New thread...

Rah and Ready, Hope your respected appointment bear fruit very soon. Keep us posted on your progress

Hi fettleandminifettle, I am assuming you are a graduate of this thread...Nic eto met you and thank you for leaving some baby dust here for everyone, I'm saving mine until next month ;)

Gracie14, I am in the same boat as you...but your temps are better It is hard not to feel down as AF approaches but it does mark the beginning of a new cycle and we can drink and eat unsuitable food (if we wish) whilst we are reassured we are not pregnant. I'm still quietly confidant about your chart

minxi, Have a nice break, keep on lurking and when you are ready come back.

fettleandminifettle · 17/07/2007 21:34

Hi All

Just popping in - hopefully rubbing my tummy on the screen for you all.

Rah and Ready, so glad you've got referrals and treatment all lined-up - keeping everything crossed for you.

Hello everyone else - hope you don't mind me popping in.

big hugs.
xxx

Evening,

Ready - Pleased that everything is getting moving for you . Your right about the weather. Took the dog for a walk and it was sunny just as I'd walked about a mile and the rain suddenly came - dog thought it was fun though just me that looked like a drowned rat

Thinking - Lets hope this cycle does work out for you, I've got a headache a sign AF is on its way - so looks like cycle 11 is looming for me

Hi to evertybody else

Ready · 17/07/2007 17:43

Evening all. Referral appointment today. Went really well, consultant was lovely. Top notch. Has requested that I have an HSG. He didn't mention a Laparascopy, so I am wondering if that means I won't need one. Fingers crossed. The idea of a general anaesthetic scares the bejesus out of me. He said that assuming that my tubes are open then it's only a matter of time. Hey ho. At least the ball is rolling and I am on the books

How is everyone this evening? Sick to the back teeth of all the rain yet? I know I am. We had HAIL today - I mean for crying out loud, what is up with the weather!!

Rah - I have heard of Day3 tests, which are usually to check the level of the FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) - I tell you who you need, Atilla... she'll know

Nappy - I don't believe in turns... if I did, then I would be mightily peeved, as I think I have missed my slot on more than one occasion - It'll happen, if, and when it's meant to. How are you after your long wait in the blood queue. When I went to get mine the other day, you have to take little tickets like at the deli counter

Minxi - Big hugs. Totally understand the need for a break from temping. I hope that all is well. And if I find myself down your way I will take you up on your offer of a coffee and a chat... remember that? You can't back out now

Everyone else... how's tricks?

NappyValley · 17/07/2007 17:10

I had one on monday too! Mine was to check 2 things, but mainly oestrogen levels and something else but I could not read docs handwriting on the lab sheet, so lets hope the technitians can. I spent 1 hr queuing for blood test at hospital as surgery can only fit you in for a blood test with about 2 weeks notice!! Yeah if I knew when AF was going to show that precisely I wouldn't need the test because I would be PREGNANT. AAAARRGG

OK rant over.

RahRah1 · 17/07/2007 16:44

Hi all... hope everyone is OK. Will be back laters to catch up.

I had a CD2 blood test, what is that for anyone know? Cheers X

Thinking · 17/07/2007 16:17

Gracie, I have low temps and cramps and will properly (hopefully ?) start AF in the next week or so. I want a normal length cycle if possible this month.

Thinking - It is looking better than yesterday but to be honest I don't know what to think. According to my last couple of cycles I should be due AF on Friday so I will have to wait and see.

How is it going with you?

Thinking · 17/07/2007 13:19

I had a massive temp drop today too...lower than my coverline and I have started AF pre-cramps. It is looking much better for a reasonably normal cycle length (aiming for no more than 30 days)so I am happy from that POV.

Gracie14 · 16/07/2007 21:43

Thinking - the problem is I don't think I have even ovulated had lots of EWCM today so I think this month is off now, temp drop today so have to wait and see what tomorrow brings. So I'm afraid it looks like your be getting them sticks in for the both of us

Possible ovulation yesterday... fingers now crossed that this month is the month. Oh, who am I kidding.

Gracie14 · 16/07/2007 15:03

Rainbowdays - I haven't kept the thermometer in my mouth before reading is this what I should do? Its a digital one though so I just push the button and once the screen says ready I put it in my mouth and wait for the bleep. And I only take the reading that first appears, I have tried to do two readings but there hasn't been much difference between the two.

Even if you only bd once in days before ov your in with a chance, well thats how I try to look at it anyway especially when I'm going through the months where dp doesn't seem interested (and there are quite a few of those!)

I really thought taking my temperature would help, and I know I should be looking at the chart as a whole once the cycle is complete but it seems to make me worry more that I'm not ovulating. Anyway I had better start thinking positively soon otherwise it will never happen for me

Rah and Minxi - sorry to hear that you are back at the start of cycles again. Rah -hope that you eat loads of chocolate and have lovely wine to go with the time at home today, you need some tlc.

Well I am not absolutely certain whether I have ov'd or not, temping just does not seem to be giving me much help at the moment. But I will have to wait to see if the temp goes up in the next day or so. Dh is not in the mood to do anything anyway, and my pitiful attempts at helping him get in the mood have not really worked, so it really does not seem to matter if I have ov'd or not!

Gracie - I looked at your chart, the temps are a bit rocky so difficult to interprete. Do you keep the thermometer in your mouth (assuming that is where you are testing?!?!?) for a couple of minutes before starting to take the temperature? And do you take more than one reading? I found both of these things helpful in smoothing out my charts.

Hi to all others here.

RahRah1 · 16/07/2007 12:06

Looks like we are having one of those months girls where no BFP's.... but like we have seen before they come in a big flurry all together!

Sorry girls...af started on Friday late full flow - but it was 28 days and lp 14 so that is good....diet starts today going to get fit, healthy, and enjoy the next couple of months without temping as away alot over the next 7 weeks...holidays etc....
don't think there will be that much of a chance of falling this month as away without dh during ov week and then August away for 3 weeks with dh and will be ov during the right time so maybe my chance will be then...but going to take a break from posting temp - will stay online and check in every now and again....hopefully I wont be temping in September anyway well have to have PMA still!!
Good luck all...

Gracie14 · 16/07/2007 10:40

Thinking - My chart is on the plotting a pregnancy thread just above yours if you want to have a look and tell me what you think. It does say I ovulated on CD14 but I'm not even sure that happened to be honest. I'm feeling quite low today so I think that is a certain sign of impending AF

Rah - Sorry about AF Think I will be joining you back at the top soon - when will she get the hint and stay away!

RahRah, Sorry AF showed up and that you are feeling so down.

Gracie, One lower temp does not matter, how do your temps look overall ?

Myself I am convinced that this is a BFN month. I don't think I ovulated even though FF gave me lines, my DH was away and I never got a positive OPK.

....and if Minxi doesn't post today,I think I will burst !!!
