, where'd you come from?!
@Pancakes7 really glad you have a lovely network IRL and a good GP, can make all the difference. Hope you have something nice planned for the weekend?
Huge fx for you this month @RedRobin7, sod the sibling & hang onto the PMA. I was more baffled than distraught when we weren't preggo again straight away, since learned to manage my expectations! Your DH is in good company ;)
Hi @anyday88 how was your trip!? Couple of days behind you at 2dpo here, pretty calm so far.
Welcome & congrats on AF @edinbeezer may the next attempt go your way
@boboelephant well he's positively glowing now, his ttc antics do at least keep me amused throughout! LOL @ the preseed under the sheets, this whole business eh. In my head one day we'll all be drinking rose on a roof terrace surrounded by bouncing babies IRL while our long suffering DP's collectively shake their heads at us over a few pints 😂 have you ov'd?
@laney79 my first AF post MC was v v heavy and confusing but did go back to normal after a couple more cycles, fx yours ends soon & you can enjoy your hols, have the best time!
@knitkitty hope you're feeling better today and have something good planned this weekend, did you test again?

Pancakes7 · 01/06/2018 11:24

@Laney79 I had an mmc last week. Part natural then an SMM, they did tell me that my first af will be heavier than normal. So I'm sure all is ok. I am sure it'll stop in a few days and you can ttc

KnitKitty · 01/06/2018 11:05

Laney79 I'm so sorry the bleeding is still so weird and heavy. After my ERPC I had bleeding which was mostly when I went to the loo but not much on the pad, so I think that type of bleeding can be normal. It's possible it's pooling and because of the position you're in on the loo and relaxing certain muscles it allows it to come out? It may also make it seem heavier then it is, because it's coming out in gushes rather than a constant trickle? Try to relax and enjoy the holiday if you can. Fingers crossed for you that the bleeding stops soon. You must be absolutely exhausted!

MrsGS76 Yes, the carrying on as normal bit is the hard part! I can't really tell anyone so I'm feeling a bit alone with my worries. I'm considering confiding in one of the managers if today stresses me out again.
Boboelephant absolutely, I think that's a great idea. I've been doing positive mantras for a couple of weeks which seem to have reduced my general anxiety about TTC and let things go with the flow, but I think I need to up my game now. Just soaking in some calm and listening to the birds before going in to work at the moment.
HidCat I did actually consider calling in sick, however I'm hoping yesterday was just a bad blip so I'm going to see how I go. My OH also said he's pretty sure I'm reacting to stress more because of the pregnancy as he recalls this happening a few months ago (which I don't remember but he has a better memory than me).
SerenaOverjoyed thanks. I actually have a book about mindfulness so I think it's time to give it another read.

I'll be testing again tomorrow morning to see if the line has got darker, so please keep your fingers crossed for me ladies.

I'm sending huge hugs to those who need it today. You're all in my thoughts throughout the day.

MrsLCW · 01/06/2018 10:20

@Laney79 I've absolutely everything crossed for you that it slows down and stops soon so you can JKS!
Sounds similar to my AF after I had Penny at 20 weeks, lasted 5 days so fingers crossed yours isn't much longer! X

Laney79 · 01/06/2018 10:14

So I'm on my jollies in Greece and if this AF then I'm definately not well!

Started bleeding heavyish Tuesday afternoon,..got heavier weds, and heavier still yesterday and still at the same level today. Very odd though in that again I'm barely bleeding onto my pads...but when I go to the loo it's like turning on a tap...

So - does that sound right? For first AF after a med managed MMC? I had 1 and a half doses of misoprostol then mifepristone and another dose of misoprostol...

I'm hoping this is AF and as its so heavy it will slow down soon and stop...appreciate any experiences or reassurance!

Desperate for it to be AF and hoping it will end in the next few days-were away till 14th so if I can stop bleeding we can get down to some serious BD-ing! About bloomin time too...

Pancakes7 · 01/06/2018 08:50

Yeah my GP recommended headspace for me to help cope. I have just done my second day. I do feel very calm. Sp it's worth a try. I am still bleeding atm from mmc. So ttc is on hold. I haven't taken a test yet as they said to wait until bleeding stops which could be 2 weeks. So much waiting when ttc and even once pregnant. I never realised how hard it can all be. I was very naive until last week.

