TTC first baby cycle one! Anyone else out there?

@FlapJackered yes I did - I was keen to know if my cycles were normal-ish. I was a bit worried that I had no positives at all by day 15 - but then at day 18 evening and day 19 morning I got positives. Then they went negative again. I'd read that you can have a surge for just 12 hours so it can be difficult to miss - pleased I caught it!

Does anyone get lower back pain during ovulation? Not sure if I’m due to ovulate however today I have really bad lower back pain & pain in one side? xx

@FlapJackered hi lovely. I haven't tested. I've got ( TMI) a pad in waiting for the lovely period to start. I'm sure it's going to. :( x

Did you start testing opks from the end of your period?

@Delilah7 how are you doing? Have you tested again or are you waiting for a bit longer.

@Em0203 I'm so obsessed already! Cycle 1 after being on cilest for about 4 months (condoms for 2 years before that). I'm really hoping my cycles aren't too messed up, but I didn't track them before so I'm not sure what normal is for me. I'm currently in the TWW - only 3ish days post ovulation at the moment. I've used opks this cycle and did have a peak at day 18/19. We've also DTD almost every day from the day my period needed, so I hope it's worked. Not sure I could keep it up every month!

How's everyone else doing?

Hello @LuckyKitty13 thank you for your reply! I was on Cilest probably about 5/6 years on and off. I’m planning to go with the flow however it’s easier said than done haha, & I find myself already obsessing just cycle 1 .. my other half also works away for some of the month so fully expecting it to take longer haha! How about you? X

@LuckyKitty13 don't get too hung up on symptoms. I've learnt on my second month if it'll happen it'll happen. If I stress I'll miss my period and think I'm pregnant so what's the point xx

No symptoms yet ladies, but only 2 days po. Is desperately wishing and hoping a symptom?! I'm going to use cloth nappies and have been searching eBay already for good deals!

@summerbab ooh well good luck! I think you definitely notice every little thing much more now - it's impossible not to!
@charlotte1x yeah I googled literally EVERYTHING I'm now a fertility expert (Google told me so 😂) I'm totally hooked on it all! I had every symptom I'm sure in the first month lol.

@delilah7 if you're due on, if just wait a day, then if you're late then test. It'll be much more reliable, if you test again now and it's negative you're prob still not gonna be sure if you are or not!
I'm sure you can get some really cheapo ones for a couple of quid from wilko for desperate times though?? Then you won't feel like you're wasting them and save the good tests for when it's late enough to be sure!

@hamandpease it's just so weird I'm never normally wet like this before a period but I just have this feeling I'm gonna come on so x

@Summerbab I'm convinced I'm not and don't really wanna even bother wasting money but I'm never normally like this before AF. I'm normally dry right until the day I'm due and then I come on which is the wetness normally!

@deliliah7 hmm that is weird as you’re due on. I’m not an expert at all but my pregnant friend was telling me how much discharge she has now, and it’s comparable to when she was ovulating. Fingers crossed, are you gonna do another test tomoz?

@Summerbab it feels really wet... and slimyish. also my toilet paper is white but when I wipe and look the stuff that's obviously come out has a tinge of yellow ish to it or something...

@delilah7 I know it’s a bit minging but have you touched it with your fingers to check the consistency?

@Hcna23 I can't really tell when I wipe myself. I just feel so damp and loose. Sorry TMI! im never like that. And I constantly keep thinking it's wee and it's not hahaa

@Delilah7 I would test if I was you.. I’ve been feeling really wet since I’ve been pregnant with an increased amount of discharge..

Is it egg white? As it also seems like a sign of ovulation as you don’t really get as much discharge before your period is due..

Advice ladies. As we know my test came up negative so I'm pretty sure I'm not. Periods due tomorrow, however for the first time EVER I've felt like really loose and damp down there. Keep having to go toilet like constantly. Ever hour without fail.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but they are already! I feel like I am already becoming very obsessed with TTC and keep googling stats etc all the time. Luckily my fiancé doesn’t seem too bothered that I seem to be turning DTD into a military operation but I bet he’ll get tired of it eventually!

Hey @crossfitgirl, I’m in the same boat as you - bf doesn’t want any pressure and so we’re DTD like we usually would. I am keeping an eye on fertility apps and trying to hit my fertile window but I’ve not had a positive OPK yet - someone on here told me you should do 2 a day though and I cba with that so not doing them anymore. I’m supposed to be ovulating today (cd15) but first month off the pill so who knows! DTD CD7, 10 and 14 and definitely have increased CM, higher sex drive and my nipples have been hard and so sore for a few days - never had this before. No idea what it all means but it’s very exciting!
