Me again with yet more questions-sorry!

I think (hope) AF has arrived today-can you see if what I describe is similar to your experience? Just looking for reassurance that it is AF!...

I'm now 26 days after the start of medical management and bleeding for MMC, main loss was three days later. I had a negative test a week and a half after I took the pills. I've not stopped bleeding/spotting since I took the meds, but over the past week or so it's only been whilst I wipe and has been (sorry tmi) more gloopy/mucosy.

This morning was more like the miscarriage itself-gush of blood, little clots etc and dripping blood, and has been like that everytime I go to the loo (although eased a bit at lunchtime.) also had some cramping.

I'm really hoping this is AF...is it? Thanks lovelies-honestly not sure how idve got through this without the advice and reassurance on this forum. Xxx

MrsLCW · 22/05/2018 14:45

I wonder if you lovely ladies can help me. I've had EWCM slightly yesterday, then more today... does this mean I'm ovulating, or about to ovulate?
Hubby and I DTD twice sat and once Sun, he's not back from work til thurs so no chance to DTD til that night. Feeling like we might be out in our first month of TTC again?
Xx

Boboelephant · 22/05/2018 14:27

@maverick79 once I got a negative i started getting cm so started using opks. I ovulated 4 days after neg test. CM is a very good indicator so I would get bd'ing And get some opks! I had a ERPC but counted that as day 1.
@BabynameEdie glad you're going well!! I have been wondering about you. I'm ok. CD5 so af is finishing up and time to crack on again. Hope it's finally my turn!!
@zarala thanks so much hun. Everything crossed for your results!! That is a ridiculous amount of blood!!
@dulwichdays I hope it doesn't mean you're out but I know the feeling! Fx it goes up again tomorrow.
@SerenaOverjoyed are you going to test??
@DBoo have you tested again??
@MrsLCW glad she was nice!
@YellowDaffodils86 ah crap sorry for the bfn. 🐧
@L1zz13 I'll be your temping buddy. And I'm always bloody here...cheesing it up.
@Mistymeow hmm chart sounds like you ovulated yesterday! Although your body could definitely be a bit all over the shop since ERPC. I also had strong symptoms both for ovulation and af. I use the cheapie opks but I do 3 a day as surge is short. Always get strongest positive about 11pm and fmu is not best. Hope you get some answers soon.

HidCat · 22/05/2018 14:06

@Mistymeow I had horrific PMS and cramps for my period after MC. The symptoms were in and off over a couple of weeks. You could be having a similar problem.

whyhastherumgone · 22/05/2018 12:46

Has anyone tried taking B-100 complex for fertility/quality of eggs? I've been reading about it but unsure if it's the sort of thing you should take off your own back or not...

LilacIris · 22/05/2018 12:45

@Mistymeow I find they work best in the afternoon/evening (not morning) and waiting as long as possible in between each time you have been to the loo. I also use them frequently so can do half a dozen in a day and the line can quickly appear out of nowhere, so if you have a short surge I can see how easy it could be to miss although luckily mine lasts at least two days.

Mistymeow · 22/05/2018 12:41

@LilacIris thanks for the advice. I always struggled with seeing the lines, but I've decided to give it another go and bought another batch.

I am still very confused about my symptoms. I had a confirmed negative test 17 days ago now (2 weeks after ERPC) but I feel like a lot of my pregnancy symptoms are back after they completely disappeared (especially enlarged/sore breasts, cramps and dizziness). Did anyone else have these symptoms post ERPC before the first AF?

LilacIris · 22/05/2018 12:21

@Mistymeow it took me over five weeks to get a negative pregnancy test after my ERPC and then the days to ovulate before AF. I do use the internet cheapies from Amazon. In what way do you find they don’t work? It might be they aren’t for you or it could be that using them an alternative way would work.

Mistymeow · 22/05/2018 10:25

@Boboelephant It's now 25 days since ERPC. I usually have a shorter cycle than most (24/25 days, ovulate earlier too). But as you say it can take 4-6 weeks for af. Anything from this Friday really. I don't think I've seen any EWCM like I usually would. I just got a new BBT thermometer and I've been averaging 36.4 since early last week, climbing to 36.7 for a few days, a dip yesterday (36.58) then to 37.73 today. I'm following all the temping rules too. I just think the ERPC has thrown everything off causing the temps to be erratic.

Sending lots of love to everyone this week! By the way, what opks to people use? I tried some cheap ones from amazon but I couldn't get them to work, and the fancy digital ones are too expensive for me.

