@Lilimum4 they're are a type of pregnancy test - First Response Early Response. Not to be confused with First Response Rapid Response! Basically they are super sensitive.

Claire138 · 09/05/2018 12:43

Aw big congrats @sloeberrygin hoping this is a happy and healthy pregnancy!!
@boboelephant your post ovulation symptoms are cruel as they are very like pregnancy symptoms, but at least you now know the swing of your body. Hope the dreaded TWW doesn’t take too long 🤞
@primrose16 what a great milestone! I know there are still many to go but it’s nice to get over one 😊
@L1zz13 all the best for your results. Hope it’s a little miracle 🤞
Fingers crossed for you too @weasledee 🤞🤞

Lilimum4 · 09/05/2018 12:18

What are FRER s please

HidCat · 09/05/2018 11:23

@Anyday88 I would sit tight unless you see line progression in a day or two. The hospitals use a standard test so FRERs can still be positive a couple of weeks later unfortunately. On the plus side you may be entering FW if it is residual.

DBoo · 09/05/2018 10:53

The seven seas are only 2.99 in savers just incase you didnt know. I paid almost 5 for them in morrisons.

Thankyou. Into my second week and feel so much better - its been a long time coming.

Anyday88 · 09/05/2018 10:51

I have just done frer obviously I am not sure of where my cycles are at but if I take the mc as 1st day of period Ovia/Flo have predicted it will be 13/14th.
I am sure there is the faintest of lines! As I said yesterday I haven’t done once since the mc because when they confirmed the mc at the hospital they did one and it was negative!
I feel like I’ve just brought about a whole new level of torture by doing a test! I told myself I wouldn’t until atleast next week but I suddenly found myself in boots this morning!!!

@l1zz13 I hope it’s good news for you!

HidCat · 09/05/2018 10:22

@L1zz13 I'm praying it's good news for you tomorrow hun.

@DBoo I'm also taking Seven Seas, not too much difference in them to Pregnacare but a fair bit cheaper. Good luck at Weight Watchers! I've heard good things.

DBoo · 09/05/2018 10:13

Yes i think cq10 is for either egg quality or cwm i cant quite remember now.

10 pills Shock all worth it if it gets that happy ending tho. One of my b vitamins is like eating a teaspoon of salt. Eugh.

Forgot to say, those trying for a long time have you heard of or tried preseed?always see lots of good things about it on here. Have a lool at 7 seas conception vits too. I got mine because tjey were cheap and have been taking them about 4 months now but i saw something on here about people saying they got their bfps when they started them. Probably coincidence i knowm

zarala · 09/05/2018 10:06

@Sloeberrygin wow congratulations!!! Fx for a healthy and easy pregnancy for you!

There's a lot to catch up on!

I'm also on a whole concoction of pills too since my last MC.
I have been following Dr Shehata's advice - take pregnancare max, 2000iu vitamin D and vitamin C 1000mg from 3 months before TTC
I've also started taking floradix to up my iron levels as I really feel like the MC drained so much out of me- and since I started taking it I've really been feeling a lot better- emotionally and physically.
And then I'm on these Chinese pills which I have no idea what they are but I have to take 10 every night!
Hoping all of this will make my body strong enough to make a healthy baby!
CQ10 sounds good I may also go and add that to the cocktail!

DBoo · 09/05/2018 09:39

Just the kind of informatiom i needed @Boboelephant and everyone else. Thanks so much and thanks for some a warm welcome.

Oh better luck for tomorrow @weasledee.

I noticed clear stretchy ewcm sometime at the wkend dtd fri. Sun. Tue so hopefully in with a shot. Started weight watchers last week too which im hoping is a good thing as i am well into the 30s bmi wise.

L1zz13 · 09/05/2018 09:34

Blood test done. Results tomoz or day after.
Daily hcg poas was still pos. A little lighter than yesterday. The opk was also lighter. Feel sick 🤢

weasledee · 09/05/2018 09:29

Unsurprisingly cake there was no squinter!! Bright white BFN! Grin
But at 9DPO it was never gonna be positive ha ha
Maybe tomorrow Smile

hayleyfx · 09/05/2018 09:11

Just catching up now ladies!!
Started getting EWCM yesterday (CD11) so I think I might actually ovulate normally this month around CD16 and not super late like last month! 🤞
@Sloeberrygin wow congrats!! Fingers crossed for a very sticky bean 🤞
@DBoo so sorry for your losses. Definitely in the right place, everyone here is so lovely!!

To everyone in the TWW good luck! So many of you. Hopefully I’ll be joining you all in a few days!

Cakelaur · 09/05/2018 09:09

@weasledee so??? Squinter????

