Here I sit with my full and painful breasts and sore nipples, my cramps, my fatigue and my nausea, hoping that this will be the month for me and my gorgeous man!
But alas, symptoms of pregnancy and PMS are so painfully similar I just never know!

I am a huge symptom spotter I must admit, every month I sit here and hope and pray but it just hasn't happened yet :(

The fact we are TTC is kept quiet as I don't like to drag my friends into my obsessive ways..because I have done that before and I think they got a little bored of my symptom spotting!
So any of you lovely ladies out there in the same frustrating boat and want to vent? I am here and ready!

Aw that is fantastic news! Smile Massive congratulations to you, it’s so nice to hear a positive story! x

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 13/06/2018 20:17

Three clear blue digitals, 2 first response and a Morrisons own 🙈

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 13/06/2018 20:16

Had my bfp yesterday and today!!!

MissG2MrsB · 13/06/2018 19:47

@MrsSnootyPants2018 - sorry I’ve just read this message! I know it’s a few days later but wanted to check how you got on? I’m now an advocate for not doing tests until your period is due/late (only because I’ve done a few and there’s always the ‘well maybe it’s just too early... I’ll do one in a day or so’). Let us know how things are, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for positive news.

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 10/06/2018 22:00

Evening I'm now 11dpo and got a bfn this morning :-(

But the last two days I've had:

  • cramps/ lower discomfort.
  • really tired after a lot of sleep
  • small nausea
  • constantly hungry.

Normally for af I have some cramps day before but normally once started.

Not sure if I should just count myself out now or not?

MissG2MrsB · 09/06/2018 15:55

Good for you @tattyjade - staying positive is difficult but it’s good to try and look at it from a rational point of view. Mind you, I’m saying this while waiting on AF, it’s much harder when she arrives. Weirdly, I’m meeting up with a friend tonight who is single with no children and who had one ovary removed when she was a teenager due to a large cyst growing on it. We need to keep reminding ourselves that there’s lots of people less fortunate, although that’s difficult to do when emotions are running high Flowers

tattyjade · 09/06/2018 13:02

@MissG2MrsB I think my period has arrived today, and I'm so sad, but at the same time I should be so grateful that it's a possibility for me! Eventually it will happen, I'm lucky and will try to stay positive 😊
The friend I'm going out with today is desperate for a baby and she's single and has just found out she has a cyst on her ovary. I've been supportive and have constantly reminded her this isn't the end and she still has a chance, which is true! And I've got it easier than she has! I have a partner and I have two healthy ovaries, I need to take a breath and just be grateful 😘

Oh no I’m sorry to hear that @LillyLeaf and second what @tattyjade says about getting answers/help. I hope you get that positive too @tattyjade. I saw this post on fb and it made me tear up thinking of all the people who don’t have what I have at this moment in time. We’ll get there in the end though, I have no doubt.

@LillyLeaf I really hope you get some advice and answers that will help!

Temp drop this morning, looks like I'm out. We have our first appointment with NHS fertility clinic in a few weeks, looks like we'll need them.

LillyLeaf · 08/06/2018 21:30

Hi, I'm doing ok. 10dpo here. it's such a werid time at 10dpo of thinking maybe this could be the month and this is never going to work! But trying to be chilled this month.

tattyjade · 08/06/2018 20:28

@MissG2MrsB I really hope you get that positive soon! I'm always on here so be sure to keep me updated! I'll have all my fingers and toes crossed for you! 😘
I've been quite calm this month and now I've had some brown mucus at 11dpo and my tummy is rather painful so I reckon I might be out this month, it was only tiny and it's come crashing down on me!

@LillyLeaf How are you feeling?

Hello ladies! It’s been a while Smile My last cycle ended up being 38 days! Period arrived 9th April and my next one wasn’t until the 16th May... madness! It’s a bit annoying because it means I have even less ‘opportunities’ in any given time frame to conceive than maybe your average person but that’s just the way it is. I haven’t bothered too much this cycle in all honesty so I haven’t a clue when I ovulated but I’m looking to be waiting until at least next weekend for my period. It’s all over the place so who knows! I hope you are all keeping well Flowers

tattyjade · 01/06/2018 16:52

4dpo for me today!
Although not feeling my chances this month, or maybe this is just what it feels like to be calm! Normally by this time I'm already spending a little too long staring and the pregnancy tests in the shop..
I am learning through this process though that breast tenderness is a two week thing for me before AF arrives! Lucky me! Good luck to you! Smile

LillyLeaf · 31/05/2018 17:48

Yep, here we go again. I'm 2dpo. Good luck

tattyjade · 31/05/2018 15:12

Back in the TWW!
Must be that time for you ladies aswell?
Anyone still here? Grin

OP posts:
LillyLeaf · 15/05/2018 18:21

AF arrived, on to the next one. At least I can relax for a week or so before it all begins again.

tattyjade · 15/05/2018 11:33

And good for you for having a little cry! I plan to do the same later when I see my partner!

OP posts:
tattyjade · 15/05/2018 11:31

@LillyLeaf
I can't tell you how many hours I spent googling last night as I was only spotting!
That's definitely what bought such a awful dream on
It felt good while I was dreaming it and I just have to remember that will be my reality one day and I will enjoy every second of it Grin
Feel like a fool now she's here but it's just too easy isn't it! At least now I can move on and get ready for next month when I do it all again!

But you know what they say! You aren't out til she's here!

Oh @tattyjade that's horrible, why does the mind and body put us through this, so cruel. Mine is being pretty annoying too. I've had 2 days of low temps and AF hasn't started yet, I'm sure it will today but in the meantime I'm googling 'temp drop then BFP' and I obviously find some random forum from 10 years ago where that happened to someone. I add terrible headaches yesterday and 2 restless nights so I'm feeling crappy today. I had a bit of a cry and a hug with DP yesterday which I never do, I normally try to put on a brave face.

tattyjade · 15/05/2018 08:39

Oh ladies I had such a horrible dream last night! I've started spotting with means Aunt Flo is on her way now so I'm feeling better pain wise, but I had a dream last night that I took a test and got a faint line and did another later on and got a strong positive! I was so proud of them and showed my Mum and she cried and took loads of pictures of them..such a tease SadWoke up miserable!
Always next time ay!

Temping is really good to pinpoint ovulation, it's nice to be able to see it. I take my temp orally every morning same time. I generally start cd 8 and sometimes I stop about 5dpo just because you can over think every rise and dip and I think is doesn't help with the 2ww stress.

MissG2MrsB · 14/05/2018 10:07

I’m definitely going to start tracking my temperature. Do you girls just do it orally as soon as you wake up in the morning?

Smoothieyummy · 14/05/2018 08:23

@LillyLeaf yup, I’m right with you there. I was secretly being hopeful that my temp has been consistently high in the 36.80-36.90 range. This morning it comes down to 36.60s. AF is definitely coming very soon.

The past few weeks my brain was crazily studying all the symptoms and events for the last one year since my MC etc I think at least one thing I’ve got from this cycle is I have learnt a lot, first is temp monitoring, second I think have figured out my luteal phase length and lastly I can 100% explain my delayed ovulation this time is attributed to the longhaul flight in mid April. Reminded me that long haul flight always messes my cycle up.
On to the next month!

LillyLeaf · 14/05/2018 07:25

Big temp drop this morning so looks like AF will arrive today. Why is this so hard, just one sperm has to find one egg. Onto cycle 13!
