@biscay just in case I didn’t at the time. CONGRATULATIONS! from another bitter and jaded yammer.

I’m glad we have these threads away from certain other posters.

I’ve reported that whole thread, it’s disgusting.

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 28/04/2018 16:01

Haha - she said she keeps up with various threads in conception including yammers and that's how she knew what I hadn't been congratulated properly.

She must have a fantastic memory. That or she did a quick search on my username to try and find something to argue with and that was the best she could come up with.

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 15:57

I’m intrigued now haha what are these people who don’t know me even saying about me? And Biscay I’m pretty sure I already said it but in case I didn’t, huge congratulations :) from your fellow bitter yammer lol

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 28/04/2018 15:55

Said poster doesn’t like that we offer congratulations to fellow yammers when they get preggo?

She said that she was surprised I was defending kate because when I finally got my bfp the yammers who are 'bitter women' didn't congratulate me enough. Apparently anyone who has struggled to TTC must be bitter. What a loon.

WonkyDonk87 · 28/04/2018 15:46

Just had a quick look - Bubble don't go back on there. I stopped reading as it got very personal. If I'm completely honest I can see elements of both perspectives, but nastiness is just unnecessary.

@LimpLettice We're all rooting for you!!! And I'll be raising a glass on your wedding day 🥂

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 15:45

Lol what? Said poster doesn’t like that we offer congratulations to fellow yammers when they get preggo? Or that we aren’t congratulatory enough? Like I said, bitches be crazy

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 28/04/2018 15:45

Haha it was indeed but don't worry guys. What I needed from this thread was support when going through a difficult time TTC and that is exactly what I got and I shall always be grateful to you all Flowers

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 15:45

It’s a horrible thread isn’t it. I fall pregnant at the drop of a hat. I’ve spent a lot of time pregnant in the past year but I’m still nowhere close to taking a baby home. I can still empathise with people who have an unwanted pregnancy or can’t get pregnant. Because I’m a human being and I know that we all have different struggles.

I certainly think saying you can’t choose between having a baby in January or February is foolish and insensitive.

LimpLettice · 28/04/2018 15:43

Biscay! It was you who was so poorly congratulated. Apparently. Thank you 😊

LimpLettice · 28/04/2018 15:42

Bitching about the warmth of our congratulations. Talk about Missing The Fucking Point Grin

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 28/04/2018 15:42

Yes! Nasty piece of work she is. Also naming no names. I may not be active on this thread anymore but I still keep up to date with you all.

No one slags of the yammers and gets away with it!

Anyway, take no notice of spiteful people and I hope you're all well. And congrats @LimpLettice!

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 15:40

Woah what, they were slagging off this thread? Why?

Yikes 10 weeks, that’s crazy. I have everything crossed for you but I’m quietly confident that everything is going to turn out fine :)

LimpLettice · 28/04/2018 15:35

10 + 1 now. It's a bit of a mindfuck, I've been pregnant pretty much since Xmas, but still trying not to tell people. Pfft.

Difficult debate. I know full well I'm not nice resenting people who've had it easy, but I own that, and ain't nasty. Kate comes across the same way to me, if anything more measured, and it's good advice not to read into every symptom or worry about timing when it might turn out to be harder than that. My back went up when said poster started slagging off this thread with clearly no understanding.

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 15:30

I agree, I’ve never seen her be nasty or offensive to anyone but I suppose bitches be crazy. I have to say, I’m honoured that there’s someone out there who is so bothered about me that they’re spending their time slagging me off when I’ve not even been back on the thread 😂

That all sounds really positive though, I wouldn’t worry too much about the decreasing breast pain. So how far along are they saying you are now? Glad you’re feeling shit (in the nicest way possible!) Ooh next week? That’s exciting!

LimpLettice · 28/04/2018 15:24

I'm feeling terrible for Kate, I think she comes across really well. Silly bitch (naming no names ha) seems to have a bit of a vendetta.

I think so! I still feel totally shit, which is a good sign Smile, and last weeks scan was great. Breast pain dropping which is always worrying but it's the wedding next week and I'm adamant I'm going to concentrate on that. They've put my dating scan back which is annoying, another 3 weeks of panicking Confused but I'm trying!

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 15:09

I figured as much Limp which is why I’m staying away lol don’t get why someone would be so argumentative about how infertile people shouldn’t be allowed to say anything when a super fertile person is no less than bragging about how great they are at conceiving. A deranged member on MN though? I don’t believe that for one second 😉 kate seems a bit upset over on the infertility board about the whole thing which is another reason I’ve avoided it. How’s things with you anyway? Little bean still being good?

LimpLettice · 28/04/2018 15:04

Bubblegum love I'd stay away. One of the posters in particular is attacking you and Kate a lot, and seems a bit deranged, she just can't let it go. I'm afraid I couldn't help responding but I'd seriously ignore she is a bit cracked. I cannot understand why they are hounding Kate, I think she's always very measured and informative. Descending into bullying now.

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 15:00

Chooklass that’s exactly what I’m doing today haha. How fun is it being ill? Not! I’m guessing they’re attacking Physicskate? A lot of people on this board seem to have some weird problem with her

Chooklass · 28/04/2018 14:49

I'm fighting the urge to keep reading it! Being ill means I've too much time for Mumsnet and Netflix today!!

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 14:47

I bet chooklass If I read it, I’ll be tempted to reply again. Last time I looked, I saw someone had posted “if you’re struggling with infertility, there’s always adoption” or something like that which pissed me off enough to not go back on there lol

Chooklass · 28/04/2018 14:43

@Bubblegum89 you're wise to avoid it! It's got quite vicious and don't think it's helping anyone. X

Bubblegum89 · 28/04/2018 14:40

Hope you’re okay paranormal it does still
Sound positive, fingers crossed for you

chooklass sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish as well! I did comment on that thread when it first started but not read it since because I can imagine what it’s like in there. All the fertile myrtle’s defending themselves using stupid anecdotes and long term ttc’ers trying to make them see some sense. That about right?

Chooklass · 28/04/2018 14:24

Thinking of you @Paranormalbouquet - must be so stressful Thanks

Yikes - has anyone seen the 'pregnant at drop of hat' thread on conception board at the mo?! Glad the yammers thread is a safe place with lovely people xxx

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 13:32

Thanks everyone, I’m regular but not a machine I suppose and could have ovulated a day or two late and measure a little small. The sonographer did say that there’s at least a 5 day margin of error.

I will just have to wait and see. Haematoma increases risk of loss but I’m already at a high risk of loss so that doesn’t shock me. Seems to have implanted higher than my area of adhesions so that’s a hopeful sign.

I hated the EPU I went to with my MMC. I’m a HCP so I think the consultant I mostly dealt with wanted me to have my rational HCP hat on when you really can’t in that situation. So much so that I’m wondering if I should ask my GP to refer me on elsewhere for this time around. I don’t want to see precious but the thought of going back there really upsets me.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 28/04/2018 12:59

@WonkyDonk87. I agree x
