Fp arrived here too, no shocker though as no sex since March in June household thanks to DH being away and then illnesses for us all!

Pinkemi · 03/05/2018 15:42

oh no... sorry to hear of the FP's that are arriving! I "think" mine is due next weekend. (I say think because I havent been keeping an eye on where I am in my cycle this month.)

I'm pretty sure its coming though to be fair.. Ive felt very moody and slightly snappy today.. which I normally get about a week or so before im due. If i burst into tears for no apparent reason over the weekend, then i know for sure it will be coming. Wink

I really must focus on weight loss.. no way Im gonna get preggers if i dont drop my BMI to below 30. urgh.

Bubblegum89 · 03/05/2018 14:07

Sorry fp has shown up looking :( my periods used to be like that when I was a teenager. Not fun. Lots of chocolate! And wine maybe, it is nearly Friday after all.

I think I missed my ovulation this month. If I even ovulated. I didn’t see a positive again on my opks, second month in a row after having 17 previous months where I’ve always got a positive that lasted 2 days. Lines are getting lighter now and my abundance of stretchy watery cm is now lotion-y again. Only managed to have sex yesterday so definitely too late. Oh well. I guess that’s me done with ttc until the autumn then. Feels a bit weird...

MichaelKnightsCar · 03/05/2018 13:10

I only had a 3 day period this month and it was pretty light.
I'm alternating between convincing myself I'm pregnant and fretting that it's the first signs of menopause Hmm

I hate my brain!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 03/05/2018 11:07

Ugh. FP is a heavy one this time. I hate it when you've been sat down, you stand up and you can literally feel it coming out, especially if you are moving around quite a bit. I get an achey soreness down there too :-( I was walking really gingerly back from taking DD to school Grin Blush

@Paranormalbouquet. I think I would feel the same. If I get pregnant again then I will want a reassurance scan. You do get attached in that first few weeks and when you get there a find out that you've essentially been living a lie for possibly weeks, it's a hard knock. I would rather know early on. It would be good for you to have some reassurance. I don't think we get enough emotional support during early pregnancy.

@Bubblegum89. Ha Ha! I never believed it either. In fact even after a scan at 6 weeks I still wasn't totally convinced!

@LexieJean Thanks! I'm bricking it a bit!

LG93 · 03/05/2018 11:05

8dpo here

I must not symptom spot.
I must not symptom spot.
I must not symptom spot.
I must not symptom spot.
I must not symptom spot.

I hope that would help... It hasn't

Bubblegum89 · 03/05/2018 10:32

Yeah, I know for sure that I ovulate because I’ve had my progesterone levels checked plus I’ve had follicles ready to pop at a few US but I think having the anovulatory cycle last month has made me paranoid. That’s awful about EPU, especially given your history like you said. Can you have a private scan done anywhere? I’ve seen people on ttc groups on Facebook getting them done as early as 4/5 weeks. My sister got one done at 9 weeks at a private clinic because she didn’t believe she was pregnant and wanted to see for herself (she was on the pill which is why she refused to believe it lol)

Paranormalbouquet · 03/05/2018 09:55

Not booked for a scan until 12 weeks. Very disappointed in EPU who said they don’t do reassurance scans. Made an appointment with my GP next week to get a referral as I think it’s unreasonable given my history. And to be honest if I’m going to miscarry again I’d rather know early. Don’t really feel attached or believe in this pregnancy if that makes sense.

If you have regular cycles the overwhelming likelihood is that you ovulate; anovulatory cycles are usually long and irregular.

Bubblegum89 · 03/05/2018 09:29

I don’t really get ovulation signs. I get cm before ov and until recently I wasn’t getting ewcm and I don’t get ovulation pains so opks are my go-to lol they’ve always worked really well for me. Up until now anyway. Who knows. When is your next scan? If it’s any consolation (and I’m sure it’s probably not) but most of the women I know who have scarring or have had scarring removed, have spotted during early pregnancy and been told it’s completely normal when adhesions are or have been present. I hope it’s stops soon though, I imagine it’s just worrying at this point

LexieJean · 03/05/2018 09:20

@para have you gotten an earlier scan booked?

@bubble I would echo para- a surge can be really short.

Hope you get on ok with the clomid @looking 🤞

Paranormalbouquet · 03/05/2018 09:15

Spotting comes and goes. Taken to wearing dark underwear tbh. That’s called denial I think!

