Hi all,

Ready - Your right it does only take one and at least we did bd once in the fertile time which is better than nothing, its just made me realise since starting to temp that I may have been very wrong on some months with when ovulation occured and could have missed it altogether so its making me realise that at least

Thinking - I had a cycle that was 52 days which I presume was annov - doctor thought it was due to stress of ttc and said I should try to relax we were going on holiday two days later and sure enough a couple of days in the witch arrived. Not sure if that helps at all and I'm not saying it is possible for you to relax as I can't bear that advice being given to me but just thought I would share it with you.

Anyway had a lovely weekend especially as weather has been gorgeous, hope you have all had a good one too

Ready · 12/08/2007 16:35

Rah - No need to rush Sounds like you had a busy day! We have toyed with doing a car boot before, but we are too lazy to get up early enough, and end up giving it to charity instead

Thinking - Sorry to hear that you are still in limbo-land. What are your cycles normally like? I have no idea about the length of annov cycles, are you sure you are not PG?

RahRah1 · 12/08/2007 16:20

Howdy peeps

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Thanks Ready for the email I will answer ASAP! But today I did a car boot sale with my sister. We got £222!! But my mum gave us a float of £60 which we kept..LOL. My mum and dad are moving house and we had some serious junk and really could of done about 3 or 4 boot sales and raise a lot more money. We had two cars full and I have a people carrier! But in our usual style we could not be bothered and dumped the rest at the tip! I'm soooooo knackered its un-real! We were up at 5.30am, but I woke up at 2.30am and did not really sleep well as got paranoid about all our booty in the cars being robbed! Yes I am mad! and they would of done us a favour!

One very tied Rah is off for a bath and serious scrub and then bed! Catch you all laters!

Well, I'm STILL in limbo land. Day 51 and counting and FF has finally taken away my lines, so now we both agree that I didn;t ovulate. Any idea how long non-ovulating cycles can be ? Just carrying my mooncup with me all the time, just in case

Ready · 11/08/2007 14:15

Hiya girls. I am back. Not really temping properly at the moment, certainly not daily like before. But I will add myself to the list, and just add my temp on the days I remember.

How is everyone? I have missed lots I think and there's no way I will be able to read everything and catch up... anyone fancy bringing me up to speed? Any BFPs that I should know about?

Minxi - Have a lovely holiday I am sorry that you are having such mixed emotions at the moment. Hugs.

RahRah1 · 11/08/2007 08:35

Minxi Have a fantastic holiday!!!! In my book from the fertility clinic it actually tells you to go on holiday! As apparently its a good time to eat well and relax and people get pregnant! Proven fact! Its in my book from the clinic!
Have a good one!

Hello to everyone else...

Thinking I hope your cycle sorts itself out for you

Have a good weekend all!

NappyValley · 10/08/2007 17:42

As usual I am joining back in when things start to get interesting for me - expect ov. any day, though temps this month have been a bit erratic. Feeling optimistic still - think that we came very close last month, I had a temp dip at 6dpo and 2 days later the tiniest bleed. Obviously just going mad, but hey, whatever keeps you going.

Don't think I could keep so chirpy if I had to cope with 50 day cycles - Thinking, how are you managing?

NappyValley - I had the exact same conversation with a doctors receptionist - I was talking from my lab at work, with many people about so very difficult to make her understand that "normal" didn't quite cut it as a result.

Ready, hope you have managed to break away completely, sounded like you needed to, but just in case you are lurking, best wishes for getting your bounce back soon - not the same without you.

NappyValley · 09/08/2007 21:20

Rah, Rainbow thanks for sharing monthly BD quantities. I feel so much more normal now!! btw don't forget to have some fun as well at other times. My DH doesn't call the ones that count sex - he says they are jsut sperm donations. At least he is realisitic!!

Also in way of encouragement with DS we only managed 2 times in a 24hr window when we finally cracked it!

Where is everyone?

Rainbow how are you sweetie. Must be going crazy I am sure. I never got a positive until I was 5w if that is any consolation. You are in my thoughts.

Thinking - is this now you record? btw are you still BF as that may well be affecting your hormones, even though you have had some regular cycles. I guess it is a bit like when we all started as teenagers! I had my first af and then nothing for 6 months!!

NappyValley · 09/08/2007 15:47

WHERE IS EVERYONE?? RANT ALERT PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Just heard back from Doctors, as I chased them about blood test results. The receptionist kindly informed me that they came back "Normal" - MEANING WHAT!!!!!!
Did that mean I ovulated, did it mean that my hormone levels were normal but but but

I am so PMS at the moment and have the shortest fuse. I could scream . I hate doctors at the best of times (worst bit about pregnancy if you ask me - oh apart from the constant exhaustion and sickness and fatness and 90hrs of labour).

I have to go and see the Health visitor on monday for DS check up. I hope I don't burst into tears or she will have me on anti depressants!! Oh why oh why am I getting so hacked off should I not be celebrating that my hormones are doing a merry dance. Maybe I have just had a bad day, or maybe the constant cramping in my stomach (for 3 days now which si very rare for me - sorry those for which it is normal).

