Looking absolutely NOT going back on to birth control lol I hate condoms and artificial hormones do not sit well with me but I’m throwing out my opks and not having any timed sex because I just want to stop all of that now. We’re officially done naturally ttc. May look into IVF in the autumn but thinking of just leaving it until next year now.

Paranormal haha of course ;) if only it were that easy! Hope things are going well with your pregnancy :)

Paranormalbouquet · 08/05/2018 09:32

Sure @Bubblegum89 you’ll conceive IMMEDIATELY now you have stopped trying and RELAXED. It’s obvious isn’t it.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 08/05/2018 09:31

New and interesting side effects of clomid! - I've got the constant urge too pee/bm! It's like a uterus pressure thing. My dreams have been vivid and I'm hungry! It's like being pre FP!

@Owlpatrol. Thanks. :-) I'm sorry you were upset, there's always someone somewhere bragging about something. I have a friend who does this with money - very annoying!

@Si1ver. Oooh exciting! Let's home your eggs got themselves some soldiers ;-) ha ha sorry that was lame!

@Bubblegum89. I was wondering where you'd gone off to. Are you still going unprotected or going back on BC? I can't imagine wearing condoms again now.

Bubblegum89 · 08/05/2018 09:11

Hi all, hope you all had a good bank holiday in the sunshine! I’m done with ttc now but still going to hang around here for a while if that’s okay :)

Paranormalbouquet · 08/05/2018 08:49

@Owlpatrol does she know you’ve been trying? Agree, would definitely tell her that it’s eating for 1 and a sixth in the third trimester only (or something to that effect!).

@Si1ver fingers crossed there’s a good result for you today.

Si1ver · 08/05/2018 07:29

@Owlpatrol might be time to mention that eating for two isn't really a thing.

I had my EC yesterday and they managed to get six eggs, which given my AMH levels is the best that can be expected. I find out today how many have fertilised.

Owlpatrol · 07/05/2018 20:00

@LG93 oooh congrats!

@LookingAtTheStars89 sending positive vibes to you this month!!

Nothing to report here two days of ewcm on the hottest days of the year and so far managed to dtd once this fw. Planning to jump him again tonight . I've decided to be so chilled this month that I've not even used opks I'm literally going by ewcm and my "usual " ovulation days.

The woman that pregnancy bombed me two weeks ago has decided to rub it in twice this weekend by twice telling me she's "eating for two " and not had morning sickness and not once asked me how I am!?!?! Argh do one!

SparkwoodAnd21 · 07/05/2018 14:06

Forgot to say congratulations @LG93!

Congrats @LG93!

Hope you’re doing ok @Looking, I think either Clomid or Letrozole is in my future... nervous about side effects as every one of my mental health meds gave me side effects at first and I only tried metformin for 48 hours before stopping due to the unbearable nausea and diarrhoea... will know on Wednesday as that’s my next appointment with the specialist.

Spottyyellowdress · 06/05/2018 23:06

Stopped drinking in fw and two for a bit but made no difference so back to normal! And plenty of wine in the garden tonight.

12dpo and bfn on a frer today. That plus spotting means I’m out!

SparkwoodAnd21 · 06/05/2018 20:09

I am definitely not having wine in the garden right now, and I am definitely not rather pleased that next weekend away is just before FP is due, so I’ll be drunk on the train Wine

I drink in the 2ww too. I was drinking lots of red wine and eating runny eggs (which I think are ok now) the night before my BFP with DS. Like Sooz said, we bloody need it sometimes.

OP posts:
Paranormalbouquet · 06/05/2018 13:39

I’ve never stopped drinking in 2ww. Not a big drinker anyway so are only talking a glass or two of wine.

LexieJean · 06/05/2018 12:29

@bridget I defo keep drinking, although I have generally reduced my intake. I’ve completely given up coffee so I couldn’t do the 2ww without booze as well!

bridget33 · 05/05/2018 20:21

Thanks @SoozC. Definitely helps with ttc! After feeling so nauseous a week before FP last month I am refusing to symptom spot this month (she says as she feels a pull in her tummy and sore boobs three days after ovulation!)

SoozC · 05/05/2018 20:13

Congrats LG!!!

Bridget, I was still drinking the day before I got my current bfp, was about 12dpo. Clearly it doesn't make a difference and god knows, it helps when ttc.

bridget33 · 05/05/2018 20:02

Congratulations @LG93 - lovely news! I have a question...does anyone else drink in their two week wait? I haven't really changed my habits much since ttc and am wondering if it's had an impact?

LG93 · 05/05/2018 17:45

Thanks for all the congratulations everyone - it still doesn't feel real... Not sure when it will kick in... Watching one born every minutetl try and kick start the panic!!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 05/05/2018 13:19

@LexieJean I'm not sure. As long as it stays like this then it's ok. I'm taking at as a good sign that its doing something lol.

Congratulations@LG93

LexieJean · 05/05/2018 12:58

Sounds full on @looking are the side effects supposed to lessen as your body gets used to the drug?

Congrats @LG93!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 05/05/2018 12:46

Clomid day three is sucking a bit. I have really crampy legs and arms and I'm nauseated with an odd taste in my mouth Sad

Paranormalbouquet · 05/05/2018 07:40

Congested LG93!!

Chooklass · 05/05/2018 07:34

@Spottyyellowdress my DP is very chilled about it too, despite his poor SA and my pcos and endo!!! It's infuriating sometimes! X

Chooklass · 05/05/2018 07:32

Exciting @LG93 ! I'm still resisting urge to test (only dpo 9 ish). Loads of symptoms this month, but also been taking new supplements so trying not to read too much into it!

WonkyDonk87 · 04/05/2018 22:17

Ooh! @LG93 that's very exciting! Grin
