Much stress in the ZamFamily household this week - we're going on our twice-yearly trip to the UK tomorrow. Up at 4.30, 10hr flight, 13mo DS, DH working all hours till last minute..... can't wait!? And BA have mucked up my booking so DH & DS are seated together in the nice bulkhead seats - but I'm subjected to the randomness that is check-in. I never used to get this flappy when it was just me & DH.
This is also my most fertile week according to the software - great timing!
Maybe I'll flap so much that I can get there without the need for a plane!? Gotta go now, have to pack. Will try and check in every so often over the next weeks. xx

Well back at the top again . But FF puts my average LP (mainly due to one crazy 15 dayer, which I think was wonky temping) at 10 days now. All the drugs I've got DH should be kicking in about now if they are going to make any difference to his lazy sperm, and I've heard my job is going to continue beyond December which means this month isn't the last date I could get pregnant and still get decent maternity benefits. And I get to drink a few glasses of fizz at my friend's birthday party tonight.

Trying very hard here to see the bright side.

Thinking · 25/07/2007 09:41

Rainbowdays,

Does look like it, I wonder how long a cycle to expect as I didn't O ?

Had to replace thermometer battery mid month too, I wonder if that could have effected the temps too ?

Rainbowdays · 25/07/2007 09:35

TLSM - it is not necessarily unusual to get temps going lower during/after af. They will probrably plateau out soon. Then you will be looking for the temp hike post-ov. Unless you think your thermometer is faulty?

Thinking - your chart does look fairly flat (apart from the couple of spikes in the middle), so perhaps you have had an ann-ov cycle after all?

Gracie - If you take out friday the 13th then you will get your ov as cd 23 I am sure! It definitely looks that way to me.

to everyone else too.

WTF...OK FF has now agreed with me that I haven't O'd this month and has removed my lines.
I got another evaporation line on a cheap internet test (does anyone else have this reoccuering problem), before I knew my lines had gone.
Warning TMI Ahead.....Lastly after DTD with DH last night I had a kinda bleed on toilet paper when I wiped...pink but definate was blood.
I put in my mooncup happy that (next to BFP) a normal length cycle is a gift in itself but this morning when I came to empty it there was nothing, not one drop of blood...how weird is that ?

So know I am on CD33 and still have this bug and feel burpy and pucky...joy.

NappyValley · 24/07/2007 19:52

OH and I have decided to stay off alcohol during my cycle except for a few days at AF if I have to.

Rah - totally agree about the rain. It is quite incredible.

NappyValley · 24/07/2007 19:47

Gracie - big hugs.Trust your instincts and if you think that is when you ovulated, it probably is. Glad you are feeling more settled. This ttc can be so unhinging sometimes.

Thinking - my will power of not testing might hopefully be put to the test soon. but it comes from hating that no knowing feeling and I would rather wait a few more days and get a definate + or -

RahRah1 · 24/07/2007 19:45

Howdy all...

Ratting, Gracie and Thinking... still got my fingers crossed for you all.

Gracie - I suppose if your ovulation was wrong, would explain BFN, so still hope there.

Nappy - hows the foot? Hope its not too sore

Rainbow - Hope the PMT is not raging..but if it is go and have a paddle in the big fat puddle called Gloustershire!

How bad is all this rain? How are we meant to get pregnant without the sunshine??? This is ridiculous!

Nonoremag - good look at your appointment.. xx

Ready - where are you???

Hello to everyone else... XX

Thinking · 24/07/2007 15:42

NappyValley,
The 'test and wait approach' is the most sensible, practical and cheap way of TTC, but how do you get the patience to not test ?

Gracie,
Day 23 looks a possible day for ovulation, so all the best being 8DPO How long are your cycles normally ?

Rattling,
Yeah on the 10 day LP(at least). Hopeing there is a BFP in this month for you. Thanks for the crossed fingers for me, I am really hopeing that I have a reasonable cycle length, as a BFP is all but impossible, I'll settle for AF arriving in the next week

Oh my Rah, I am wincing just reading your post. Hope you are feeling better and that you remember to don a hard hat before attempting to DTD again

Gracie14 · 24/07/2007 13:37

Hi,

Just wanted to say that I have taken off the dotted line on my chart as I really don't think I had ovulated until day 23 which would mean I am 8 days past ovulation today.

That line was making me crazy - especially after reading Taking charge of your fertility and knowing that 17/18 post ovulation temps means you are more than likely pregnant.

Which means my AF is proberbly late due to late ovulation so will expect it anytime soon. Excuse the negative message before this. I hope everybody else is having a better day

Gracie14 · 24/07/2007 13:02

Nappy - I'm afraid my comments about waiting have been very short lived I tested today and a BFN - well I really have had enough of this ttc stuff.

It would have been a positive by now if I was pregnant and yet again being left in limbo not knowing one way or the other if I have even ovulated now!

Surely if my temps are rising ovulation must have happened, but possibly not when software says - any comments would be very appreciated.

Sorry about the rant

Rah - you make me laugh and also I now know that contry to my DHs belief, I am not the most accident prone person around i hope you heal well. My only accident this weekend was to cut my foot by standing on a piece of glass!

Nonoremag - have removed you as requested, and good luck with gynee. Do pop back and let us know how it goes or just to have a rant (rah and i need the company!)

TLMS - temps do fluctuate from day to day, panic not. Make sure you temp befire you do anything else in the morning, especially get out of bed. the dosier the better IMO.

Ready - how's it going?

Gracie - well done on your patience. I totally believe in the test and wait approach. If you are pregnant you will get a +ve on thursday I am sure. Fingers crossed.

OK got to split

nomoremagnolia · 24/07/2007 10:08

Hi all,
Sorry, forgot to say you should take me off list - AF arrived on CD18 of cycle 19, so it's now CD 7 of cycle 20, but seeing as I didn't manage to temp very sucessfully and have now been for gynae appt I can't see much point in carrying on temping.
Thanks for the help you gave when I was though!

Also just above my coverline, but heading down - suggests AF starting tomorrow, though very few physical signs suggesting that. I'm even being quite a pleasant person to live with. And if I can make it through today I have a 10 day LP like normal people .

Thanks Rainbowdays for asking about Gracie, Rattling and me

This month is a no go for me, I'm still unsure if I ovulated and FF moved my lines back 2 days, which meant our timing was even worse than I first thought.

I have had evaporation lines on internet cheapies yesterday and today,i.e. very very faint pink lines which come up straight away but dry to a very very faint grey and confirmed as BFN this morning with an Asda test, which was completely blank.

I have picked up a bug and am feeling very sickly and unwell (not morning sickness I don't get that), so I doubt I'll bother testing again this cycle...it looks like it is going to be a repeat of my last cycle which ended up 50 days long !!!

Still cheering on Rattling and Gracie

Morning -

Temp still above the coverline and still no AF!! Not testing yet though as I could have ovulated later and really don't want to get my hopes up for another BFN.

Soldiers - I think that when you have got your AF your temps can vary but should settle down as your cycle goes on. Hope that helps