OK PITY PRATY OVER WITH [SMILE]

Time to get on with it and do some more work. Thanks for listening girls I feel a lot calmer now.

NappyValley · 08/08/2007 13:53

Morning lovelies:

Rah I have only stopped drinking as (if you look elsewhere on MN) you will see that kids drive you to drink!! [smile} I love my cold bottle of beer of and evening as a celebration of putting the toddler to bed. However I was wondering if it might be affecting my fertility so thought I should stop (I only need 1 bottle to be tipsy such a lightweight). But as for drinking sooooo many people drink in the 2ww before realising they are pregnant. There is no umbilical cord and much less risk to baba. I suggest if you can not drink once you know you are pregnant then do, but once I reached 12 weeks I used to allow myself 1 unit a night up to 2 times a week if I wanted and baby is fine - although does seem to like the taste of his dad's bitter!!! . Rah don't worry drink if you feel like, we meed some comforts after all

Forgot top say congrats on house btw.

Minxi you (like me) must find it amazing that we can create life and give birth and then our bodies seem to forget what to do!! So very weird. Well am glad you are sounding chilled out and relaxed.

Gracie - sorry you are feeling low. It gets to us all at times. And stay off the standard TTC threads, both my hubby and I laughed out loud at 1 poor love who was worried after falling with dc1 on first attempt, was now trying for number 2 and was not pregnant after 2 cycles. (hope she is not reading this ). I now avaio the other threads as I feel safe and loved here among friends.

minxi · 08/08/2007 11:16

Morning girls....

Hope all is well cd26 today - have done no temping and didn't take clomid this month as was away the crucial time...not feeling too hopeful as only bd once during ov....would have to be a miracle anyway as its now 2 years 8 months since that depo injection!!! and I have lost all hope of it ever happening again...not in a bad way just resigning myself to the fact can't imagine it ever happening but okay with it (maybe thats because no clomid this month so not as crazy as the last 4 cycles)

Sorry to see you at the top nappy...

Rah - glad to see you chirpy..

Must confess to having several wines during the weekend (ds2 was 4 years old and had lots of family and friends over) I too have got to the point that could be here for ever putting my life on hold so haven't stopped enjoying myself now.... af due Friday/Saturday - back to clomid and away for August so you never know miracles may happen - hopefully to us all!!

Will have no access during August so hope to come back to see several BFP's

Ready - if you are lurking hope you are ok x

Everyone else - enjoy the summer...!

RahRah1 · 08/08/2007 11:06

Morning all..

I'm working from home today, so will pop in and out. But have loads of work on and deadlines to meet... Bla Bla Bla

Sorry to see you at the top Nappy...Glad to hear you did some retail therapy and planning a head!

I have given up on drinking in my cycle, I just do it when I want now , as can't be doing with planning when to drink and when not too...This TTC has been going on for too long to stop my life... .... Am I thinking about this in the wrong way and should not be drinking in my 2WW? I feel guilty now???

Thinking · 08/08/2007 09:18

Sorry to see you at the top again NappyValley but you seem to be in good spirits and it sounds as if you enjoyed your wine.

I must confess I have the odd drink between AF arriving and ovulation and then remain alcohol free the rest of the month. But as my cycles are getting longer I really want a wine, so I gave in at the weekend and had a couple of glasses.

Gracie, I just wanted to send you some (((Hugs))), I am so sorry you are feeling down at the moment...great to see you here though the thread has benn soooo quiet recently.

Yes here was are again back at the top. But I am totally fine.

like RahRah I was wondering where everyone is. Sorry Rah that you have been feeling so blue. I cracked open a bottle of wine tonight after over a month on the wagon, but am sticking to the no alco rule from tomorrow. I have to admit I think it is good for me.

My other confession was that I bought 3 maternity tops in a shop last week. they were just so nice, in the sale AND totally work as normal wear (funmum.com), it made me feel a lot better too.

At least my cycle has really settle down and my period is right on time, and that in itself is a good stepping stone.

Anyway for those of an anti religious nature stop reading now...

Week away was great as I feel much more at peace with things. I have been feeling really angry with God, but I gradually started talking to Him again this week, and I just feel much more at peace and know that God's timing is perfect, even if it is totally different to my own. He is faithful and does love me.

Hi everyone,

Rah - Sorry to hear you have been sad I've been the same I'm afraid (not in my 2ww yet) I'm really struggling with not concieving it will be a year since I started trying next month which is why I've been staying away not coping very well with the BFP's on the ttc threads and if I come on mumsnet can never resist having a look.

Congrats on the house though, thats great news its lovely when it all comes together and shopping for it is even more fun

Good luck in your 2ww, fingers crossed for you

RahRah1 · 07/08/2007 19:37

Now you Temp buddies.... where are you all????

I'm in my 2WW and totally miserable. Had a good cry last night.. ....Hate the waiting.

But good news is I have brought a new house in Leamington Spa. Its a 3 bed detached and will be ready in the new year (new build) so my house is on the market and we got a dependent offer the first day! WOOOHOOO

Trouble is I want to go out now and buy loads of new stuff!!! I'm looking forward to the Jan sales.... YIPPPPPPEEEE

Hope everyone is well... XX
