First temp this morning was only 36.18, so took it again afterwards and it was 36.38 . I decided to go with the 2nd temp and now fertility friend has decided I OV'd on Monday. I think this is probably about right. I had a positive OPK on Saturday night (9pm). Then OV pains on Sunday evening. Then some ewcm on Monday morning, which then turned creamy in the afternoon.

My relationship with my thermometer has reached a new low. This month my temps have been so erratic and if I have a difference of 0.2 in two readings taken back to back then how can I see a shift of only 0.2. I feel like I'm just picking and choosing the reading I want.

Anyway, I've got an appt at my GP for a progesterone blood test on Monday. This will be 8dpo (I hope that's the right day). So, at least I will find out whether or not I have OV'd. And maybe it will tell me why I have so many days of spotting each month.

Quick question about cm (if not tmi!). I have at least 5 days of ewcm before OV (not all day, but intermittently throughout those days). Then when I OV (if I OV) this quickly swiches to a very creamy (sometimes flaky) cm. It does not really dry up until a couple of days before af (when I was pregnant it increased!). However I've often read that CM quickly dries up after OV. So, do I have too much ewcm (can you have too much ewcm?) and is this creamy cm normal?

Anyway, enough of me.

Nappyvalley The last couple of temps I had before OV were high. I'm assuming that they were just blips. Maybe your high temp is a blip too.

Hello rattling, minxi and duchesse. Hope all is well with you.

Jess- definately go with second temp.

My temp shot up this morning but no EWCM so either temps are erratic or have missed ovulation. I did OPK test today which was -ve but difference in the lines was not massive. Soooo will hope for a +ve OPK tomorrow and a lower temp. I don't think I have OV'd.

In the interests of recruitment I think I will put a shout out to try and get some more temping gals who want to join the support.

My temps are still problematic. I took my temp this morning and the thermometer beeped after only 15 secs and said 36.31 (no temp rise). So I took it again immediately afterwards and it said 36.47 (hurray a temp rise!). So now I don't know which one to believe. I guess I'll just have to see tomorrows temp.

Sorry you're not feeling so well mum03. My temps did not fall properly last month, which is why I'm so stressed about looking for a rise now.

Good news about the scan MrsMcJnr.

Welcome back rattling.

Hi mum03 and sorry you are still under the weather. Sounds like a nasty virus if your temps are still high. huge hugs. What are your other symptoms?

mum03 · 05/06/2007 21:50

Hi all, just thought I would pop my head in here to say I have not forgotten about you all. I am temping irratically (very), but my temps did not come down yet, due to being ill I assume. So I am just forgetting about this month as a serious attempt at ttc, I am trying but failing to forget about it all, but my head is wrecked thinking about it all the time. ~ still just wanted to let you know that you are not forgotten by me!

MrsMcJnr · 05/06/2007 13:59

Ladies hello! Having a crazy, busy day so can?t catch up now but I hope you are all well and I?ll do what I can to catch up later.

Just wanted to let you know that we saw a little gumy bear this morning on the scan with a madly flickering heartbeat which is apparently very strong CRL was 14mm and we are apparently now measuring 7+6 (would be 8 weeks today based on LMP) we were so happy we felt like we can breathe after holding out breaths for so long! We got a little pic too, can?t see a thing really and DH has banned me from showing anyone (he?s embarrassed ) but I know what?s there! Bloods are fine too. More from me later!

Welcome back Rattling. It has been a very exciting month with so many BFPs. But plenty of us still reaching under the pillow every morning. My temp has been all over the place this weekend due to several bad nights sleep. I am not sure if it is the B6, but I am peeing for England and not sleeping well. Might put that questions out there to see if anyone in the conception group has the same experience.

jess sounds like the OPK tests sound perfect to me. I always get a faint pos and then a 50/50 pos. My temp would then go up about 48-72 hrs after the +ve. At the moment my body is taking 4 days b4 I see my temp start rising. It take about 2 days to reach it's higher level. Hope that helps. Basically get busy hun.

minxi sounds like your cycle is playing ball which is fantastic news. I am not too up to speed on all the techie jargon. But are you saying that the are going to do some exploritory camera type action 1 month?

waves to all the graduates recent and older ones.

hugs to all our lovely lurkers.

hope everyone else ok....x

Well I am back - not temping was rubbish for me, last cycle was a pitiful 24 days. I'm loving the still trying:BFP ratio here, even if it is aided by the temporary loss of a few lovely people. Hope the time away from the thermometer works better for them.

