Hi ladies.
This was the first month not tracking after trying for 8 months and getting nowhere.
My last 3 cycles lasted 28, 29 and 32 days, but think the last one may have been a CP.
No idea which date I actually ovulated, but felt cramping on and off since early last week and I'm due AF any time from Monday.

Think I'm going to do a test at the weekend, because I can't just sit and wait! Praying it's a BFP Thanks

Thanks @Murphyrocks that's really interesting to know about those tests if I suspect one again I may get some. It's also I interesting to hear about the kidney infection as I had one previously also around the time that I had a m/c previously although that was a good few years ago. Mine was weird too but I'm questioning if it was a cp or if it was messed up because of this uti- I did not know the stats were so high on cp's.

Murphyrocks · 30/05/2018 14:01

All sounds good @sprinkleofsunshine re getting the right meds for ttc. I was hospitalised for a kidney infection a few years ago so am now suspectible to utis, fyi you can get a sets of 50 home tests for about £8 online if you ever want or need to check again, they're pretty accurate. Re your earlier question re cp (chemical pregnancy) there's no real way to tell except for if you're unexpectedly late and heavy, apparently up to 50% conceptions end in cp so they're really common but most people aren't even aware they're pg because they mistake the early mc for a normal period. I think I may have had one too as I was 5 days late which is v unusual for me and v heavy with clots too, and had started getting some pg symptoms. I had one my first ttc month with ds #1 too. Good luck for June all!

sprinkleofsunshine · 30/05/2018 13:00

Thanks @VenusStarr :-) back on the June bus! Ha x

Bas27 · 30/05/2018 13:00

@sprinkleofsunshine glad you got things checked out and got some answers. My friend gets a lot of utis and she takes cranberry supplements that helps keep them at bay.
Internet medical degrees are the worst! 😂

VenusStarr · 30/05/2018 12:57

Good job you checked! Glad they're changing it for you and you can carry on ttc @sprinkleofsunshine hope you feel better soon x

sprinkleofsunshine · 30/05/2018 12:49

I am so glad I rang the dr, I asked whether it's ok to take these whilst ttc and if I am Carry on as normal (things online suggest waiting 3 months) they are changing my prescription and going to collect different tablets in an hour.

sprinkleofsunshine · 30/05/2018 12:40

Thanks @VenusStarr the only thing I'm worrying about now is whether I can start ttc again normally next month. I've not used this antibiotic previously and I know we said we wouldn't look up dr google but now I'm not sure about taking it!

VenusStarr · 30/05/2018 12:18

Glad you got checked out and know what's caused the pain @sprinkleofsunshine x

sprinkleofsunshine · 30/05/2018 11:50

@Bas27 that would be handy this month but no I hope it regulates again,

I've been to the docs as I knew that pain wasn't right & late period is very unusual for me and I do have a uti as I suspected. On a course of antibiotics and she is sending a sample for further testing. Fx it was just that and be back to normal next month!

Bas27 · 30/05/2018 09:37

Easy to fall down that rabbit hole @VenusStarr. 🎩🐰🐇Keep us posted.

VenusStarr · 30/05/2018 08:36

You're right @Bas27 think I need to restrict myself with Google. It's just so easy though! I started off well last month but quickly slipped. And it didn't change the outcome!

Bas27 · 29/05/2018 20:00

Thanks for the warm welcome 🌈**@sprinkleofsunshine and @Murphyrocks 🙂

Sorry to hear about af Murphy. A bit jelly of the wine though 😂🍷
Fx for the next one! 🤞

I'm on the look out for af who could rest up any moment. 😩Apps say that potentially o now although what I entered could be completely inaccurate. 😅Figure I'll start my tww and test if no af.
@VenusStarr and @sprinkleofsunshine stay away from the dark side of the internet! 💔Bad things happen but you'll only make your lovely selves sad/panicked by reading all the details! I did the same thing with everything that can go wrong the other day and have had to put a blanket ban on that kind of research.
@sprinkleofsunshine are you hoping for the cycle to change or not? Lol 😂

VenusStarr · 29/05/2018 15:56

It is but that sounds like a good plan :) @sprinkleofsunshine

sprinkleofsunshine · 29/05/2018 15:54

Same here @VenusStarr I should stop reading but can't help myself. According to my app he is away 2 days up to, day of and day after o Sad which is a bit rubbish. Though who knows after this month if that will even be correct. Will just have to dtd before he goes and when he gets back I think.

