Hello Lurvely People!
Have added myself to bottom of list. Temp was 36.4 again this morning so think you are right, I haven't ovulated yet this cycle. Normally I have classic 28 cycles but it took 6 weeks for AF to come back after m/c so maybe this cycle is going to be a long one too....hey ho, gotta keep bonking then

PS where the flip is the degree symbol on the keyboard?? (sorry, Dime Bar Moment)

jess1996 · 20/05/2007 10:09

I'm confused now. AF cramps stopped and AF never materialised . Sore boobs have returned .

seaside72 · 19/05/2007 22:38

Iwillbe - lovely to see you back!

beansprout - sorry you have had a grumpy one - and are feeling stuck - hope Sunday is happier

Jess - rubbish about AF symptoms - on the plus side a short cycle brings next OV around quicker Some months I would start geting brown cm/spotting at 10dpo and would just make it to 12dpo before the next cycle started. Our cylcles have a mind of their own - just when you think you know what's coming they like to throw you off track!

basil temps look like classic pre-ov as everyone else said. Do add yourself into the list with CD and usual LP length (if you know it)

Hi everyone else - I am back home now and am going to flop into bed - hope you are all doing OK - xxx

beansprout · 19/05/2007 21:29

Jess - I'm sorry to hear that. You ok?

jess1996 · 19/05/2007 18:54

I am having af pains and have brown cm. I think af is on her way and I'm only 11dpo. I've never ever had such a short cycle. I'm well and truly p**d off.

Hello everyone and a big welcome to basil!! I also think you may have not ovulated yet. My pre ov temp is around 36.4 and post ov is 36.7/8, although today's 36.9 is a record high! Do you know what CD you are on? Please feel free to add yourself to the list.

I am foul and grumpy today. Dh is v busy at the moment and I am just feeling stuck - at work, at home, and with this stupid body of mine. I think the 2ww may be getting to me.

Iwillbe and minxi- good to see you but sorry that AF is on her damn way (again). Good luck with the moonwalk minxi, I'm v impressed!!
Rah - sorry about your CD1 as well, so miserable to be there again. I really feel for you.

Lottie - if you are around, I'm really sorry to hear your news. I hope you are taking good care of yourself.

Ready - have you ov yet?

Seaside - that's an impressive list my friend. How are you today? And MrsMcJnr are you ok too?

Nappy am with you on the change to BU and after this many cycles I am sick of the sight of 'em!! Hope you have a good trip - which seaside are you at?

Duchesse, Jess, everyone else hope you are all ok and having a good weekend.

iwillbepgbydec2007 · 19/05/2007 11:39

hello chicks!!

its so nice to be back online again after soooo long away have had no end of trouble with internet connection but all seems ok now

how brilliant to come back to such exciting news!!! CONGRATULATIONS MRSMCJNR AND SEASIDE!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

i cant believe you got your bfp so quick mrsmc you are so so lucky i really hope this time it all pans out well and your condition gets looked at straightaway!!

seaside - wow! after 14 months you really have given me hope that it IS possible for me, im really really pleased you and dp must be over the moon especially after beginning all of your fertility tests too!

i havnt had much of a chance to read and see whats going on -just skim reading really!!

welcome to basil brush! and sorry for everyone whos af arrived

i am guessing i will be at the top of the list again tomorrow as af due anytime soon, i went for my cd21 blood test last monday so ringing up for results this monday. i havnt temped this month - only at the beginning i kind of gave up as we went camping on the "crucial days" so knew in them conditions my temp would not be accurate so decided to leave it at home!

ready - hello! i hope everything is ok with you? saw you posted you had lots going on at home, nothing bad i hope?

rahrah, minxi, mum03,beansprout howdie!! hope you are allkeeping well and shagged for england this month!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 19/05/2007 11:21

basilbrush - sounds like you haven't ov'd yet to me so you might still be in time for this month! my pre ov temps were always 36.3 or 36.4 and then 36.7-36.9 post ov. happy shagging!

basilbrush · 19/05/2007 09:44

Hello Laydees -

Decided to start charting this morning to practice! I'm 36.4 which is right near the bottom of the graph - does that mean I probably have not ovulated yet?? ( and bascially keep at it hammer and tongs...)
I know everyone is different and it'll a while to figure out my patterns but I remember now that when I took my temp for 6 days in luteal phase last cycle (just out of interest) it was 37. So if this cycle is the same, it would suggest I'm not in luteal phase yet??

