F#*k sake just started with heartburn. I never get heartburn, ever.
Baby 1 it was the one symptom that made me test. Why does our body do stupid stuff like this? Only 7-8 days dpo which is too early right?

mostimproved · 21/05/2018 21:47

@Fredthespider I will also be around 12dpo next monday I think, and am trying to hold out until then. It’s also my first cycle and I don’t think I can take another!

I don’t share every little symptom with my DP but I know he’s thinking about it all the time - he keeps bringing up symptoms I had with our first DS as if he’s checking if I have the same ones again - it’s quite sweet really. He has told his parents we are ttc which I didn’t really want him to do, but I know he is just excited. Now I’ll have my MIL asking about my cycles which is not what I need!

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 21:28

@FoxyRoxy - I'd love to not get my hopes up but you know how it goes! There are some really strange symptoms out there, heartburn is awful! I had really random ones with my first, like skin tags on my neck and congestion! I was snoring so bad by the end hubby moved into the spare room lol. X

@starsandstuff when I was 14dpo with #2 and had had a 1-2 on a CBD I turned round to dh and said "I'm so burpy, it must be a pregnancy symptom" and he proper scoffed at me so now I tell him next to nothing! And it totally was a pregnancy symptom, I had horrific heartburn the whole way through.

FoxyRoxy · 21/05/2018 21:17

@Frizzy1986 we ttc for 3 years for #2 so he heard it all by the end, this time round I had an "are you ovulating?" On the day I actually ov last week but I don't usually tell him much. I leave my opks in the bathroom because I like to check line progression and he must look at them or he wouldn't have asked haha!

@KimRobs87 some exciting symptoms there!

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 21:03

@Fredthespider - it's scary isn't it! It feels like the longest time too! I'm 5dpo so not far behind you. Good luck x

I'm sharing everything with DP - mainly because I do that anyway with everything! The poor man hears every thought that ever enters my head Grin I txt him this morning to say I thought I maybe felt implantation twinges. He said is that even possible? I was like I don't know tbh! I told him I was POAS on Sunday even though it was unlikely and he laughed at me being crazy right out of the gate Cycle 1. Then he came into the bathroom to see the result and he was disappointed, which was nice, you know what I mean. The novelty might wear off for both of us soon though ha!

Fredthespider · 21/05/2018 20:57

I'm nearly half way through the TWW, 6DPO based on the clear blue peak. I promised OH that I wouldn't POAS until 12DPO which will be next Monday. It's a bank holiday so I won't be heading to work afterwards otherwise I think I'd convince the OH to go on the Sunday. It's my first TWW so a bit scary!

Frizzy1986 · 21/05/2018 20:57

Yes tittifers I stripped naked within 2 minutes of entering the room.

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 21/05/2018 20:49

Also a very "sharing is caring" approach...maybe I will adopt it!

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 21/05/2018 20:48

@Frizzy1986 ha true! I was worried about having legs akimbo to a stranger pre-baby, but once I was in that birthing suite I was pretty much "have a look!" to anyone!! 😁

Frizzy1986 · 21/05/2018 20:32

thetittifers I think I cruelly want him to have to go through it. The full experience 😂 He won't get the pain of childbirth, the being naked in front of strangers (although that was weirdly not something that worried me last time) I want to give him what I can

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 20:28

@TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong @Frizzy1986 - I know what you mean. I share some of what I'm going through with dh. He's loads more chilled out than me at this kind of thing and often tells me to 'chill out, it'll happen' - not good enough! 😂

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 21/05/2018 20:17

I know what you mean @Frizzy1986 they just literally need to show up! I only tell my OH if something is majorly odd, I won't bother him with the twinges etc, don't want him to think I'm too mad or get too hopeful. I can just about cope with the disappointment atm but if he was getting excited by symptoms for nothing, I think that would be hard 😕

Frizzy1986 · 21/05/2018 20:09

What do people share with their other half? I was determined not to symptom spot, but obvs I've failed at poss 7-8dpo (occasional boob twinges which are too early for af which is the only time I get them as mine swell at that time.)
Anyway, I genuinely don't think we are pg this time, but do you tell the other half about how you feel, changes, symptoms etc. Seems strange that I will track the cycles, monitor the symptoms and really all he has to do is sex when I ask and wait for me to tell him when it's positive.
Do you take them fully along for the ride?

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 20:07

Haha I know what you mean. We haven't done it since and I think we're both a little relieved x

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 21/05/2018 19:58

Haha we'll all be testing Friday! Mustn't get disheartened at the BFN though!

I've just had a look back at calendar...we DTD 12 times... 🙈if this month isn't a good one I don't know what will be!! I think we're both secretly pleased fertile window is well and truly gone so we can get to sleep earlier!! 🤣

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 19:50

You've twisted my arm (like it needed twisting lol!)! I'm still having cramps now and just had some ewcm - what the hell! (Sorry if tmi!). If this isn't my month then I am officially a crazy woman! Xx

OP posts:
FoxyRoxy · 21/05/2018 19:22

Mass poas on Friday then?

FoxyRoxy · 21/05/2018 19:21

I had some odd cramping early this morning for half an hour or so, I'm also 5dpo. Oh and this morning my chin was covered in spots, about 4 or 5! Had to proper slap on the foundation for work, ugh!

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 21/05/2018 19:19

Hi all!
I've been having a few aches pains lower left area. Maybe I'm just sitting funny but I've not noticed it before? Hmm

Had a thought driving home...maybe I will test Friday too 🤣 🤦🏻‍♀️😁

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 14:44

@starsandstuff - me too! I'm 5dpo today too (I think). Had some cramps yesterday and earlier today. I also felt sick yesterday but think it would because I played netball and the room was boiling! I've also had a lot of tingling going on in the boob area lol (like as I type) xx

OP posts:
starsandstuff · 21/05/2018 13:59

I'm starting to symptom spot even though I know it would be too early (I'm more than likely only 5dpo - i think the 10th would have been too early for ov). Since this morning I've had this weird nipping sensation in my womb (I think) and back that keeps coming and going. Like a sharp stab with a needle - nice! Not actually crampy as such. Also was feeling queasy this morning - but that could be the massive bag of crisps I ate last night! I'm supposed to be back on my SW plan today so I was clearing the cupboards... Grin

FoxyRoxy · 20/05/2018 22:32

@starsandstuff they are so expensive in boots! Ok so I'm ordering some off Amazon for Friday, if it's a bfn I'll just take it easy on the wine and test again on Sunday. I'm such a poas addict I did an opk earlier 🙈 someone stop me! @8DaysAWeek I'm sorry if I drag you both down with me haha

8DaysAWeek · 20/05/2018 21:45

We are all as bad as each other lol