VenusStarr · 29/05/2018 15:49

Anything that can put your mind at ease can only be a good thing @sprinkleofsunshine :) I've read a million and one scary things since starting ttc, it's the unknown that sends my mind into overdrive! my dh is busy during fertile week, late finishes and early starts so that will be interesting! How long is your dh away for?

Murphyrocks · 29/05/2018 15:47

That's inconvenient @sprinkleofsunshine! Hope you get a couple of days for dtd around the right time! Love to keep in touch next month!

sprinkleofsunshine · 29/05/2018 14:47

Welcome bas! Fx for you. I'm also ttc 1 going into cycle 3.

sprinkleofsunshine · 29/05/2018 14:46

Oh @Murphyrocks I'm sorry to hear that! What is our bodies up to? Have a large glass of wine and enjoy your holidays!

Would love to @VenusStarr :-) I may get checked out to put my mind at ease, fully expect it to be just one of those things but very unusual for me. I've wrote a super long thread to see if anyone has had similar Confused as read some horror stories & worries myself.

Fx for us for June ladies. Dh is away over o date argh!!!!

VenusStarr · 29/05/2018 14:33

Hey @sprinkleofsunshine sorry to hear you're in pain. If it's no normal for you and not usual period pain I'd probably get check out. I hope you're OK, hopefully next cycle is ours :)

Sorry to hear af came with a vengeance @Murphyrocks, hope your wine was good :)

Happy to keep chatting if you guys want to for our next month x

sprinkleofsunshine · 29/05/2018 13:45

Thanks @VenusStarr fx for us! I'm a bit concerned about the pain I'm having, may start a thread to see if anyone has had the same, hopefully nothing but never experienced it before.

Murphyrocks · 29/05/2018 12:56

Hi @Bas27, welcome!

Unfortunately af arrived this morning with a vengeance - bit sad but at least I can have a glass of wine now! Fx for June!

Bas27 · 29/05/2018 11:16

Hi, can I join?
Sounds like you guys have been on a wild ride this month! Fx for June 🤞
I think I'm going to have to do a test today as I'm going to have my wisdom teeth out but I think it will be too early to tell and bfn even if not.
I have no idea when I ovulate. No af in 9 years bc of implanon! Cycle #1 ttc dc #1!

VenusStarr · 29/05/2018 10:55

Hi @sprinkleofsunshine sorry to hear that af did arrive. Fingers crossed June is a good month for both of us :)

How are you @Murphyrocks? How's everyone else getting on?

sprinkleofsunshine · 28/05/2018 20:39

Oh I hope it's good news for you @Murphyrocks and you're enjoying Italy. I honeymooned there :-)

I actually did think it could be as I have never had a late period and I don't know why I would have o'd late if I did as I didn't think I had at all. Also the groin pain I've never had before. Is there a definite way to tell a Chem from a period as I never got a bfp? I actually though before af came I may have a uti as I had some symptoms.

I've had a miscarriage preciously some time ago before dh so a Chem would mean that hopefully no issues sight dh and I but worried I may have issues getting a sticky one!

Murphyrocks · 28/05/2018 20:17

Sorry to hear that @sprinkleofsunshine but as you say at least you can look forward now and know where you are. Sorry if this is possibly upsetting but given it was heavy with clots and chance there was a chemical pregnancy? At least would show all is OK conception wise? Do you do charting/lh tests for predicting O going forwards?

I'm still in limbo, now day 35 of my cycle, 4 days late, with no af or bfp in sight. So annoying given I'm on holidays in Italy and missing out on all the lovely Italian wine, probably for nothing!
