New thread...

Hi all

Rainbowdays - how are you? Sorry you are getting mixed readings. Maybe its because you are so early. Have you taken another test today. Hope its a BFP for you!

Thinking - hope your cycles sort themselves out. I hated having a long cycle, had a couple of long ones after Bertie, its horrible not knowing where you are with AF! BF defo could be the reason, in fact don't some people use it as contraception?

fettleandminifettle - good to hear from you.. hope all is well. Thanks for checking up on us. It won't be long I am sure that a few of us will be joining new threads. I'm sure its just a matter of a couple of months...

Gracie - so sorry this was not your month! Don't worry about any negative emotions - I think most of us are feeling the same at the moment. Hopefully see you back soon.

Ready - TTC has had such an effect on your positive side. I promise you it will happen and your positive side will spring back into action. When we were TTC before Bertie it took us 18 months TTC, as soon as I was pregnant those feeling went out the window, all was forgotten!

Rattling/Duchesse - not heard from you guys for a while, hope you are both OK.

Hope everyone else is well. Take Care XX

Thinking · 29/07/2007 20:08

Thanks for your kind words fettleandminifettle

I think it is my breastfeeding hormones causing my odd cycles and as we are just 'letting things happen'. I need to learn to chill out and wait. As my DH said today, we can have fun practicing and it doesn't matter if we concieve this year or next and he is right.

Thanks for letting me know that it is possible to ovulate during lomg cycles...that is interesting

fettleandminifettle · 29/07/2007 19:26

Hi girls

Just popping in to check on my old temping buddies and I couldn't help but notice your post Thinking? I hope you don't mind me posting, but I used to have really long cycles, varying 36 to 67 days! My last proper AF was on 20th Oct 2006! I conceived in Dec after about a 57 day cycle, which I unfortunately mc, but then conceived this pg, almost immediately afterwards. So there is point to carrying on trying - have you tried to speaking to your GP about your long cycles? Sorry if I'm poking my nose in where it is not wanted.

Take care everyone else.
xxx

Gracie, Sorry the witch turned up Hurry back when you feel better.

I'm still in limbo land, I can't even be bothered to test today. there is no point, I think I didn't ovulated at all this month and I am in the middle of another long cycle for me Well last one was 50 days, so only another couple of weeks to AF turning up.

I so wish AF would come regularly, is there anything I can do to regulate my cycles, I WANT to see the witch. At least then I have a chance of getting pregnant, those long cycles are just depressing. No chance of anything happening

Sorry to sound so down, when I know many of you ladies are TTC1 or been trying much longer than me or both

I just think it is pointless to even try if your cycles are 50 days long

RainbowDays Not sure what to say. I am thinking of you and pleased you got a faint BFP today.

Ready Sorry you are feeling down, when you need us we'll be here.

Rainbowdays · 28/07/2007 19:49

Ready - {{{{hugs}}}}, I hope that the break from here does you good and you come bouncing back soon.

Well it serves me right for testing early (clear blue fairy should be telling me off), today I got another faint bfp so I don't know where I am at. I am definitely pg at the moment, but not sure if this one will stay put or not. Have to be patient for a few days and wait and see. Either way I will probrably not be going back to ttc, as I have just been booked for an operation in Sept. which requires a general anaethetic, so will not be intentionally getting pg before then if this little buba does not make it.

You have all gone quiet today, I hope all is ok with you all???!!!

Ready · 27/07/2007 13:28

Rainbowdays

Ladies... I just wanted to pop in to say sorry for not being around the last few days. I am not in a happy place at the moment, and I need to step away from MN.

Not conceiving is really taking its toll on me and my emotions.

Fingers and toes are crossed that you all get your BFPs real soon.

Rainbowdays · 27/07/2007 07:03

Hi folks, well this morning it was a BFN so I guess it was a chemical pregnancy. Obviously I will test again tomorrow just to check.

RahRah1 · 26/07/2007 22:10

Howdy peeps...

Been so busy today. Hope everyone is OK.

Does my eyes deceive me or is there a BFP on our thread????

CONGRATULATIONS Rainbows..so pleased for you. Sending you lots of hugs and kisses XXx

alinjosh · 26/07/2007 21:48

hi nappyvalley i have discarded that temp but ff still got me at cd27 for ovulation

NappyValley · 26/07/2007 14:38

Rainbow there is gold at the end of it! I am sure you are extremely nervous but sending you lots of hugs and toughts of good cell division!!!

Ali - I think you are right, that 37.7 is a high temp - a mild fever so to speak. I would discard that temp and I think FF will still think you have not ovulated this cycle. Could be annovulatory cycle this month. Not the news you would want. "Thinking" will sympathise with you no doubt.

Thinking did you feel sicky 2 cycle ago when your body was playing tricks? Cos it does sound suspicious, maybe a test on saturday is in order, but try not to get your hopes up, but I have everyhting crossed for you.

alinjosh · 26/07/2007 13:26

hi nappyvalley well my temp dropped again this morning to 36.45 im now thinking that the 2 very high temps might have been a fever as had sore throat and face felt like on fire but not sure

Rainbowdays, Wow, my heart just jumped when I saw your BFP...many congratulations and sending sticky vibes to your little bean.

Hmm, FF gave me more lines, which makes me 16DPO. Starting to wonder if the small bleed I got on CD32 was an implantation bleed? Unlikely but alongside this queasy burping bug I have at the moment I might retest at the weekend or am I wasting money ?

ooo looks like OV might be imminent as had EWCM yesterday. Might escape the need for Holiday Camp Nookie! There is no internet access there, so I won't be able to keep you updated of my exploits like rah did in Wales!!

I am no expert but looking at your chart, with the OPK +ve and temp rise it certainly does look like a very late ovulation.

It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. But I suspect this has been a rather odd cycle for you. Have you been at all unwell recently? HTH

heres link to my chart

NappyValley · 25/07/2007 21:05

I find navigating in FF really hard. How do I see your chart?

alinjosh · 25/07/2007 20:48

temp was 36.74

alinjosh · 25/07/2007 20:47

i am on cd 34 and ff says i ovulated cd 27 puzzled as cycles never over 30 days so am 7dpo and massive dip today can someone please take a peak at my chart and tell me what u think

Rattling - Sorry about AF bloody witch when will she get the hint, I'm expecting to be joining you soon

Rainbowdays - I think your right about day 23 being ovulation so would be 9dpo, thanks for that

Thinking - My normal cycle length is between 27 and 29 days so thats proberbly why I was getting excited as well as thinking ovulation was day 14 - but looking at the chart now it definately didn't happen until day 23. So what I really need to do is chill out and stop being a mad early tester
Also I had an annovoltary cycle about 4 cycles ago and it lasted 52 days - so lets hope you can start over again soon
