@BabynameEdie thank you! I agree this thread is so supportive and lovely, helps so much. Keeping everything crossed for a H&H pregnancy for you! Thank you, fingers crossed I’ll be joining you! Grin x

hayleyfx · 16/05/2018 09:06

Oh btw quick question ladies, I’m meant to be getting my hair done on Friday morning so I’ll be 3dpo. I was going to get some highlights put in (so will have bleach in it) but is this okay during the tww? If there’s any risk at all I’ll just get a trim and tidy up (which I need anyway 😂) but I don’t know. I had a look online and I’ve just read conflicting advice. Anyone know if it’s alright? I’m overly cautious and such a worrier, just don’t want to do anything to jeopardise things haha!!

BabynameEdie · 16/05/2018 09:05

@hayleyfx thanks lovely, that's reassuring to hear. Sorry you had to go through a chemical too. Everyone here has been through so much but still has so much love and kindness to give. Am so grateful to you all, I would have gone (more) mad without you all. I started testing at 8dpo this month so I'm with you on that front! Just couldn't stop myself.. hope your tww flies by and ends up in a pot of gold / baby dust xx

Cakelaur · 16/05/2018 09:04

@Lilimum4 YES!!!! Defo a line!!! No squinter there!!

hayleyfx · 16/05/2018 08:57

@BabynameEdie omg congrats hun!! Amazing. Fx for a very sticky bean. Also I totally understand your worry but I had a chemical pregnancy in March and my lines never got even as dark as your one they stayed super faint, so fx this is a sticky bean! 🤞
@Lilimum congrats to you too! That’s a good line for 8/9dpo!! 😊 fx for a sticky bean for you also 🤞

I’m only 1dpo and think I’m going to test at 10dpo so 9 days to go... 🤦‍♀️ I know I should wait longer but with all these BFP’s it’s impossible! I wanna join in 🤣

Lilimum4 · 16/05/2018 08:49

Thanks ladies I'll wait until I miss AF to count my chickens. Baby dust to everyone and sticky glue for all the bfp's.

Boboelephant · 16/05/2018 08:49

@Lilimum4 what a line!!! Congrats!!!
@BabynameEdie no not at all. I'm stoked for you!!! Just scared for me!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 16/05/2018 08:47

Oh wow there's so much to catch up on around here.

Congrats to those with BFPs. Really hope they all stick for you!!

@Lilimum4 Looks positive to me!

BabynameEdie · 16/05/2018 08:46

@Lilimum4 that's a bfp if I ever saw one! As someone else said, I don't know how a cyst could produce hcg? Pretty sure this is excellent news for you!!

BabynameEdie · 16/05/2018 08:45

@Boboelephant oh I'm sorry, I kinda know what you mean though. I was on such a roll and had seen so many bfns in last four days that I just went for it & another bfn wouldn't have surprised me too much. But I totally hear what you're saying. When I first got pregnant in January I didn't test until about 20dpo and it was super strong. I hope I haven't made your day harder today, I wish I could look into the future to reassure you that it will all be absolutely fine and you will get your bfp. I really really really couldn't want it anymore for you this month 💕💕
My temp went up slightly from 36.20 to 36.27 what about you? X

Lilimum4 · 16/05/2018 08:44

@DBoo

What do you think

TTC after Pregnancy Loss Thread 20 - Fx for 2019 babies
Boboelephant · 16/05/2018 08:40

@BabynameEdie I think y oiur DH is right. You took the test very late so not going to be a huge amount of difference. I was too scared to test today after seeing your good news. I thibk I'm just going to blindly hope as I can't stand the disappointment if it's negative. What did your chart do today??

DBoo · 16/05/2018 08:39

Congrats @babynameedie. Have you tested again this morning?

@lilimum4 i have never heard of cysts causing bfps. Can you post a pic?

BabynameEdie · 16/05/2018 08:25

Thanks everyone. I'm more than a bit nervous about it, this morning is just about the same strength of line so pretty faint still. DH pointed out that there was only about 6 hrs between the two tests but am still ok edge about it. Worst case scenario is a chemical pregnancy or full blown MC later on as happened in Feb. I don't know much about chemical pregnancies 🤷🏻‍♀️
@Boboelephant this has to be your month too, our charts are so so similar! 🤞
@Cakelaur don't cry! You're so sweet, I wish I could be excited but I guess you know the feeling..

Martydog · 16/05/2018 08:24

@babynameedie yeah!!! Congratulations

Lilimum4 · 16/05/2018 08:16

Opps typo frer not free lol

Lilimum4 · 16/05/2018 08:15

Morning ladies how is everyone doing?

So I caved and tested free twice. Two very squinty lines ( but I am only 8/9 dpo) but I'm a bit worried that this is my cyst talking. Has anyone else ever had this or heard of this happening.

Cakelaur · 16/05/2018 07:54

@BabynameEdie 😭 I'm so happy for you I can't stop crying!!!! I KNEW it was gonna be your month!!!! Omg just wanna hug you!!! What did your chart do this morning?! Can't wait to see how dark the line is today with FMU! Omg omg omg!!! MAY MIRACLES!!!

@DaisyMay25 sorry the appointment wasn't that helpful. I found Drs to be rather blasé about the whole TTC advice. Sending hugs!

Claire138 · 16/05/2018 07:34

Awww big congrats @babynameedie definitely a BFP!!
@daisymay25 I hope you are ok. Not the most useful of comments 🙄 but it interesting like the others have said about how you your emotions are impacting you physically. This is obviously not a solution but maybe you should spend some time pampering yourself like a spa day or weekend getaway. It won’t deal with your emotions directly but it might be nice for your body to have some time out and chill.

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 16/05/2018 07:22

@daisy those comments piss me off as well sorry it wasn't the most helpful of appointments.
@babynamededie congratulations that's not even a squinter saw it straight away !

weasledee · 16/05/2018 07:12

Babyname! Congratulations!!

HidCat · 16/05/2018 06:56

@BabynameEdie definitely positive last night!

@DaisyMay25 I hope you're doing ok. Sometimes healing takes longer than we expect, I hope everything gets better soon. 💐🍫

Boboelephant · 16/05/2018 06:44

@BabynameEdie ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! I'm so happy for you!

Boboelephant · 16/05/2018 06:43

@DaisyMay25 I also find that comment very unhelpful. I know medically they are saying it as being able to conceive puts us in a very different field to those who can't at all but it just feels like a useless insensitive comment.
The mental health comment is very interesting. There are definitely numerous studies on how unprocessed grief can manifest with psychosomatic symptoms so could be true. I think it's definitely worth trying to work through your anger around your losses, I've found it helpful. That said your body does also change after loss and become more alert to symptoms. And finally the condition I have which causes pain apparently becomes worse after each pregnancy so could be something like that too as I never had an pain before my EP! Hope you get some answers soon.

BabynameEdie · 16/05/2018 00:30

@DaisyMay25 I'm so sorry, I hadn't seen your post below. Sounds like a mixed appt, how are you feeling after it? I know what you mean about 'if you've conceived once at least you know you can' - makes me want to hit something! I think a lot of that is that they just don't know what to say and want to give a positive reaction, when really that's just not helpful or appropriate.
I think what you explained about her thoughts on noticing symptoms more once we've been through MC is really interesting. I've certainly become hyper alert and sensitive to ovulation pain (serious aching back, sharp dagger like pains, dizziness and more) and I honestly couldn't have told you anything about my cycle pre MC. Hope you're ok and sorry for my insensitive outburst 💕🐧
