Hi
Me and hubby are desperately trying to concieve. We've been using ovulation sticks for 6 months, using fertility gel for 2 months. I know that 6 months might not seem that long and just wondered if anyone knows anything else we could try?

It took us 2 years 8 months. I think it was 33 cycles. But we had fertility issues on both sides. We are about to go on the waiting list for IVF.

Apparently stats are that 80% of couples conceive within a year and 90% within 18 months, so about half of couples who get referred don’t actually need the fertility clinic. I remember when we hit the 9 month mark it felt like forever but try not to stress. It’s likely to happen soon.

Don’t worry too much, anything up to a year is within “normal”.

It took us many years but most of my friends and family got pregnant in under a year.

We're on 12 cycles, everyone's different but I believe the average is 9 months x

Just over 3 years.

It took me 5 years and 5 miscarriages to finally be pregnant currently 9 weeks, didn't do anything different either but I was on clomid a while