SerenaOverjoyed · 01/06/2018 08:43

Thanks so much all for the messages of support. You brought tears to my eyes, it's such a lifeline to speak to people who get it! 🐧🐧🐧

I'm going to call GP about RMC today as this is 4th loss (if CPs count?), all before 6 weeks, so it would appear ttc is not going to be straightforward. Has anyone been before? I feel a bit nervous about the idea.

KnitKitty sorry you've had a stressful day. It sounds like you are stressed about being stressed too! Argh! I'd second Bobo's advice but add that mindfulness is brill, it's a bit like guided meditation and it's a great lifeskill. The Headspace app is really good.

Babyblu1 welcome and sorry for your loss. Probably early days for pregnancy symptoms, I hope in 10 days you get the news you want

edinbeezer Welcome, so sorry for your mmc. It's funny the things we find ourselves hoping for: periods, bfns, morning sickness.. I hope AF returns soon and you can get a sense of normality back Flowers

Boboelephant · 01/06/2018 08:27

@Lilimum4 glad to hear it wasn't just me! Thought there must be some trick I'm missing! Woohoo for ovulation! And yes, your luteal phase should stay the same. So if you usually have say 13 days between ov and af, then af should be due in 13 days. If you use an app it should change your af date once it's confirmed ovulation.
@HidCat thanks. I'm kinda hoping that some shot to it's target before the rest! Sorry for rubbish bfn but still early days definitely! 🤞

HidCat · 01/06/2018 08:27

Yes if you ovulated early then you'd probably get your period earlier too. So much guess work it's no wonder we all go POAS crazy lol.

Lilimum4 · 01/06/2018 08:23

@HidCat thanks for that I'm assuming its the same if it all happened early too. I ovulated CD 10/ 11 instead of cd14/ 15 as I normally do.

Fx that you get your bfp in the next few days.

HidCat · 01/06/2018 08:17

@KnitKitty could you sign yourself off for a few days saying you had a bug?

Not used pressed myself but I have used other lubes before so I think it's very likely that some escaped. I wouldn't worry too much ladies.

@Lilimum4 if you ovulated late then either your Luteal Phase is shorter than you thought or AF will turn up a few days later than expected.

BFN for me this morning but only 9dpo so that's expected.

Lilimum4 · 01/06/2018 08:09

@Boboelephant omg I had the exact something happen last night. So I defo ovulated yesterday with all the pain and fireworks I've come to expect post mc. So I though I'd give preseed a go as its the last day of fw ( for days early I might add) but I had the same problems as you. On that I've a question if i o'd 4 days early does that mean I'll get AF 4 days early too

Boboelephant · 01/06/2018 07:28

@KnitKitty so sorry you had such a rubbish day. Is your work always stressful or was this a one off? Maybe time to introduce some yoga or meditation to help counteract the stress. Also I found with DS it was a good idea to have lots of crackers on standby for those moments when I felt faint!
@Babyblu1 sorry for your loss. It would be too early to tell but they are unlikely to be pregnancy symptoms at 2dpo as baby wouldn't have implanted yet. Maybe go to gp if you're worried about infection?

So- sorry tmi- I tried the fertility check gel last night and I'm not sure how much got to its intended location! It said it was best to use when lying down so I made DH read his book whilst I stealthily inserted under sheet. Haha romance is officially dead! It all seemed successful but then one second later seemed to all just have come out on the sheet. Is this normal? Any tips to stop this? 🤦‍♀️

Babyblu1 · 31/05/2018 21:07

ello ladies i had a mmc in February and contemplated trying again despite the mmc. On my ovulation day 25th me and my bf had unprotected sex using pull out method. First time he did not ejaculate on me but elsewhere urinated then had sex again but this time. Came on the top of my vaginaa, some cum tiny amounts went on my lips within 1 min (tmi) but i was really wet so maybe it could have went away. However 2dpo and 4dpo i have been cramping having stiff necks , feeling a lil sickish and mild heavy eyes with backaches. Is this pregnancy or infection

