@aph413 I really, really hope it’ll all be fine and given a couple of days, that’ll be a strong pink line.

I’m throughly fed up tonight. My husband won’t accept that there might be anything wrong and just that it takes some people a while and that I’m stressing too much about it. Which is lovely but when the doctor has mentioned the word ‘infertility’ mulitiple times now and thinks it’s tine to start tests, then he needs to accept it and be on my side.

Sorry to hear that @Aph413 - I had two faint lines in July last year (they were coloured as well so don't think it was an evap line) when we weren't trying. The next day they disappeared. The gp thought it was a chemical pregnancy. It's so fucking annoying isn't it?! I haven't had a sniff of a line since and feel like I've accepted we're going to need extra help ie IVF. Anyways, am going to enjoy the bank holiday with bbq and booze! Have a good one everyone x

Had my triple swab today. Not fun. Was also told that not only are hot baths bad for fertility (knew this already) but also spending too long in them is as well! Even an hour can make a difference apparently.

Kinda sad as I love baths

@fairyann we had a follow up at the gyne to discuss all the results and get the referral onto ivf. I’m not sure if you can go straight to the clinic without getting/discussing the results first.

@si1ver glad everything sounds good with your clinic and a few extra days hol sounds ideal. Lovely and relaxing for those eggs!

Currently feeling like utter shit and wanted a moan. Thought I'd finally got my BFP yesterday, except it's gone blank today and cramps have come on in full force. Just slightly fed up of it all, now for another 2 month fucking cycle with probably nothing at the end of it

Oh Looking good luck with the Clomid! The side effects do not sound nice at all but hopefully it will get you that elusive BFP and all be worth it.

Silver glad DH is looking after you - nice relaxing few days before EC sounds just perfect. Keep us updated :)

Realised I miscounted days so when I thought I was testing stupidly early at 7dpo it was more like 5... Another BFN on a cheapy today at 10ish so counting myself out and off to enjoy wine tasting tonight!

Morning ladies! I am calmer today, I am very hot and surprisingly tires. FP seems heavier than it was yesterday and more....gloopy/stringy so whether it's had an effect on that I'm not sure. The hotness is odd though, kind of like an internal sweating sensation lol.

@Si1ver I feel bad for getting worked up when I know what you are having to do! I said to DH that if we end up doing IVF next year that I had better get used to medication. He helped me calm down though, we sat planning our Disneyland Paris trip for my 30th next year . I hope you enjoy your spa day.

@LexieJean. Yeah my Mum is the same and my Dad had a fit after the anaesthetic for his vasectomy! My mum had to have clomid to get pregnant with my brother. I kept saying to DH last night "I must be allergic to something and I just haven't found it yet" lol. My DH is allergic to peanuts - in an anaphylaxis kind of way He has to carry a pen with him. It really freaks me out!

@LookingAtTheStars89 I'm so sorry you got so stressed about Clomid. Take it before you go to bed and you'll sleep through the worst of the side effects.

@Lexie no it's been put back to Monday. My follicles aren't quite there apparently. I had my first first to the clinic and despite a brisk and very efficient dildocamming I'm really happy with the choice. The staff are all lovely, the clinic is clean and professional.

It means that I get a couple of extra days holiday in as well. My lovely husband is taking me to a posh spa today to cheer me up. The weather is gorgeous and I'm starting to cope with the stims a bit better. My stomach is all brusied though

Bit of advice, I've had my first hospital appointment recently and am booked in for a swab, bloods and a hycosy - all should be done by end of May. Partner has his second SA in June, but I've just received another appointment letter for the gyny clinic at hospital for July.

Is this for a follow up appointment to get the referral to the fertility clinic? I was hoping to just skip that and go right to the clinic once the tests were done.

Oh no @looking don’t panic! I hope you’re feeling a bit calmer this morning? Well done for taking it- I never take medication generally either so the whole idea of ivf somewhat terrifies me (my mum had loads of allergic reactions to almost every drug they gave her after an op) but I’ve told myself my body can handle it. And yours can too. And it might work! 🤞💐

I’ve just had a terrible nights sleep and night sweats. So I guess FP will arrive this weekend. Kinda bummed as really thought invoking the law of sod would help!

I'm sat here - just looking at my clomid box lol. I'm such a wimp re medication. I never take anything! I'm scared I'm going to have some like horrible reaction or get that over stimulation thing. Man I'm such a pansy! I could do with a yam slap!

Thanks @miserable and @pinkemi I’ve just been for a swim and then sat in the sauna for a while just letting the warmth wash over me. Exactly what my tired stressed out mind needed. And 430calories burned as well so bonus 😂

@Miserablemouse I have about 3 stone to lose. :( And thats just to get help with the NHS if we need it. You would think that my want to have a baby was good motivation... but it just doesn't seem to be good enough. I keep fannying around with losing a bit here... putting it on.. then losing it again. Its so frustrating!

Also hearing you about the timespots.. Ive not had a loss but i find myself thinking all the time.. "If i get pregnant now i will be X weeks at X point in time."

June that's horrible. I find timepoints really hard even without having had a loss (as in "I wonder if I'll be pregnant by X" and then X rolls around and I'm not) - so the timepoints associated with a loss must be so difficult. I hope you are okay

Pink I need to join you on weight loss. My BMI isn't over 30 but I'm a good stone over my healthy weight. I read somewhere that just a 5% reduction in bodyweight can make a huge difference to fertility so I'm trying to use that goal as my motivation (but drinking alllllll the beer isn't helping!)

FP due on Tuesday. I have a suspicion it will arrive on Sunday (BF Baby Shower) just to spite me.

It has hit me a bit today that I shouldn’t be getting fp, I should be 35 weeks pregnant.
