@Cakelaur if AF is a no show by the morning I'll do another lol. You're such a bad influence 😉

Cakelaur · 02/05/2018 20:49

@HidCat TEST TEST TEST!!! I have blood when blowing my nose. And it's a pregnancy sign. More blood flow to everywhere in the body!!!

Boboelephant · 02/05/2018 20:41

@KnitKitty no worries! Yes definitely. I didn't get the cape sadly but I have no doubt that we are all a bunch of wonder women!!! 😀🏋️‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Boboelephant · 02/05/2018 20:37

@YellowDaffodils86 ooh yep!!! So so close! I'd call that positive as it probably will be same colour overnight. Keep bd'ing! I'm a bit envious- still almost invisible lines for me!

KnitKitty · 02/05/2018 20:32

Boboelephant oh I see! Thanks for clearing that up. I like it. Makes us sound like a bunch of wonder-women. Which we basically are, right? Grin

YellowDaffodils86 · 02/05/2018 20:20

What do we think? Soo close?

Boboelephant · 02/05/2018 20:20

@KnitKitty apparently you can be more fertile in the few months directly after MC so we call it 'wearing the fertility cape'.

KnitKitty · 02/05/2018 20:14

ek78, I suppose it could be ovulation? Does that generally feel like period cramping too?

HidCat funny you should say that, I often get blood in my nose around the time of my period, but not nose-bleeds per se.

YellowDaffodils86 How lovely. Hopefully a good omen!

Blush Boboelephant sorry for my ignorance, what does "wearing the cape" mean?

Boboelephant · 02/05/2018 18:28

@Cakelaur sounds like it started as a nightmare but has ended as a dream!! Enjoy!!! Your pup is so friggin adorable too!
@strawberrye I'm so sorry again that you are going through this. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy soon. I am hoping for your sake that it is an early mc not an ectopic because as awful as the loss still is, at least once your body has passed it you can start trying again straight away and it's not a sign of a blocked tube. It sounds as if your body might be starting to let go so I hope the process goes as smoothly as possible.

@Lovemysparkle good luck for the tww! Does look like you covered your bases. 👍
@DaisyMay25 sorry af got you but onto 2019 babies we go!
@ek78 and @KnitKitty and @HidCat hopefully they are good signs for you and you are wearing the cape! I did get ovulation pains after MC though just fyi.
@Claire138 glad you're going well hun! I'm ok. Cd13, getting all the fw signs so fx body goes through with it this time!!
@Pointtotheceiling welcome and I'm sorry for your loss. This group is amazing! Fx you catch again soon.
@Eastend2015 welcome back. So sorry you're having a tough time. Definitely use this thread for support and get the counselling!!! Therapy advocate here!!
@YellowDaffodils86 lovely picture!! 🌈🤞

@Eastend2015 hello there. I'm really sorry to hear that you've had such a tough time over the last couple of months. Sending hugs.

Eastend2015 · 02/05/2018 15:44

Thanks lovelies. Looking forward to feeling more positive soon!!

HidCat · 02/05/2018 15:13

@Eastend2015 so sorry to see you back here. I hope we can help you with your grief. xx

Cakelaur · 02/05/2018 13:58

Sorry @DaisyMay25 at least she didn't keep you waiting.
@Claire138 I know. He's growing so fast!!! Mauritius is such a lovely place. Luckily the spotting has stopped and the sunshine and the swims are definitely making me feel great.
@strawberrye so sorry babe. Hopefully one way or another you'll get some answers. I don't know a huge amount about ectopic but from what the ladies say on here, defo an mc is the preferred option as weird as that is. Sending massive hugs.
Hi @Eastend2015 sorry you're back here babe. Defo sounds like you need a break and a big hug. Xx

Eastend2015 · 02/05/2018 13:52

Hi all! Back on the thread after a difficult march/ April. We were back at the RMC just now, bloods and uterus scan all come back normal so it’s back on the TTC bus. I asked the dr to refer me for counselling though, i’ve been really struggling to cope with all this plus my boss has been at absolute cock and work has been massively stressful. Oh and we are having building work done too. DH is being really supportive but no-one can we really make it better. Starting the process when i’m feeling so sad and drained is not what I want. I hope folks are doing better and hugs all round!

Pointtotheceiling · 02/05/2018 12:45

Hi everyone, time for me to join in I think. I’ve been trying not to think about getting pregnant too much since an early miscarriage in March - but since I’m checking this thread most days I thought I might as well get involved.