P.s i have zero STI’s checked three days prior to sex and if i am pregnant it wouldnt be an issue xx thanks in advance

MrsGS76 · 31/05/2018 20:57

@Boboelephant , yep good luck with the gel, I've never tried it but I read on one of these posts that it was useful so fx for both of us! Xx

MrsGS76 · 31/05/2018 20:19

@RedRobin7 that's so funny, I'm starting to build up a collection and 'introducing' it to my DH slowly. He's got a busy few weeks ahead of him!
@SerenaOverjoyed so sorry ! Damn that AF!!
@edinbeezer , so sorry for your loss! I was glad of my first AF too which started on Monday so feeling positive for the month ahead x
@KnitKitty it's not nice to have a shit day at work because you have to appear to be carrying on as normal! When it certainly isn't!! Sending you hugs xx

KnitKitty · 31/05/2018 20:10

RedRobin7 Don't forget to pack some clothes!!! Hahaha!

SerenaOverjoyed I'm so sorry. That really, truly, utterly sucks. Hugs xxx

Welcome to the newbies, join the huddle.

I've had the shittiest day at work and I honestly nearly walked out half way through the day. (Can't remember if this was before or after I had to have a sit down for 5 minutes because I felt faint Confused ). Now I'm worried the stress is going to affect if little bean continues to make a home inside me and I'm bricking it for AF due day. Daren't test again to see if there's a line there still or not. Feeling wobbly.

Boboelephant · 31/05/2018 19:52

That was the longest post ever that took an hour to write around cooking dinner and across three pages on my phone so sorry if I missed anyone. Sending you all hugs xx

Boboelephant · 31/05/2018 19:48

@maxiflump1 that's a great line!! Fx it continues smoothly! I'm pretty envious of your one time lucky I must admit! Your DH must be proud! 👊
@Maydot sorry you're having a tough time hun. Milestones are so hard. Use this board to vent and treat yourself kindly. I've been through many and you always come out the other side. For now- into the 🐧 huddle. You too @Lilimum4. Hope Monday goes well.
@PassTheAfterEights he's definitely a MN rockstar in my book! Last night as I was starting to tell DH your boots sorry I led with 'remember the guy cooling his balls in the snow...' 🤣🤣
@Pancakes7 welcome to the group and I'm sorry for your loss. As others have said, we have seen lots of people on this thread get their bfps after loss. There have been several in the last 2 months! Some fell quickly in the first few months and others are still waiting but it's a lovely support network and we're all hopeful everyone will get their rainbows!
@Martydog I'm so sorry hun. Mine is coming up in a few weeks too and I'm dreading it. Sending you lots of love. And yes I agree about the ovulation pain!
@SerenaOverjoyed oh no!!! I'm so so sorry. I wish I could take your pain away. It's so unfair that you only got the line today. Sending so much 🐧🐧 love xxx
@Tefiti2 welcome back!! Hope you had an amazing wedding and honeymoon!
@Anyway88 I'm waiting for ov. Reckon it'll be tomorrow or Saturday. 🤞
@MrsGS76 I just bought the gel today too. Let's hope it's the magic potion!!
@RedRobin7 haha I took a pee cup away last month too! 🤣 I am also thrilled to have found MN too. Didn't know about it until my MMC and it's such a lifeline for me. My DH hugely advocates it because he can see how much it has helped me.
@edinbeezer welcome and I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad your body is gettingback to normal. Haha @Mistymeow there's two of you! 👭

Blondcat · 31/05/2018 19:48

Evening ladies sorry to all those having a hard time today some days are just shit. I am just coming to the end of second af after mc.
Sending big penguin hugs to those in need 🐧

weasledee · 31/05/2018 18:51

So sorry serena, extra cruel really x

SerenaOverjoyed · 31/05/2018 18:46

Thanks for the support ladies. You are all such a lifeline.

It's pretty steady so I'm fairly certain it's just a chemical preg. It's so cruel, yesterday I'd have been happy to get my period. I was so happy today, despite myself. It's really crushing SadAngry