Paranormalbouquet · 03/05/2018 09:12

I haven’t used opks much because I find them unreliable and I have fairly good signs of ovulation normally. And obviously you want the sperm there before ovulation. But the few times I have they’ve often gone from almost positive to completely negative in hours and I’ve always presumed I just missed the surge.

Bubblegum89 · 03/05/2018 08:57

I have no idea paranormal normally once I get a positive, it’s lasts for 2 days before it’s starts going down. I’ve never had a short surge and especially one that I’ve missed. But then again, what is normal?! I get annoyed at myself for trying to think logically about things because my body is far from logical lol. How’re things? Has your spotting subsided at all?

Paranormalbouquet · 03/05/2018 06:57

LookingAtTheStars89 fingers crossed the clomid does the trick.

Paranormalbouquet · 03/05/2018 06:56

Bubblegum89 I would assume it peaked and went down again in that time? LH surge can be super short.

Bubblegum89 · 03/05/2018 01:50

Ugh I’m sorry looking :( lots of chocolate is a must.

I’ve officially given up. All my opks today have been very almost positive with the darkest being this evenings, just took one before bed (been up late finishing an assignment) and the line is way lighter. So somewhere between 8pm and now, my LH has gone from “nearly there” to “nah can’t be arsed”. Brilliant.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 02/05/2018 21:40

WELL I was in my maths lesson earlier this evening and guess who decided to show up! Angry. 33 day cycle though, not bad for a PCOS'er Hmm

I guess I really am going to be taking my clomid pills. I had kinda hoped that the notion of taking it might have scared my ovaries into doing their thing but obviously not! I am quite looking forward to using my Ovusense monitor though.

I've got myself some yummy chocolate to have tonight and then I will get back down to business tomorrow as I will have to take my first pill!

Spottyyellowdress · 02/05/2018 19:55

I’ve started spotting today 😡 8dpo. FFS. So so frustrated with all this.

Owlpatrol · 02/05/2018 19:34

Hi all checking in here... glad you're feeling better @Bubblegum89 and yes the ewcm thing is hit and miss for me as well most months and totally unpredictable

I'm totally clumsy at the moment. Must be an ovulation sign right!?

bridget33 · 02/05/2018 13:16

Oh god I've lost the plot! I thought this was a new thread, hence the checking in! Must be all the cocktails at the weekend that have fried my brain!

bridget33 · 02/05/2018 13:14

Checking in also! I have been quiet after a super hen weekend in Spain! It was just what I needed. I've had a letter referring me to gynaecology so that's positive. I forgot to say hubby's sperm was a fraction lower than the normal range (we didn't abstain from shagging though and he had just come back from a stag in Vegas and alcohol is the worst thing for sperm according to the consultant - oops!). Doc wasn't worried so we are getting it rechecked soon. Hope everyone is ok! What do yams actually taste like? I may try some Confused x

Pinkemi · 02/05/2018 12:01

@LookingAtTheStars89 i hear you about OH being a foodie! we both love our food.. it really doesnt help!

@Bubblegum89 I think watery CM could also be an indication of BV. (I had a lot of it last month when i was diagnosed with BV.) If you are itching / burning a bit down there and your wee is cloudy.. i would get it checked out just incase.

Saying that.. you are already on antibiotics.. so... maybe not!

Spottyyellowdress · 02/05/2018 10:41

I never get obvious ewcm...maybe this is the problem! I saw it once in February (how sad that I remember this) and literally made my husband do it there and then! Didn’t work though 😂

Miserablemouse · 02/05/2018 10:29

Congrats on the new job Lexie!

If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be obsessing about what was coming out of my vag every month, I would have laughed in your face.

I've just laughed out loud at my desk. Never a truer word spoken 😂😂😂

Bubblegum89 · 02/05/2018 10:19

Gah bloody cm. If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be obsessing about what was coming out of my vag every month, I would have laughed in your face. I did consider it could be my antibiotics. My wee has been smelling vile whilst I’ve been taking this penicillin. I suppose watery is fertile and stretchy is fertile so I should just ignore it really. And Lexie mine usually only shows up after a bm but this last few days, I only have to breathe for it to gush out of me. Bodies are weird. And really gross.