I’ve already got an 18 month old and have been ttc for 6 cycles now (messed up by the miscarriage in March). Think I’m on a normal cycle again (for me) and 3 dpo - although I’ve been having really short luteal phases so just hoping to get to 10 dpo this month as a starter.

strawberrye · 02/05/2018 11:51

@cakelaur @claire138 Unfortunately my local EPAU doesn't accept self-referrals unless you have had recurrent miscarriage or previous ectopic, it has to be a healthcare professional referral. To be honest I've done a fair bit of reading on it and it doesn't sound like there is much point in scanning me - they only start to see things when the hCG levels are in 4 figures, and mine are only double figures! So I think that is the rationale behind just waiting for repeat bloods. I have done so well up until now with not POAS again but I have given into temptation this morning and an FRER is barely positive, much lighter than ones I took 10 days ago. So I'm expecting my blood hCG to have dropped and I think I'll start with cramps/bleeding soon. To be honest it sounds strange but I would be relieved for it to be an early miscarriage rather than an ectopic pregnancy.

Enjoy Newcastle, I'm in the north east, let me know if you need any suggestions for places to eat etc Smile.

HidCat · 02/05/2018 11:30

@KnitKitty I've had period pains over the weekend and was expecting it to show mon / tues based on opks but nothing so far. Never really had period pains until now so this is new to me. Showing other symptoms including my newly noticed nosebleeds when AF is due (never put them together before but it fits and apparently does happen) so figure it shouldn't be long. I couldn't tell you where I would be in my cycle if it weren't for the opks though.

Claire138 · 02/05/2018 10:56

@babynameedie thank you! We just flew over to Newcastle for a big catch up with friends...it was meant to be boozy so DH had to get all my drinks and pretend I was drinking G&T when it was really just the T! Hope you are keeping well. Good luck with your marathoning 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️🏊‍♀️
@primrose16 it really is bloody hard! Hope you are keeping well!
@zarala and boboelephant that’s really reassuring. I have a few more symptoms now but that won’t stop the worrying! Zara hope you are healing well and getting ready for the TTC game! Hope you are doing well bobo, you are just entering FW? GL! Hope it’s not as long as last months!!
Thanks @hayleyfx and @ek78 hope you are both well 😊
@strawberrye I am so sorry how long this is taking for you to get some answers! I would agree with cake and see if you can push to get to EPU and see if you can get a scan at the least. Really hope it’s a little growing bean in the right place 🤞
@cakelaur I can’t believe the size of your puppy already!!! He’s going to be a big boy! Hope you are enjoying Mauritius! We went there for our honeymoon although we stayed in the south west of the island Bel Ombré, such s beautiful island! Hope you are keeping well and your spotting has stopped.
Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hope you all are keeping strong at whatever stage you are currently at and a shout out to the newbies, very sorry you find yourself here but this is an amazing group of women 💪

ek78 · 02/05/2018 10:33

@knitknitty could it be ovulation pains? I think some people on here have talked about having them for the first time post-mc?

KnitKitty · 02/05/2018 10:10

ek78 Totally with you there. We're not "trying" this month either, but still over-thinking everything.

I had period pains two days ago for several hours so thought AF was arriving, but it's gone away again and no sign of period now. Any one else had this mid-cycle on their first cycle after MC?

ek78 · 02/05/2018 09:50

Thanks for the new thread @dulwichdays!
I've not posted on here for a while as I haven't really anything to report. Just waiting for the first AF post-mc but I've been trying to catch up on what's been going on for everyone.
@claire138 - great news! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!
@laney79 welcome back. I have been thinking about you and am glad that things are finally moving. What a time you've had.
@L1zz13 glad to hear you finally got your negative test and are back on the ttc mission.
I thought AF was arriving yesterday as I had a little bit of pink after exercising but it faded away very quickly. Probably just post-mc weirdness (the medical term!) but a tiny bit of me is 'could that be ... implantation...' Honestly, the ttc mania strikes even in a month where we aren't really trying...!

DaisyMay25 · 02/05/2018 09:24

Of course AF arrived today a day early. Oh well, onto next cycle! New opks to test out and might join the marathon spirit!

Cakelaur · 02/05/2018 08:40

@strawberrye that's awful that they won't scan! I'd call Epu direct and explain and say you're having cramps and things. They can't leave you hanging like this!! Especially if it is ectopic!
@Lovemysparkle haha!! Bum is all better!! 🙈😂 sound like you've covered all bases!! 🤞🏻 for a nice easy TWW!

Lovemysparkle · 02/05/2018 08:27

Morning all think I’m in the tww haven’t done any opks but my body defo feels like it’s ovulated!! Couldn’t dtd Friday & Saturday (away on hen do) but done 5 days straight Sunday-Thursday before & was back on it Sunday & last night 😁 @cakelaur Mauritius looks amazing I hope you enjoy your peace & quiet & your bum is better 🙈