{waves} hello! to all i haven't the pleasure of meeting yet

Morning girls....my dramatic temp drop looks like it is game over for me this month...will just wait for af to arrive! This temp lark is annoying when you know the inevitable results! Anyway onwards and upwards doing the moonwalk tonight so need to get plenty of rest as still am full of cold! ugh! but Dh has it worse apparently ?! yes but he's not walking 26 miles though the night!

Lottie - so sorry to hear your news...like seaside says something will happen to change your life around some things are just not meant to be...we wont forget you though !

Ready - hope you are alright haven't seen much of you last few days...so thinking of you and hope all alright...have been feeling ok - felt a tad crazy in the week a couple of times but actually relatively calmer this month...less tearful in fact no tears?!

Rah...sorry to see af maybe on her way...I am definitely trying accupuncture anything actually to give me a start on the pg road again!

MrsMc/Seaside - hope you are doinhg well..

Everyone else must go as need food, sleep and rest today before I head across London...mad urrr yes, did moonwalk last year and its bloody hard - but worth it

seaside72 · 19/05/2007 05:17

Thank you for your warm wishes it means a great deal. Have been thinking about you lots.

rah - so sorry sweetheart {{{{{HUGS}}}}

Basil (and anyone else who hasn't) can really recommend the TCOYF book - I bought it after someone on the TTC after mc thread last year said she'd bought and promptly conceived that month after months of no luck following her mc. So I did the same and conceived 2 months in a row after reading it after not having much luck previously. I also plan, like you MrsMc to use it conversely to prevent pg once we have had this little one, as I'm also not allowed to take the pill again (AND I AM NOT HAVING A COIL FITTED!!!! - sorry, I kept having them forced on me after DD was born, but I have a bit of an irrational phobia of the idea of them!!)

take care all

xxx

feedmenow · 18/05/2007 18:35

Take 2!!
Feedmenow

Ready · 18/05/2007 18:13

Oh and feedmenow - I think that TCOYF charts are prettier to look at - but since I only wanted an online chart to share with you gals, I didn't see the point in paying for the privilege, when FF basic is free forever. See how you get on with FF, if you like it you can keep the VIP features for money (not sure how much) and if you want something with more factors to add in, then TCOYF might be worth a look. Depends how scientific you are intending to get

Ready · 18/05/2007 18:09

Seaside - Tiredness is definitely a symptom, and the cramping too Glad you are ok. I understand that "too good to be true" mentality - but do try to enjoy the excitement - you and DH have a little secret now

Feedmenow - Chick!! Your link takes us to your log-in page... if I remember right, if you go into the sharing option on FF (the options on the left hand side) and go to homepage set-up there is your unique web adress - copy that and link it. Hope that makes sense, then we'll all have a gander at it

feedmenow · 18/05/2007 17:59

Hi all! Ready, I HAVE been remembering to take my temp 3 days in a row now!!! Clever l'il me! Am using fertility friend....is there an opinion as to which is better, or are all pretty much the same?
Anyway, I have a question for anyone that cares to read on. I started temping earlier in my cycle then forgot for ages, and have now started again. I am now going to try and post a link to my chart cos I want someone to check out the last 3 days for me and tell me if this is OK (not going to say "normal" cos everyone is different) or if I should get a new thermometer!
Feedmenow

seaside72 · 18/05/2007 17:14

Rah - oh hon I am so sorry and gutted for you but at least an early AF means a quicker turnaround - I used to hate my short cycles but recently I have been quite happy with them as they meant shorter waiting times before and after OV

basil - MrsMc is right - get the TCOYF book - it is really helpful

Ready - feeling OK thanks hon - no symtoms really? a few cramps still at least once a day. And find myself falling asleep everyday for about 2 hours in the afternoon and having mad vivid dreams but then that could also be cos we're still on holiday and have been having lots of walks and drives in the fresh air?! Still in utter denial - trying to temper my excitement as it still feels too good to be true.