I can tell cm @DBoo but have never found my cervix!! Weirdly though, both months that I thought.... right I'm gonna find it and figure it all out, I got my bfp haha!!! But I'm still none the wiser!!

sweetpea0318 · 09/05/2018 09:06

@boboelephant - TBH I think I've messed it up as my cm has turned sticky today which is the normal sign that it's game over for the month. Now kicking myself that I didn't do more to track things from the mc leading up to this. I was freaking out about doing a preg test to monitor hcg over the past few weeks and was sticking my head in the sand a bit. Now I'm looking back and wondering why I was being such a wuss!! Especially as it looks as though I've counted myself out for anything happening before first af... My head is such a mess with all this!! Arrgh!

Boboelephant · 09/05/2018 08:17

TMI Alert!!
@DBoo ok I have found the past few months that I get watery cm for about 4 days leading up to fertile week. This is pretty obvious and I can pretty much feel it especially when wiping. My cervix feels high but firm and closed during this time. Then I get about 5 days of EWCM. The last two days this is visible when wiping but the others it is up around my cervix. When I start getting this I can feel that my cervix turns soft and open. I ovulate on the last day of the EWCM so I have it right through the 5 fertile days and then it immediately stops being stretchy and either turns sticky or creamy. The past few months it has been quite sticky and tacky. This month it is creamy like lotion. so of course I am stupidly getting my hopes up
I have found this really helpful and the opks and bbt support this. But tbh I get where you are coming from and if you can hold off obsessing I'd do that! I have been trying for 18 months since my first loss and had an EP so lost a tube reducing my fertility. So now I need every trick I can get!

DBoo · 09/05/2018 07:16

Thanks @cakelaur. I think weve talked before when i've popped onto the board. I'm always hopeful but once i get bfp ill be a mess im sure.

DBoo · 09/05/2018 07:14

If you dont mind me asking @Boboelephant how does it change?

I should check but tbh its a bit of a no go area for me after interventions i had when miscarrying so i just don't fancy it and im trying not to get too obsessed but month 3 and im not doing a great job of trying not to Grin.

weasle that was me first month. Poas days early when i promised myself i wouldnt then absolutely convinced there was a line when there really wasnt. Told myself i wouldnt do the same the next month. Yep i really stuck to that although tbf i think i only tested twice that time.

This month im going to try my best to wait until af is due. Good luck today cant wait to hear how you get on.

Boboelephant · 09/05/2018 07:08

@DBoo I mostly have leading up to ovulation symptoms but for me the cm is the biggest telltale sign. That and I get more in the mood. If you can do it I find since checking my cm and cervix I am much more in the know. My cm then changes very quickly after ovulation.
@L1zz13 wine, peanut butter ice cream and burger bites... are you sure you're not pregnant!? 🤣🤣 on a serious note, good luck today!
@sweetpea0318 I'd keep going too. Mine often get lighter and then bam positive! How many times a day are you testing? It's also possible you missed it if you missed a day. Hopefully not. Are you checking cm too?
@HidCat test away!!
@KnitKitty sorry you're having a tough time. I can relate to to the worry. But you'll get there! Keep doing nice things so life doesn't become all about ttc. Sending hugs.
@weasledee ooh good luck!!

weasledee · 08/05/2018 23:33

Cake I'm going to waste a stick tomorrow! Smile I know 9DPO is way too early and I'll spend all morning looking at it from different angles and in different lights!! Then convince myself there's a squinter, when's there's clearly not! Grin

Cakelaur · 08/05/2018 22:53

@BabynameEdie so chart advice I'd say seeing as you have roughly a 26day cycle, then you've o'd around the right time. Your temps are mega low before ov. In terms of DTD you've got LOADS of good ones. Plenty of swimmers to catch that egg. 🤞🏻our of interest are you temps normally quite low?
But from memory your opks line up as does fertile cm.

@weasledee eek!!! How exciting! When are you testing!? Surely you'll test before POAS Friday?!

@L1zz13 good luck with the bloods tomorrow babe. I have everything crossed for you!

@DBoo so sorry for your losses. You see so upbeat and strong. Fingers crossed you get your happy ending soon.

DBoo · 08/05/2018 22:24

Lovely thank you.

Im enjoying the combo im taking something is really helping with tiredness think maybe the b12 and coq10 but i dont look forward to popping 8 tablets at a time lol.

L1zz13 · 08/05/2018 22:23

@HidCat obsessive! On here! What would give you that impression lol 😂

Test away. Only be prepared to have a notebook that has a mild waft of wee every time you open it! Anyone else relate to that?

weasledee · 08/05/2018 21:58

Hi all, just popping in to say I'm 9DPO tomorrow! The tww has actually gone quite quick! :)

sweetpea0318 · 08/05/2018 21:43

@dboo ubiquinol is a form of coq10 that’s easier to absorb apparently. I found a page on the Marilyn glenville website that listed things that women who miscarry may be low in - selenium & zinc were both on there. I’m not sure I’ll keep all of these going once my supplies run out as I am self medicating here! But hoping they may give me a bit of a boost.

@knitkitty sorry to hear you’ve been struggling. I can’t imagine the ups and downs end until we actually have the longed for baby! Sending hugs x
