Yes we're finally getting somewhere!! Not positive yet but considering what I've had for the past 6 days this is amazing!!! And looks like I'm on track to ovulate this weekend, unlike last month!! 😀😀😀

Oooh @L1zz13

L1zz13 · 04/05/2018 08:41

I've POAS. Will look at it when I get back from school run!

weasledee · 04/05/2018 08:38

Ha ha cake!
Hope there are some pee-ers today! Grin

Cakelaur · 04/05/2018 08:36

POAS FRIDAY!!!! Who's in??? I have nothing in Mauritius to pee on. I could possibly find a stick outside to pee on, not sure it will tell me much?!

Boboelephant · 04/05/2018 08:31

@BabynameEdie sending a hello and baby dust your way too! Are those opks getting any darker? Hope work settles down!
@L1zz13 glad you got him on board!

Ooh that reminded me it's POAS Friday!!! Who's in?? I'm currently building up my wee for an opk. 😂 Keep your fingers crossed for a dark line. 🤞

Boboelephant · 04/05/2018 08:26

@PassTheAfterEights so glad you're having a great time! Looks amazing. And nice to have a mental break! Actually heard the name Oak the other day and laughed and thought of you... Sequoia 🤣🤣
@KnitKitty vent away! I want to get excited for you and will keep fingers crossed. They sound positive but I definitely know about crazy post MC symptoms. I was convinced we'd caught straight away. We hadn't. That said lots of people on here have so it's not impossible! Why has doc said 22nd? Counting the neg test as day 1 seems odd. I ovulated 4 days after my neg test and af 13 days after that. So it seems very late? @ek78 ooh also have everything crossed for you! What cd are you on?
@YellowDaffodils86 I agree with @DaisyMay25. Looks like you probably had your surge overnight and ovulated yesterday. I'd test again today like Daisy said just to confirm. But can't hurt to follow
@strawberrye advice too! 🤣

L1zz13 · 04/05/2018 08:24

Happy Friday ladies 🥂

@YellowDaffodils86 keep shagging!

I'm feeling chirpy today. Managed to get my hubbo on board 😉
I'm one shag just before O and one hopefully during.
I'm happy with that. Feel my bases are covered now! Any more from no on with be a bonus!

I can't believe I'm saying this out loud to strangers! 😂

BabynameEdie · 04/05/2018 08:14

Hi everyone sorry am only checking in v briefly at the moment, work is super busy but I am reading most messages and taking it all in.
Sending love to those who are struggling and baby dust to all ✨🌟⭐️💫
@strawberrye your last post to @YellowDaffodils86 made me laugh - just keep on shagging everyone! 😂👌 xx

strawberrye · 04/05/2018 07:23

@Eastend2015 that's very true and you are right, I have no idea what is going on in their lives or what struggles they have had. I'm not usually such a jealous judgy cow! But it does make me think about if I ever am lucky enough to have children of my own, that I should be more mindful of others when announcing pregnancy/complaining about the ups and downs. I guess we never really know what the next person is struggling with, and there is always someone worse off than ourselves.

@sweetpea0318 sorry to hear you are really struggling, I can't remember your particular situation but whatever it is I'm sending hugs

@PassTheAfterEights looks beautiful! Hope you are enjoying being away and making full use of the fertile window!

@KnitKitty your crazy outspilling made me laugh out loud - mainly because I so get where you are coming from! Hoping you find something to distract you soon.

@YellowDaffodils86 confusing! I must admit the only OPKs I have used in the past are the Clearblue flashy smileys so not many useful words of advice other than keep on shagging?!

ek78 · 04/05/2018 06:56

@knitknitty I am relating HARD. I really hope that your signs are symptoms! For me it’s cycle after mc 2 and haven’t a clue about ovulation etc because I decided to just leave it and see for this month. But the crazy is also unleashed here. I had a tiny bit of spotting on tues and thurs. Both times assumed AF was following but not yet. It could be implantation bleeding but i think more likely wishful thinking on my part. You never know though! This is what can drive you CRAZY with this ttc business especially after mc when you stop trusting your body as much (in my case mmcs have really made me not trust my instincts as I had no clue the pregnancies had ended). Anyway, fx for you! At least we if we get af we know everything is more or less back to normal and we can crack on...

Smoothieyummy · 04/05/2018 01:22

@Cakelaur I've had 8 cycles since the mc, but this is the first TTC cycle after what happened. My cycle has always been 32-35 days and I rarely able to track O properly lol probably because I didn't pay much attention to it until now.

@Boboelephant probably jump hubby one more time tmr and that's a wrap for this cycle. He's probably regretting asking for more intimacy last month lol.

To the ladies who also have ovaries/uterus/pelvic pain after the mc, does the pain happen often? It's been 8 months for me and the pain doesn't go away esp around mid cycle. Strange as never had this before the MC.

Also, speaking of overanalysing signs and stuff, I always get tender/sore boobs around CD18-20, however, this time around I'm now on CD 25 and don't have any soreness/tenderness. Does this mean something or I'm just way to delusionally hopeful?

DaisyMay25 · 03/05/2018 23:55

@YellowDaffodils86 the middle one looks faint probably because it was fmu, they say not to test with it because it's inaccurate.
I think, but not sure that you probably ovulated today due to the darkness last night but I could be wrong. Try again tomorrow without fmu (late morning) fx you get that surge!

YellowDaffodils86 · 03/05/2018 23:13

I need to do a proper catch with whats been happening but just quickly these are my opks
Top - last night
Middle - today fmu
Bottom - tonight (long hold)

No idea what's happening, i do find opks tricky sometimes
Any advice greatly appreciated

It's so difficult to not think of every ache and pain as a what if... isn't it @KnitKitty
My boobs hurt and have definitely grown which was my first indicator with my first baby and with my MC but I think I'm only a few days past ovulation so it can't be pregnancy related but I can't help feel... what if?!