MrsMc - I'm still temping and am planning to stop once I have seen the GP next week - even though he will do nothing!! OMG 12 weeks seems so far away - I feel like I will not be excited until we get there safe and sound??

Right Rah - you asked for it - I posted this in the Hut so apologies for the repeat but I am too lazy to re-type!
Here you go - seasides 07 plan for conception :

Alternative therapies:
Feb - went to Natural Health/Chinese Medicine Doc- big blood tests - confirmed low ovarian reserve - started taking 2 herbal supplement mixes (mixed by doc)
Feb - Began going to Cranio Sacaral Osteopath again (used to go for IBS few years ago)
Feb - Started acupuncture - every week for three weeks and then every other week.
March - bought fertility spell on ebay (along with londonlottie)- but hey - some of the money went to charity ebay spell Although it may be a load of hoccum - I think the affirmation you have to say (and try not to giggle while saying it) about welcoming a baby into your life blah blah blah may actually be a good excercise even though I had a hard time not being sarcastic about it
April - began taking flower essence mixture morning and evening after reading this on MN -I mixed up my own solution and started straight in with both ingredients and also added in White Chestnut essence too when I found this website think I might have overdone the brandy a bit but I have to say I felt a lot calmer last month?

Conventional medicine:
Feb had first CD21 test to confirm ov - normal
Mar - DH sperm analysis - normal
April - CD21 again - normal
May - first appointment with consultant and booked in for CD3 test and lap/dye and or HSG for June???
and last but not least DH and I had a huge falling out because he got a job abroad at the end of April so was away from CD3-11 - went mental but then got over it and settled down for another 6ww. Anyway when he came back on CD11 we managed 4 shags - one a day CD11-14 and actually it was pretty spontaneous (as much as it has been for a while) Anyway we gave up again on CD15 and then had a limp one of CD 17 and then no more so TBH I was not that hopeful- never am?
So the moral of the sorry story is send your DH away for a few day pre ov and absence make the heart (read - penis!!) grow stronger.
Oh and we used preseed on 2 shags for the fist time also I am sure this must have helped?

All the above has cost a small fortune (although not as much as it would have done had we still been in London - then it would have been double I think) but thats me - desperate and wiling to go bankrupt trying - and I was mentally getting ready for the IVF £ hit anyway! credit cards are a glorious thing

Sorry for the essay everyone!
xx

basilbrush · 18/05/2007 16:41

MrsMc have just sent you a CAT whatchamaflip
Thank you and to you Ready and Seaside for all your fab advice.
Am off to stare at the clock till 5pm - then I can have a Fri glass of vino without feeling like an alchey [hmmm]

MrsMcJnr · 18/05/2007 16:24

Hello all how are you? My temps have been 36.8 the last couple of days

Have a good trip Nappy

Mum03 ? hope you are having a lovely weekend with your parents it?ll help you get through the 2WW too! fingers crossed.

Minxi ? you?re a hot lady! Fingers crossed.

Jess ? how are you feeling? hopeful?

Hey Ready I?m concerned about Iwillbe too how are you hon?

Ah Basil, we meet again welcome to the wonderful world of temping! Seaside?s advice is spot on. I?d add to get a copy of Toni Weschler?s book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it will tell you everything you need to know about temping and much more about TTC, I found it fascinating. I also plan to use the method when I am trying not to be pg in future as I am not allowed to take the pill again. You can get a free trial of the ovusoft charting software, I think it?s 30 days, I love it so then bought it, it was about £20 or £30 quid but worth it in my opinion. Temping is good for many reasons but the main ones are (1) you get an idea after a chart or two if and when you are likely to OV (2) you can pinpoint your fertile days (3) you can make yourself see sense when you get all worked up about BFNs and am I/aren?t I (4) you can monitor things like headaches, CM etc and see patterns (5) you can obsess about TTC in a scientific way!

RahRah so sorry hon.