L1zz13 · 22/05/2018 10:08

@YellowDaffodils86 don't give up! I need a buddy. Bought a new thermometer and everything lol to make sure I get an accurate bbt graph.

Brown snot is doing my head in not to mention the back ache I've had all month.
I actually beginning to wonder if the brown snot is AF?!? My temp is still quite high 37•c and heart rate is still high too (although that may or may not mean anything).
Can't decide if I'm depressed or just real bad PMS! I'm quite strong minded and know I can get through this. Just desperate to find a focus in life right now.
At least the sun I shining in Milton Keynes land!
Xx

YellowDaffodils86 · 22/05/2018 09:59

@hayleyfx thanks, im not hopeful though. Its not looking positive, in all sense of the word lol.

@SerenaOverjoyed it seems we are twins.
Im still waiting.

@BabynameEdie glad all is ok, probably nit a bad thing to have mind distracted.
I am now 16dpo. Possible to be maybe a day or two less, but doubt it.

@dulwichdays Fx for you, you never know.

I did a FRER this morning, big ol negative.
No AF just brown mucus (TMI) im sure she will be here soon but wish shed hurry up.

I dont know if i will chart next month, i only do opks to be honest but thinking i will just try and forget about it all for a bit.
I will probably not do this at all😂.
Its only the 2nd cycle since mc, but it feels like the 10th!!

LilacIris · 22/05/2018 09:43

Hi everyone, I’ve name changed but was a previous lurker/occasional poster but the thread always moved so fast for me.

I’m sorry to see so many familiar names still struggling and I hope it isn’t much longer to wait for you

I’d decided not to try last cycle (my due date based on my LMP would have been my daughter’s birthday) but my period has unexpectedly arrived today, so I think I will try this cycle or at least get back into properly tracking my cycles.

MrsLCW · 22/05/2018 09:12

Morning ladies, I've got everything crossed for those of you with late AFs, and sending big hugs for those she's turned up to, the cow!!
I've just gotten back from my appointment with lead midwife. It was just for some bloods and things to rule out some other clotting disorders, however she said absolutely crack on TTC, and to phone her directly the day I get my positive pregnancy test and they will get the ball rolling there and then. She was absolutely lovely, and I only had one little cry when she asked if Penny was our first and I tried to explain we'd had a loss at 9 weeks beforehand. Never gets easier!!
Off to work I go now, just having a sneaky Diet Coke in the car before I go in! Xx

whyhastherumgone · 22/05/2018 08:23

@serenaoverjoyed good luck, hope it's not just lateness!

@zarala hello I remember you too! Under you under investigations now? I'm going to go see my doctor this week but doubt he will count the chemical :-/ That's a LOT of blood they took from you - how do you have any left?? Grin

SerenaOverjoyed · 22/05/2018 08:17

Yellowdaffofils86 I think we're cycle twins!

AF was due yesterday but no sign of her (other than fatness). I think she's just late though, I don't get spotting usually. My boobs are sensitive but not really sensitive enough.

dulwichdays · 22/05/2018 08:12

@cakelaur - sadly I think not at 12dpo...

@dulwichdays ..... implantation dip??? 🤞🏻

DBoo · 22/05/2018 07:09

Mine are definitely not bigger or veiny and usually my nips darken and none of that either.

For those asking about progesterone i managed to get it prescribed from an understanding gp in my last pregnancy after she discussed with my consultant. I got to 14+2 woth a triploidy baby whos hb then stopped (always would have). I often wonder if the pregnancy lasted so long because of the baby aspirin and progesterone as i bled on and off from 6 weeks. That being said the hb still stopped and the consultants opinion was there is no conclusive evidence the progesterone stops mc but it causes no harm either.

Already got it lined up with my gp for a repeat prescription the next time i get a bfp. They could only prescribe 200mg a day (recommended is 400mg) but she was happy for me to use them as i wanted seen as tho on repeat. Lovely gp.

Be warned if u get any (cyclogest) its into the vagina but a lot of people go the back way. I got horrendous thrush on it so definitely the back way for me next time. Delightful lol!

dulwichdays · 22/05/2018 06:14

@yellowdaffodils86 - 🤞🏻 for you. Let’s hope we get more BFP this month.
@boboelephant - I’m working my way backwards in the fridge. Large drop in BBT today (despite not expecting AF until Thursday). Obviously I’ve told myself that it’s still fractionally above cover line, I wasn’t fully asleep for the hour before I took it and lots of other excuses. But I probably just need to face the writing that’s on the wall and accept that again this month isn’t my month and I’ve well and truely missed any fertility boost!

zarala · 21/05/2018 23:51

@SerenaOverjoyed yes my colleague did that- she just went out and bought some and convinced her gp to give her progesterone and her next pregnancy was successful! She told me this after my second MC and now I wonder whether that could have saved my 3rd MC...but hey ho! It wasn't meant to be - really shouldn't go down that what if avenue...