Had a great holiday - don't imagine the cycling shorts and the heat greatly aided DH's sperm quality, but it was great fun. He's back into the boxers now.

Quick question about the clearblue OPKs. Used them Thursday and Friday morning, got hardly any surge line at all. On Saturday morning, very clear surge line, but still not as strong as reference line. Tried on Sat evening, surge line and reference line were the same. According to the instructions this is a positive result so I didn't test again. So, the question is, when should I see a temp rise? I am quite stressed about my temps at the moment as they never really fell from post-OV temps last month. I'm worried I won't be able to see a rise.

Hello my lovely temp buds - thinking about you all - have been lurking

Mum03 - completely understand the need to take a break- sometimes it all justs gets to wound up and intense. Enjoy your time off and no temping (). Sorry you have been under the weather too - hope you get to have some quality family time and some Mum03 revitalisation (can I interest you in the myriad of alternative therapies I have dabbled in!! .) LOL about your 100 hpts!

basil not sure if I have said it already but huge congrats - May has been a bumper month hasn't it? Amazing Maybe see you on the TTC grad thread soon.

jess God news about your blood tests - I know getting my results gave me a bit of confidence that something was sorking IYKWIM? But you are right - a bit if they did not know your CD - what were they testing for?? Prog, FSH, LH?

NappyValley Like your style on the vit cocktail!! Sounds like something I would do too!!

CityAngel - Hope you are OK hon and that work/home stress has eased {{{big hugs}}}}

duchesse storming through those CD's CD19 already Have you been for some acupuncture yet [wagging finger emoticon] ! Go one someone sticking needles in you - it's so enticing - not. But if it might help ...... you don't know until you try!

Feedmenow - Are you still her hon? Hope you are and that you are OK {{{big hugs}}} (How's the bearded dargon mummy??)

Waves to all you lurkers - Rah, Minxi et al - I think our Ready is going cold turkey - but if you are here too {{{Hugs}}} to all.

NappyValley · 01/06/2007 19:25

mrsMc sympathies about temping stress. No point saying don't worry. I am sure it is very hard. Just try and keep busy so your mind is otherwise occupied. Remember the most tiring and exhausting time of pregnancy is actually the first trimester which is pants as you don't want people to know. Have a pamper weekend.

beansprout · 01/06/2007 18:27

Hope it goes ok!! Have a good weekend

MrsMcJnr · 01/06/2007 18:27

Have a lovely weekend ladies - I'll be back on Tues after my scan

beansprout · 01/06/2007 13:45

MrsMcJnr - how are you feeling?

Nappy - lol at your rattling! I hope they do the trick

Basil - way to go basilbean! S/he is just making himself comfortable. I have found that the cramps are a low level pain which doesn't really get much worse, so as long as it stays at that level, I try not to worry too much. Glad your line is stronger, that must be v reassuring!

Hello Ladies hope everyone is well. I?m having a scary day I was exhausted last night after meetings all day and went to bed truly knackered. DH is away on a Stag and normally I can?t sleep but I slept like a log last night. Woke up when my alarm went off feeling really rough and exhausted and with a stuffy nose. Temped and got an alarming 36.0. A drop by 8c from yesterday. Well, I freaked. Also tried Lottie?s method of temping (just in case sleeping with my mouth open due to a stuffy nose made my temp low clutching at straws) temp was a more respectable 36.7 but still v scared. Dropping temps can be a sign of MC as they often mean that the progesterone levels are dropping. I tried to reason with myself that it could be for many reasons but decided to stay at home and go back to sleep. Temped again when I got up at 9. same low temp I otherwise just feel sick and tired but that could well be my nerves now! There is no point trying to get medical reassurance as they think it is nonsense at my GP and the EPU. Just wanted to tell someone ? lots of work to do but just cannot concentrate Also tried Lottie?s method of temping (just in case sleeping with my mouth open due to a stuffy nose made my temp low clutching at straws) temp was a more respectable 36.7 but still v scared.

Nappy ? thank you for the advice, it is very sound and I totally agree. I certainly don?t want to be induced. Hope the B6 helps and glad you feel more relaxed. I took EPO too (pre OV) and pre natal vits
