TTC first baby cycle one! Anyone else out there?

@Trying1stBaby so I ate some rice and straight after I'd nearly finished, and I had to dash up to the toilet. I was just gagging. No sick but felt awful.... really just came on. Fingers crossed. Xx

@kescilly that's an amazing way of looking at it! I'm going to use that too! 😋 Aw yay TTC buddy! Haha! Wel keep each other strong and away from tests until the time is right.
@delilah that's a really good sign you know... Were you gagging with nausea? I had that before my bfp yanno! And it came and went but I didn't feel unwell. I got everything crossed for you!

@Trying1stBaby me too. Had the biggest heaving episode I've ever experienced earlier was so weird xx

Not too cautious, Trying. I've never had a BFP but feel very cautious as well. I told my husband I'm thinking of it like applying for a job. You send out lots of applications, get a little excited if you make it through a few rounds of interviews, but you don't know if you'll actually get the job. I know it sounds ridiculous but I think it helps me!

We might be testing or commiserating at the same time. :)

Tww is two week wait... The time between ovulating and your period/bfp

@kescilly we had a rollercoaster last month of positives then periods haha. So this month we are waiting until I'm a few days late. Do a test and if it's positive then we are going to test every 48hours for another week or so making sure the HPT are getting darker and not fainter and then I will go to my GP and ask them to do blood work to check my HCG levels are high and healthy for a pregnancy... Until I get all of this I'm not getting my hopes up.
It is very cautious I know but it was a really hard thing to get so excited thinking we were pregnant and then to not be.

Whats your plan for testing, @Trying1stBaby? I saw that you're starting your TWW too. My birthday is a couple days after the start of my next predicted cycle, so I'm hoping I don't let myself be miserable.

@Delilah I know!! I wish there were more obvious signs... Imagine time before HPTs and FRERs hahaha.

@Delilah and @kescilly I know what you mean about the HPT. My husband came home last night with a bag full. (I don't mean to go on about the Chemical pregnancy) but he wants us to test for two weeks when we next get a bfp just incase it goes the same way as last month. But I don't like having them around it's too much temptation haha!

@Delilah7 thank you! I’m already obsessed, to be honest. But I’ve briefly tried with a previous partner and don’t want to let myself go crazy again. Not keeping any pregnancy tests in the house. If I ever do need one, it shouldn’t be too difficult to go out and buy one.

Joining in, if that's okay! We are TTC #1, this is our first cycle. I have some underlying health issues that could make it difficult, and age isn't on our side. So I don't know what are chances are, but we are trying anyway!

I don't think I want to test each month, unless my period is very late. Too much stress!

@sachabloom it is too tempting when there are tests there ready to be used. But it probably is too early so it's good your next ones are a few days away 😋. And symptoms sound promising so fingers tightly crossed!!
Tww is awful it's the longest time ever haha! Think I'm just starting the TWW now 😪 14 days to go haha!

Thanks @Trying1stBaby I caved and did a test last night even though I know it was too early - it was negative! Ordered some FRER now which won't come until the weekend so I can't tempt myself now😂 will do another test next week and see how I get on.

Still struggling with cramps today, boobs are tender but that could be my imagination haha x

@rosesandponies 9th June isn't too bad. Although I know time seems to go so slowly sometimes! I am not sure if i have ovulated or not. According to clearblue opk it was 18th May but then my temperatures say I haven't ovulated so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am not holding out much hope but going to test on Friday anyway. Then I will likely be joining you on the start of another long one! Good luck with this one! Are you doing anything to try and shorten the cycle? I tried raspberry leaf tea but that did nothing, someone told me apparently hiit exercise helps so that's my next plan! I am not big on exercise though.

@sachabloom IV done loads of reading on symptoms on loads of forums and one thing is for certain and that's everyone is different. Some pregnancies are conceived very early and show obvious symptoms and others don't have any symptoms. The annoying this is only time will tell but your signs could deffo be good ones... Really hoping they are and you get your bfp .
@charm23 IV been similar to you... First month symptom hunted and then second month I calmed down and little and now I'm just plodding along a little bit... And bding as much as possible. I get ovulation pains so I always know once IV ovulated and from which ovary too haha! I have these pains ATM on my left side so we must be at a similar time in our cycles. Got everything crossed for you.

Also I'm sorry to hear you and @rosesandponies are having a tough time. It really is so difficult. In the world we live in if we want to get things we can pretty much make it happen except with TTC. Just don't have any control and it's such an emotional thing to want a baby so it does properly impact how you feel. But I have a really good feeling for us all I think we're going to keep seeing lots of BFPs in this group xxx

Hi ladies
I thought I would join in again. Feeling all better and new again post Chemical miscarriage.
I'm ovulating ATM which is really exciting... Thought everything going might be messed up for a cycle or two. Going to be hitting the TWW soon. Its also so amazing to see ladies getting their BFPs, makes me feel all optimistic again.