L1zz13 · 03/05/2018 19:48

I'm feeling you @KnitKitty

I'm so the same. Had my 1st but spent the whole time wondering what if! I'm doing it know. Hoping the cramping I'm experiencing now is pg related. How ridiculous. I've only just Ov'd or about to!

KnitKitty · 03/05/2018 18:40

Eastend2015 hope you're ok! It's that awkward time of year when you never know how many layers to put on, isn't it?!

Aww, strawberrye, it's so difficult when you want to be happy for someone but also feel like crap hearing the news. Hugs. xx

sweetpea0318 hugs for you too, ride the wave.

Well I am now day 37 post MC and cycle day 9 as advised by doctor, as that's when my first negative pregnancy test was.
I'm not officially trying this month and so thought I'd be able to stave off the crazy, but it's seeping over me and I realised here is the best place to let it out.

SO, ignore this; I'm just letting the crazy out in a safe place...
Only done the BD 3 times this month; on 24th & 26th April and yesterday. I have no idea where I'm at cycle-wise, and the official line is that I don't care either, because I'm just waiting for AF to show up post MC. HOWEVER; I had weird cramping for several hours on Monday and have had weird hormonal surges this week (one moment felt like punching a wall - never usually get like that, next I was fine, and then cried at an advert on TV), also my cat has stopped ignoring me and has started sitting on my tummy and kneading me (which she did throughout my pregnancy until MC and then stopped), had a stitch walking to and from work today, could smell someone's perfume really strongly at work all day, and my urine seems to be a lot stronger smelling at the moment even though I'm drinking the same amount I normally do.
I know it is waaaaaayyy too early to notice any symptoms even if by some miracle we conceived with the first BD after MC just over a week ago, but this is it: the crazy has been unleashed. I'm also aware my hormones are probably fluctuating and bodies can do weird things after MC with different pains and stuff, and someone probably just sprayed too much perfume on them today.

I'm just hoping AF turns up soon so I calm the F down again (until next cycle Grin), but the doctor said don't even bother getting excited about testing until 22nd May if AF hasn't shown up.

AND breathe.

Blondcat · 03/05/2018 18:13

@boboelephant thanks hoping you are right as it would be nice to know where I am and hope they stay as they were before bfp as it was the cycle I was used to but who knows I guess only time will tell.

@eastend2015 hope you are OK and boss backs off a bit. Been there with the stress from work and knobhead boss! Not for a few years though thankfully got out and so much better for it.

PassTheAfterEights · 03/05/2018 18:06

👋 @Boboelephant I'm great thanks my love, on mobile so can't write the catch up to everyone I want to write but having an ace time, CD14 ish (would be ovulating but for last cycle weirdness so predicted in 2 more days 🤷‍♀️), barely thinking about TTC which is v v nice, partly due to being away and partly a bit losing heart I think but just nice not to be obsessing for the first time in months. How are you??

Thinking of all you girls daily, can't wait to have a proper laptop based catch up on all news. Hope everyone's ok. Huge love 🐧♥️

PS thanks for all holiday wishes, pic from yesterday's hike at Big Bear (fortunately back in the shops/sea today 😅)

Boboelephant · 03/05/2018 17:58

Good luck @hayleyfx!
@L1zz13 you can only do what you both feel comfortable with. My DH knows that around fw I want sex more than any other time but he is just happy for more sex! 🤣 and it's important to try and not make it robotic and just completely stop after ov! I'm sure you guys will sort it. Since mc I get back pain around ov now so maybe that's what that is.
@strawberrye aww hun. I'm sending hugs. It's just all crap.
@Eastend2015 definitely sounds like you need some r&r. Hope your boss lays off a bit.
@cakeandcheese where are you in cycle?

Eastend2015 · 03/05/2018 17:35

Thanks @cakeandcheese yes well looked after thanks. I’m sure it’s the last few months catching up with me but a clear sign I need to try and unwind a bit. It feels like my knobjockey boss is always on my case at the moment so stress levels sky high. Not a good time to TTC!

CD 7 here so FW next week. Fainted on the tube this morning, such a twat! I think it’s the stress but equally no water and a big winter coat didn’t help. This weather is crazy! Ahh well building work is progressing and work has been ok today. Going to have an early night tonight and try and put my feet up!!

strawberrye I’m sorry to hear how you are feeling and can definitely empathise. I know it’s hard but I try and remember when someone is moaning about motherhood that I don’t know their story. They might have struggled for ages to carry a baby then suffered post natal depression. I for one have sat in mums groups and muttered along when people are moaning even though I feel really grateful to have had one healthy DS despite 4 losses.

strawberrye · 03/05/2018 13:45

@boboelephant had the blood test this morning and due the results tomorrow afternoon.

One of my friends messaged me yesterday to say she was pregnant with her second (we're both going to a hen do tomorrow and she wanted to explain why she wasn't drinking). She is probably the nicest person I know and has had some really difficult things happen to her, so I am really happy for her, but it also feels like a bit of a kick in the teeth.

Also just been sat in a cafe doing some work and a group of yummy mummies have just come in all with their 4-6 month old babies and are all complaining about motherhood. Gritting my teeth!

L1zz13 · 03/05/2018 13:44

Thanks @Boboelephant

Fed up with it all. Mostly as I've not got myself covered ( not shagged ( soz I can't bring myself to use the Bd phrase!) since the 29th

I really do not want to demand sex just this purpose it's to demeaning for my hubbo.

Got back ache and feel premenstrual. What's that all about?!

Did another opk this am. Its even paler. Will do another this evening. More I think about it I'm convinced that was my surge!