@L1zz13 hahaha your post about chainsaw massacre made me laugh! But I'm sorry you're going through this/ does not sound fun at all! And that's so sweet that you buried it- really lovely

@KnitKitty yes I only started getting ovulation pains after ERPC- and last month it was for a full 5 days! So I am sure you've caught it!!! Good luck for his interview on Wednesday and hope you have more celebrating fun times in the bedroom 🤸🏼‍♀️😊

@Pampl3m0usse I think I missed your post earlier- so sorry for everything that you've had to go through. Lots of penguin 🐧 huddles for you! And welcome to this group of awesome women!

@DBoo & @YellowDaffodils86 sounds exciting girls!!! Fx for you that it is what I think it is! 🤞🏽

@whyhastherumgone hi! I remember your name from a couple months ago! Sorry you're going through this! Sending you hugs!
And Also- traditional Chinese doctors use the pulse to determine pregnancy- they can tell from conception! Because as you said heart rate goes up! So yes it is definitely a sign!

@maverick79 that's interesting about the promise trial! So many people swear by progesterone and Dr Shehata gives to everyone! With regards to ovulation I've never tracked my cycle we just try and do it every other night from about 3-4 days after my period has ended for about 2 weeks or until I can't be bothered anymore haha. I am a strong supporter of the JKS 🤸🏼‍♀️ movement 😂 probably not the help you're looking for! But...!

@Boboelephant sending you massive penguin 🐧 hugs! Sorry this wasn't your month. It is just not fair at all ! But don't despair- I know it's taking a long time but it will happen for you very soon!

I am just waiting for stinky Chinese herbs to be ready so I can down it and go to bed-
I have another 2 weeks to wait before I get my results from Dr Shehata so I'm anxiously waiting for that appointment
Look how much blood they took from me! And I've got to go back when AF next comes for even more !

Anyway good night ladies !

BabynameEdie · 21/05/2018 22:54

@YellowDaffodils86 those all sound like promising symptoms but it's so hard to know. How many dpo are you?
Thanks for saying hi, I'm doing ok thanks, not really feeling it's real yet and am hugely busy with work this week so mind slightly taken off it all which is probably good.
@Boboelephant how are you doing?

Penguin huddles to everyone in the tww, new to the thread or anywhere else in their cycles. Baby dust to you all 💕🐧

hayleyfx · 21/05/2018 21:46

@YellowDaffodils86 just read your post and got so excited for you, yay sickness 🤣 fx that af stays well away!! 🤞
@Boboelephant 🤞🤞
@Wellthisisunexpected just want to say - I’m testing on Thursday or Friday too!! Not feeling too hopeful but everything crossed that we both have good news to share 😊
@Littlegoth and @whyhastherumgone so sorry for your losses and welcome. Hope you both find this thread as helpful and supportive as I have 😊
@Lilimum4 sorry you’re feeling so rubbish. I had a chemical in March too, I thought I was getting my rainbow baby but sadly not. I felt the exact same way as you. It’s a rubbish feeling but just know that you’re doing nothing wrong, it’s not your fault. Sending you lots of hugs, I hope you’re feeling better soon 💕
@maverick79 I’m not sure what is right in that sense or what others have done but I classed the day I passed the sac as CD1. I used OPK’s from cd8 or 9 and I ovulated on CD18. Surprisingly it turned out to be a pretty normal cycle for me, shocked me quite a bit. Incase I missed it though I just kept dtd from about CD8 every 2-3 days for a couple weeks. Good luck for whenever you decide to start ttc again!! 🤞

MrsLCW · 21/05/2018 21:43

@whyhastherumgone my first symptom both times has been a stinking cold... I'm praying for a snotty nose this time next week! X

whyhastherumgone · 21/05/2018 21:38

This probably isn't going to help the 2ww insanity but every time I've been pregnant (3 times now, no children) my resting heart rate has dipped just before ovulation that crept up and stayed up/kept going up when I've been pregnant even before I could take the earliest tests.

I wear a fitbit so track it religiously as I'm a stats geek.

Think there was a thread on it at some point...

YellowDaffodils86 · 21/05/2018 21:35

@DBoo i hope she stays away for you.
Haha i know, i keep looking to see if they are veiny or bigger etc.
